Ideal accommodation due to its location, its style and its welcome
Old-fashioned hotel, whether in the common areas, our room or the fairly decrepit breakfast room, in addition some "modern" fittings are not suitable, so the lamp at the entrance to the room turns on at the slightest movement, impossible to get up discreetly at night.
Very pleasant welcome. Room well soundproofed from the outside (you can't hear the sound of the church bell, even though it's located a few dozen meters away). Soundproofing a little less effective from the inside (in relation to the price paid = nothing to say about the quality/price ratio). Hotel very well located in Sault.
Lovely hotel on a wonderful square. Kind, friendly staff and the beautiful Nina (cat)!
Centrally located in the village! Outdoor parking at the back of the property! Hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness to the max! Even though there was no refrigerator in the room, I asked to put water in the refrigerator, and the host was kind enough to accommodate my request. The room we stayed in (in August) has some shortcomings: it lacks mosquito nets (with the window open, we were attacked by insects) and air conditioning, and we suffered from the heat during the night. I recommend it as a stopover for a few nights, but not in the summer for those who tolerate the heat!
Very pleasant historic establishment in the village of Sault, the food is very good and the staff friendly. Highly recommended.
Accueil et prise en charge très sympathiques par la directrice ! La chambre, cependant, devrait être renouvelée rapidement. Le petit déjeuner devrait être un peu plus copieux.
Sault is a small village, but the town and this hotel are hidden gems. Good food and friendly service. It was a Friday night and the hotel was full of people who were going to bike over Mont Ventour on Saturday. The majority were from several European countries. A friendly atmoshere!
We spent one night at the Hotel Le Louvre in Sault while passing through for a wedding in the area. The hotel was very quiet, clean, and provided excellent service and value for money. We would have happily stayed a little longer to enjoy breakfast, dinner, or lunch on the shaded terrace in front of the hotel! Next time!
A very nice discovery of this hotel: very welcoming staff, excellent dinner (with varied choices and organic wines), breakfast too. Very quiet night, very comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. There is a large parking lot 250m from the hotel (even on market day: Wednesday, when we parked there) We did not have lunch there but the menu, displayed is just as varied and different from dinner. Don't change anything, it's perfect.
Very warm welcome, very welcoming managers!
Beautiful hotel steeped in history, very welcoming and friendly staff
Charming hotel restaurant where we were very well received; very good value for money and all the staff were dedicated and very friendly; We will return with pleasure! Bernard and Elizabeth
Very comfortable and clean rooms. Nice location, directly in the city center but quiet and without noise. Suggested for cyclists staying one or more nights in the region. Locked garage for bikes on site.
Pleasant stay in an owner-managed hotel; very friendly and attentive staff; individually designed and renovated rooms, with practical furniture and comfortable beds. The hotel is older, but has retained its charm. Right in the center of Sault, so everything is within walking distance. There are parking spaces nearby, otherwise there are plenty of places to park your car further away; internet was a bit spotty. There is the option of having dinner and we took advantage of it; manageable and decent menu selection. Due to the lavender group tours, the hotel is always well booked and we got the only available room, facing north. A spacious 3-person/family room, with separate bathroom, bathtub, with shower curtain. Unfortunately, the surrounding bars/restaurants play music until late at night and unfortunately there are also night-time boules players who have to make themselves known with loud shouts until 3 a.m. Of course, the hotel can't do anything about that, so you should try to book a room with a balcony in the inner courtyard. Absolutely recommended!
hotel with a lot of charm, very clean on a very pretty place, relaxing setting

The hotel is very well located on the village's main square, with a very warm welcome from helpful and attentive staff. The room is very comfortable and everything matches the description. My only regret: not having the time to stay longer!
