Hotel ideally located in the city center, a stone's throw from the ancient theater. The team is very friendly.👌 Cycling friends, a space is reserved for you. The room was very good, spacious with everything you need, ditto for the bathroom. The only "negative" point to look for the little beast, is that there is not much space to put your breakfast tray and serve yourself. The breakfast is great with lots of homemade products (various cakes, grilled bacon and scrambled eggs, yogurts...) it is very generous. Very good address in Orange.🤗

A very nice hotel with a very friendly team and a lot of flair.

All in all, our stay was quite pleasant. The service at dinner was friendly, albeit a bit slow—had the courses been served more quickly, we would have ordered dessert as well. The overall quality of the food was good to very good. Breakfast was also satisfactory. However, we found it a bit awkward to get the cold cuts, as they were stored in the refrigerator and had to be unwrapped from the cellophane, while there was barely any space for the plate. A minor personal disappointment was that there was no pain au chocolat.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the location was central, there was parking around the corner, and the breakfast was very plentiful and good. Dinner was also decent, albeit quite expensive.

Not well soundproofed, inside and out. We could hear the conversation in German in a neighboring room. Walls and bedside tables with many traces of old uncleanliness. Hair and hair + splashes in the bathroom. Disappointing breakfast for the price. Cold bacon, 3 croissants in the basket; cold scrambled eggs (or omelet???), stained cutlery and other equipment and 16€ / person.

Finding the hotel with all the road diversions because the show in town was difficult and parking tricky. Would have appreciated being warned in advance of road diversion and getting help with directions and easier parking after a long drive.
Experience with evening meal : noticed later that we were overcharged for bottle of wine. When I queried with reception, they said it was nothing to do with them. 😞Hence mark on below survey

The hotel is in a good location, clean, and offers the option of a full breakfast or just coffee and croissants, with a significant price difference. The staff is very friendly. We had booked a small room, but they offered us a much larger and more comfortable one at the same price because it was available.

I reported at the end of the stay that we were unable to sleep all night because the air conditioning unit kept filling with water all night and it was very noisy. No action was taken on the bill. Otherwise, apart from that, the hotel itself is very good, it's a shame because we were unable to sleep properly.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, especially for assistance and placement in the private parking lot. Also for the night-time entry through the back of the establishment after midnight following concerts at the Théâtre Antique. Very quiet hotel, plus I had a room on the courtyard side. Despite the crowds on the terrace in the afternoon, the bar staff always had a moment to chat with me. Only positives for this family establishment. I highly recommend it.

Super friendly, dedicated team. Bright, welcoming room. Plenty of light for reading. Breakfast was very extensive by French standards. No on-site parking, but parking is available right outside. Access to the room on the second floor is a bit tricky, with several flights of stairs.

Excellent stay at the Glacier Hotel in Orange. We were very well received. We arrived a day before our reservation due to thunderstorms. The owners offered us a studio to help us out, which was so cool. Another big thank you to them. The establishment is located in the heart of Orange and very close to the ancient theater where we came for two performances, so it was very convenient for late evenings.

Very warm welcome from the staff, attentive, smiling and very helpful. Our suitcases were taken up to the room and an iron was provided upon request. Staircase and common areas smell musty, especially the areas with the red/burgundy carpet on the floor. The room lacks a refrigerator and drinks. The bathroom is a bit cramped and it's a shame that the toilet is in the bathroom.

Second experience at the Glacier Hotel, the welcome is warm, the staff always available and pleasant, the rooms are comfortable, very clean. I recommend it and I will come back without hesitation.

I had a great time. The welcome was very warm and efficient. I didn't have to wait for someone to give me directions. The room was decent, with everything I needed. The price might be a bit high, but it's the tourist season. The food options are good. The family atmosphere is very nice.

One out of two dishes on the menu were not available, not even at 8:30 p.m. Besides, the evening stopover is just between the main course or the main course and dessert. Very unpleasant bed sheets. A poor roll of toilet paper on the end of availability. Breakfast time too late. The hotel is closed at night. You have to leave through an emergency exit to find yourself in an alley. We don't know where we are. In the evening, we are made to pay, telling us that we will be sent an invoice without details the next day by email. We receive nothing and when we call to request it, we are told that it is not possible. In all the other lodgings I have not had ours, but all my other colleagues have had trouble getting bills without details. At the Glacier in Orange, it's No.!!! I would not recommend this establishment.

The hotel is very well located, just 150 meters from the Roman Theater. I booked a standard room for €55. The price is really excellent, as the room is beautiful and spacious compared to the average for this category. The bathroom is also pleasant, with a small bathtub, and the toilet is separate. A courtesy tray with a kettle, tea, and coffee is provided. The hotel has a small private parking lot with only four spaces (reservation is recommended); however, the price is a little high, as the parking lot is not covered and access is only with a member of staff, which can complicate a very early departure.

Everything was fine except for the parking arrangements- the hotel provides private parking in a small courtyard at an additional cost- guests who are parked in the second row will have to leave their key with reception- which is fine - however when I wanted to leave and as my car was boxed in by another guest’s car assistance from reception/management was far from perfect- it took me more than 30 minutes to get out - with repeatedly being left waiting … for someone to come and move the other car , for a truck delivering goods to the hotel to move , for someone to help me squeeze out ( actually no one came back for that part)… - so if you are not pressed for time and do not mind being treated as if they don’t care, all’s good…

We enjoyed or stay and would have rated the experience as very good, except we could not get the hot water to work for our morning shower. We were able to feel warm in the mixing tube, and the sink had plenty of hot water, I am not sure if this was operator error (I am just clueless) or if the mixer was on the fritz. The meals in the resturant were greaat, the location in Orange was perfect and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect!

Very quiet, clean hotel. Very warm welcome from the staff. The room is comfortable and stylish, kettle available in the room with good tea and herbal tea. And the breakfast is exceptional. Salty and sweet. Small verrines with fromage blanc and muesli and homemade yogurts. I will come back!

All the people at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The young woman at reception made reservations for us 3 nights. We had an excellent dinner there, le lapin ! Delicious ! Hotel well located in the heart of the city close to a large quiet car park where we were able to park our vehicle in a small private courtyard, which was equipped with a roof box. In addition, this hotel welcomes dogs, which is very appreciable for taking our greyhound there.

The rooms were all very individually decorated and well maintained and clean but in both rooms we stayed in the pillows lacked in quality. The bedding was great but not so the pillows.
The service at the restaurant could definitely have been a bit better but considering there is only one or sometimes two servers I guess it stands to reason that waiting is expected.

The staff are as friendly as their web site shows! Lovely hotel in a great location on the edge of the old town which is easy to wander around, the Roman Amphitheatre is just around the corner which is a must see feature. A great bar with plenty of comfortable chairs and it was loveley sitting outside on the wide footway watching the world go by. Private parking is available for a few cars and public chargeable parking in the front of the hotel. The bedroom was comfortable and cosy, the bathroom was a bit tight space wise but that is french interior design for you!

Wij hadden een kamer gehuurd niet met de verwachting om een wijds uitzicht over de stad te hebben. dat kamer 32 op een blinde muur uitkijkt vonden wij daarom geen probleem. Dat recht onder de kamer een airconditioning als een stoomtrein staat te brullen heeft ons echter de gehele nachtrust ontnomen. En dat is precies waarom je een hotelkamer reserveert, om tot rust te komen. aan deze vereiste is volstrekt niet voldaan.

For each of my stays in Orange, I choose Le Glacier as a hotel/restaurant. Rooms are always impeccable with careful decoration. Dinner and breakfast are very good, with choice.

Everything was perfect, the hotel is well equipped and the location is central. The small balcony is a highlight, unfortunately it hasn't been swept in a long time.

The hotel is in a good location around the corner from the center, the beds are good. For us this is really a French Hotel and with very different rooms which makes it fun. We had a delicious meal in the evening in the hotel bistro. Breakfast is I think also French but enough to choose from.

It is a well-kept two-star hotel but in my opinion it is too expensive

Les + : Tres accessible en voiture, positionné de façon optimale à l'entrée de la ville mais dans le centre, parking public et privé, possibilité de rentrer par l'arrière via un code en nuit, bon petit déjeuner avec produits artisanaux, personnel acceuillant, chaque chambre à un style différent, les 2 chambres réservées avaient un balcon.

Les - : pas d'ascenseur, le parquet de notre chambre n'était pas super bien posé (mais c'est un détail), le WC était de taille un peu petite dans notre chambre (nous ne sommes pas grand, donc pas trop grave à notre niveau), je n'ai pas mit 5 étoiles à "l'efficacité de formalites d'arrivée et de départ" car je ne sais pas si il est possible d'arriver en nuit....

The accommodation provided everything we needed. Especially good due to the central location and had parking, which are the 2 things that led our search. Due to visiting during a heatwave, the air conditioning was also ideal. The bed was big, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. We used the bar which was very pleasant but didn't eat there.

A very nice hotel in the middle of Orange. The room was small but nicely renovated. The breakfast buffet was very good and valuable. It was nice to sit outside. The air conditioning was not working well, but during the night the temperature decreased so we could open the window.

Perfect hotel for short stay on our way home from Corsica to Holland. Very large family room (4 persons). we did not have breakfast so no review for that aspect.

Access and circulation in the hotel quite difficult due to the very many steps despite the elevator. Some rooms have windows facing a wall.

I stayed at this hotel about ten years ago and it was superb!!! Today it is much less attractive: the staff is very kind, helpful and correct just like in the past, but the room was for 3 people, with a bathroom and a really small shower. The chaotic breakfast with average quality products and little space to move. The elevator works well and the cleanliness is impeccable. Easy parking in front and in the hotel car parks.

Squalid, damp room with questionable hygiene. In addition to hideous 70s decor, the room smells like dirty carpet, probably infested with dust mites (witness my mother's asthma attack). To top it all off, a couple of cockroaches were waiting for us in the toilets (supporting photo). The night, like the hotel, was a horror. Impossible to sleep with the noise from the street (bar exits until 4:40 a.m. and garbage trucks). A shame to charge €130 for this horror under the pretext of a “summer season” rate when they are just taking advantage of the Chorégies advantage! This hotel should be avoided. Better still to sleep in your car.

Pleasant and outdated hotel where I like to come with family or alone (like this time) The establishment offers via its "welcome booklet" present in the room, a meal tray service available in the rooms After ordering and confirmation everything was ok except that returning from the concert around midnight meal tray = None in room 22 (and for the record my last meal was breakfast in the morning). Homemade breakfast, it's delicious, the jams are to die for!!! The rooms we occupied were small. In one it was difficult to open a suitcase due to lack of space. One of the 2 bathrooms was really cramped. A person who is even slightly obese would not be able to enter it. Impossible to open a toiletry bag next to the sink. It is difficult to move around the dining room in the morning at breakfast.

we were a couple, we had a room that was too small: it was impossible to leave a suitcase open! obliged to bend over to get to the foot of the bed in view of a TV frame (which is of no use), a kind of enormous old closed suitcase upright serving as a wardrobe which serves no purpose other than occupied by the instead, to say, there was a suitcase rack but which we could not open! NO bathroom, a hand basin and still very small, having to put toiletries on a corner of the desk or on the bed!!! only the toilets had space (too much) fortunately to save the average, there is an elevator and a very very good breakfast

The room was adequate. The restaurant was a real disappointment- slow service and the langoustines with grilled vegetables at the dinner was so poor and the staff service slow and in many ways quite dismissive. The breakfast was good. The staff just not warm or welcoming- we didn't feel valued.

We arrived in Orange after a long drive in torrential rain and had a lovely warm welcome from Suze who was very friendly, and helpful about where we could eat that evening. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and was a good size. It was great to have a kettle so we could have a cup of tea! We were driving to the South of France on our journey to our home in Mallorca and the car was packed to the gunnels, so it was reassuring to have private and secure parking. Excellent breakfast the following morning …including homemade jams, and yoghurt, and delicious bread. My only niggle was I really didn’t like the bed linen, as for me the one of the best things about staying in a hotel is crisp, white pillowcases and sheets. Unfortunately the crinkly manmade fibre was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep on.

We booked the hotel for one night while we were passing through. It is right in the center of Orange, so you can still enjoy a bit of the town in the evening. Unfortunately, the public parking is not always free and very expensive if you want to park there for a longer period outside of the free times. It is also full on market days. The hotel is really nice, the room was very large (junior suite), so we had plenty of space even with 4 people and a dog. Unfortunately, contrary to the reservation, there were not two rooms, which my family would have much preferred. Apparently I snore ;-) We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose.

We werden allervriendelijkst ontvangen. De kamer was niet groot maar schoon en charmant ingericht en voldeed aan onze wensen. Het ontbijt was heel erg goed.
Daarnaast was het hotel vanaf de A7 prima bereikbaar en vlakbij het centrum van het mooie Orange. Met parkeerplaats voor de deur op het plein of tegen betaling een afgesloen parkeerplaats.

Prima hotel voor de prijs met gezellig restaurant. Parkeren is wel gewoon op plein in de omgeving van het hotel. Op een woensdagavond is dat niet ideaal want het is donderdagmorgen markt. Heb wel wat moeten zoeken voor parking te vinden. ad ook een race-fiets bij die ik weg kon zetten bij de eigenaar een paar straten verder. Aan de telefoon hadden ze me gezegd dat er een berging was. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor mij na lange rit met de wagen. min puntje

Everything was like new, the room was small but that was how it was advertised and the space was used optimally. The rooms were modern and contemporary. The restaurant was a mix of modern and old. Very nice and cozy. Everything was there for breakfast. Highly recommended. The location was great, all the sights were within walking distance. We would gladly come back anytime on our trip to Spain

Nice hotel on the edge of the old town, individually decorated rooms and common areas, lots of homemade food at the breakfast buffet, for us some vegetables and cheese were missing, but still very varied.
