Our room contained big heavy wood table and chairs and it was not practical in limit living floor area. Anyway top floor bedroom was very nice. We like fabric of bed sheet and pillow.

The hotel provided everything we needed for an overnight stay. Quirkily decorated bedrooms, a good evening meal and adequate breakfast.
I stayed there for an overnight stay, for the second time. I liked the room; it was large, well-decorated, with a roller shutter and excellent soundproofing. The bedding was comfortable, a large bed with a good duvet. Separate bathroom, always nicer for two people. You can also stroll around the streets near the hotel, which is quite pleasant. Light dinner. Pleasant and generous breakfast.

Hello, the bedding was of very poor quality! Breakfast consisted of croissants, pain au chocolat, and frozen bread, despite the fact that there were very few of us.

The welcome was very good, as were breakfast and dinner... the establishment is nice and the staff pleasant. One negative point: we had booked a suite for four people, and the downstairs space was really cramped... and if the room was one of those that had been renovated... it wasn't very appealing.
A dreamlike moment in a sequel to Knights of Malta
My room is very dark. For a business trip, eating at the restaurant is a rip-off! The number of dishes under €21 is extremely limited. It's impossible to order a starter and still be included in the package. I order a main course for €18, which is €3 less than the package price, and a cheap cider (of mediocre quality compared to the region). And I have to pay the full bill: I'm not unhappy about the €3 difference, but about the principle!

A very high-quality Smartbox offer. Hotel-restaurant with very refined decor and a simply splendid spa (it's a shame it's located 500m away).
The spa at the Knights of Malta resort is very clean and spacious. You'll want to go back every day. A jacuzzi or massage jets in the pool would be a real plus, making this spa worthy of a 5-star hotel. This resort is ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.

We stayed at Domaine du Château de Malte for a romantic Valentine's Day weekend. First and foremost, we wanted to emphasize that the place is truly magnificent. The setting is charming and perfect for a romantic getaway. The restaurant is also excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, we wanted to point out a few areas for improvement. Upon arrival, we noticed a lack of lighting on the road leading to the estate and at the entrance, making access difficult at night. Furthermore, we had breakfast in our room and were disappointed by several aspects. The cold cuts, pastries, and bottle of orange juice were not protected (not wrapped) and were left exposed. The coffee and milk arrived cold; we had ordered milk for two people, but we only received a small thermos, barely enough for one person. In addition, there was no cutlery or butter. Finally, the breakfast trolley was left on the landing without any prior notification, which we found regrettable. It's a real shame, as the place has a lot of charm and our stay could have been perfect. We hope these constructive comments will help you further improve the quality of your services.

Good hotel, pleasant, very quiet. Well laid out, restaurant attached to the hotel and easily accessible breakfast room, elevator, etc. Spa and pool not nearby, 500/600 meters away (we went by car because it was raining and it's also uphill to get there). Lack of signage inside the spa, you have to find your own way around, no one to greet you at the spa. Furthermore, disappointed with the service because during check-in before our arrival, I had simply requested as an option a few real rose petals placed on the bed (18 euros for the option), and we found in the room the petals as requested but also fake petals charged at 14 euros and a bouquet of roses charged at 49 euros that I had not requested but which I still had to pay for 😡 even though I never received confirmation of the option order during check-in. I got a discount on the artificial petals but not on the bouquet, of course 😕 Anyway, a good stay but a little disappointed with the service

This was our second visit to this establishment. We were very satisfied the first time and even brought our children and family… but disappointed this time. The sauna wasn't working and the pool temperature was almost cold. Luckily, there weren't many people there, as we had to wait to use the hammam. The pool water really should be heated, as this is a wellness center, not a public swimming pool. It's a real shame… The restaurant was excellent, and the room was comfortable, no complaints there.
The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

On our first night, the room heater wasn't working. We reported it to reception so they could look into it. The young woman said she would check and, if necessary, provide a space heater, which was done when we returned to the room. However, the space heater didn't work either. In the morning, we pointed out that the night hadn't been very pleasant due to the lack of heating. The receptionist barely apologized, and we felt like we weren't being believed. There was no compensation offered. We returned for two more nights, which went well with heating. The hairdryers are old and ineffective. A bit disappointed, considering the establishment's reputation.

The restaurant was very good, and so was the staff. We forgot a t-shirt in the wardrobe; it was the only item of clothing we had packed. I called in the afternoon, and they hadn't heard anything. The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired. We requested a room with a bathtub, but we had to clean the tub ourselves first. The ventilation system was full of dust. The towel was clean but had strange stains.
I was able to discuss the few minor drawbacks with reception, so I won't dwell on them any longer. Our stay was excellent, the hotel is ideally located, our suite was very pleasant, the restaurant was equally enjoyable, and the staff were wonderful too! In short, we will definitely be back!

There's construction going on right in front of the hotel. If I'd known, I wouldn't have come at this time of year, which is why I'm mentioning it here so others don't have the same disappointment I did… woken up at 7:13 am by a circular saw… I would have appreciated some kind of compensation… considering the price of the room, some details are also unacceptable (photos available), such as a poorly attached curtain, holes in the bathroom, and a broken and dangerous bathtub sealant because there are no grab handles to hold onto when getting in or out of the tub… The towels are worn out… the edges are fraying (photo available). The breakfast was basic, with defrosted bread and pastries, and thermos jugs of hot drinks without labels to indicate whether it was water, milk, or coffee. The jams were also unlabeled. I couldn't drink the very bad coffee and had to settle for the hot chocolate. Really disappointed.
Good stay but a few issues in our room (hair on the floor in the corners, hair in the bathtub, the room hadn't been vacuumed, and we found a tissue wrapper under our bed). €121 for a night in such a state, not great!
Overall, everything is satisfactory, even good 👍 Just one small issue concerning my room: the bath towels weren't washed thoroughly enough. When held up to a light, they showed many deep stains. Even after exchanging them, this only affected my room; I don't want to generalize.

The previous guests' breakfast crumbs were still on the carpet. The suite reeked of tobacco. There was a large cobweb above the bed. We sent you an email immediately but received no reply. Despite being regular guests of the South Serenity Suite, we're not sure we'll be returning. We expected a little more consideration.

Whenever I'm traveling for business in this area, I book a reservation at Le Fruitier. I know in advance that I won't be disappointed.
Overall very satisfied with our stay. We were upgraded due to room availability at no additional cost. A very nice restaurant and what can I say about the dishes offered and served as much for their originality, flavors and visuals. If I had to suggest an improvement it would be on the bathroom a little small and could do with being modernized a little. To summarize very satisfied with the stay, the place, the restaurant and of course the welcome. I recommend without hesitation
At the Knights of Malta estate we spent a superb evening and morning. The evening meal at the Fruitiers Hotel was delicious.
The cleaning in our room was not well done (toilets and bathroom). Fortunately, the receptionist, seeing our photos, offered us an upgrade. We did not know that the spa was not in the hotel but 800m away. In addition, the relaxation area was plunged into darkness and did not fully function due to a power outage. There were also no bath towels. It was impossible to dry off after showering with the room towels because we had to use them at the pool...

The charm of a city center hotel.

Disappointing experience, I did not expect this type of hotel at all, contrary to the photos presented. The hammam and sauna did not work. The wellness area is not in the hotel but located 500 m further away, unfortunately for us.
Disappointed by the neglect of the dishes (chipped glasses, plates, cups). Big dog in the hotel (hotel, restaurant, breakfast) and especially the carpet in the rooms even though pets are allowed.
How can we explain our disappointment following our stay this weekend? We booked with unlimited spa access and breakfast. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready, which is understandable; we waited about 20 minutes at reception. When we went up to the room, there was a smell coming from the pipes in the toilets and bathroom. On the plus side, the bedding was great. We decided to go to the spa to relax, but to our surprise, we had to take the car again because the spa wasn't in the hotel. We were told to bring our own towels to get there. We arrived at the spa and found it crowded, with no free lounge chairs, and the pool was freezing. How can I say that at the price we paid, this was unacceptable. We had an unlimited spa, but we stayed there for 30 minutes.... Our towel was wet when we got out of the pool, so it was impossible to dry off after showering. Back at the hotel, the receptionist asked us if everything went well, and we explained our dissatisfaction. He noted our dissatisfaction and informed us that he would pass on our disappointment. The next morning we went down for breakfast, there was no room in the room, we asked the receptionist, who informed us that she would make up a table for us that had just become available. A man who worked at the hotel arrived, but he was not very friendly. The breakfast was good but nothing exceptional to eat. The milk for the cereal had a very strange taste. We were looking forward to this weekend but in the end we were very disappointed. Having paid so much for not being able to enjoy...

💯 Everything was perfect from start to finish. David the waiter is an extraordinary, atypical character, he is very attentive to everyone's needs and hyper responsive to each request. Our room was chic, large, clean and bright. The bedding is high quality. I highly recommend it because the price is very reasonable for the level of services offered.

We were half-board for a week but with generally the same menu every evening unless you go beyond the basic amount of half-board at €21 but with dessert prices at €8-9, it is difficult to find an equivalent within the package... The welcome at reception was exemplary: the young lady was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. Highly recommended. However, the service on the terrace and in the dining room left a lot to be desired. Tables on the terrace that had arrived after us were being served. During dinner, it was difficult to get the staff's attention. They walked past without looking while we gestured for a question. Only after we urgently and loudly requested their attention did they look in our direction. This was below all standards.

Too bad we can't choose from a list what we want for breakfast taken in the room at the estate. Lack of hooks to hang bathrobes. No information on drinks in the fridge. No shower screen to protect from water around the bathtub.
No air conditioning in the rooms or a small bottle of water in these hot weather, which is a shame... otherwise nice decor and perfect soundproofing!
Great place to stay and investigate the area around! The hotel is located in the center of a town close to all facilities. The staff is in nice and helpful. Possibility to stay with your pet is a great advantage. Rooms are clean and well equipped.

The staff wasn't very welcoming. Greeting customers with a smile and a good morning makes all the difference. The same goes for the restaurant; they seem to be bothered by ordering food, and at peak times, the service was very slow, even just to get water that hadn't arrived. The room was dirty; the floor upstairs wasn't vacuumed; the shower was very dirty and full of limescale. The tub was dangerous and very slippery. On the second day, the towels were always wrinkled and wet, and the sink wasn't clean. The pillows were very old and flat, uncomfortable. Excellent location and charming town.

The room was great, so as the Domaine with the swimming pool, sauna and hamam. However it would have been nice to know that the keys have to be picked up at the hotel.
The main disappointment was the breakfast and restaurant service. The breakfast and restaurant are clearly understaffed and due to this staff is running around, creating a stressful atmosphere and even being rude in their remarks. (yes it is normal for parents and their kids of 7 and 9 years old they want to sit together...). It was not at all a fun experience to be in the restaurant or breakfast.

Average welcome upon our arrival. The email said 3 p.m., the person at reception told us that it was not possible and that it was always 3:30 p.m. Not very kindly. I had to edit my email to be right. It's light for a 3-star hotel. The room is a dime a dozen. You'd think she gave us the smallest one. No. 117. With leaky shower doors. When we left, always the same person. Who addresses her colleague when you speak to her and doesn't listen to you. Busy making comments about a customer... More than average.! I told her that the room was small, she replied. We have 4 categories of rooms, you took a standard room. THANK YOU for reminding me. It's a shame because the rest of the staff is very helpful and kind. Otherwise, a big positive point on the catering, thank you to the chef, we had a very good dinner. This was our first time at Logis Hotel. We created a customer account. We will do it again, hoping to be more satisfied with the room and the friendliness of the reception.

On avait la chance qu’il y avait une personne du restaurant. Qui a fait encore le ménage. Si non, même avec sonner aucune personne qui vous aide! Sur la page d’Internet, il est mentionné jusqu’à 9h30 petit déjeuner mais il me semble pendant le week-end, on parle de10h30. Quand on fait l’addition à la réception, on a ajouté le petit déjeuner mais on n’a pas pris ça…. À mon avis il faut demander les clients si on a pris le petit déjeuner et pas le prendre directement à la facture! C’est pas vraiment gentil!
Hotel located near very nice little restaurants, with access to the spa a five-minute walk away, extremely pleasant, maintained and clean. Hearty breakfast, some homemade things, appetizing!! Soft mattress, small room but sufficient to stay there for a few days, Clean bathroom and equipped with heating and hairdryer!!! Only downside very small toilet but hey it's not where you spend most of your time 😅
A very good stay, as usual. Just one minor point about the hot water, which took a while to arrive: 6-7 minutes in the morning. To be fair, it was 5 a.m., so I must have been the first one to turn on the water heater.

Access to the wellness area: sauna, hammam and swimming pool is very appreciable even if the swimming pool is not Olympic. The view of the construction site diminishes the green Normandy setting. We were well received and the staff is diligent and courteous. The dining room is, on the other hand, a little small for 48 rooms. The pavlova is bland, which is a shame. But we still recommend your hotel.

The room was very, very good and well organized. The dinner was good... a medium-rare rib-eye steak, which didn't look like it, several small pieces, a thin egg, and not very uniform with 40% left on the plate... the other fish dish was very good, so the quality/price ratio was a little above the real value for the meal. Overall, however, it remains very acceptable.

We have over the years stayed at Le Fruitier and it never disappoints. Still family owned and they care about you. We hope to revisit in the near future.

The heat in the room was stifling. The room was facing the street, impossible to open. The bedding was okay but the bathroom was in its original state, not practical, the shower window handles were broken, not to mention the hairdryer was out of date... very very tired. The welcome at breakfast was non-existent. The person came and went in front of us without a single thought, we felt like we were in the way. But the breakfast itself was good and varied. For a hotel that ranks among the hotels for "dream wedding anniversaries..." it is very disappointing. I will not return

A well-located hotel in the center of Villedieu. Visit the historic center nearby. Free parking at the foot of the hotel. A warm welcome, quiet room, and decent breakfast were provided, along with a quality restaurant. In short, a pleasant stay.
Very poorly organized breakfast with some experiences in different hotels. This is the first time I've seen a table swept and everything thrown on the floor like at a farm, which is a very nice additional service, but not everything works.
The room was very hot during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning in the hotel. We were told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because Normandy is not a region of France known for its heat! Furthermore, the TV remote control didn't work and the reception didn't think it necessary to notify maintenance.

We had to check in at one hotel upon arrival to here.. up and down a hill.. up and down to get keys. Up and down for breakfast.. air con not working.. we didn’t no who to contact.. no bar no restaurant.. the pool was the only good thing as it was a hot afternoon.. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.. awful.. upon checking out the lady at reception said to me €155 , to which I replied are you not going to ask me how was my stay.. she said how was it I said awful.. regardless €155 thank you very much.. not did you wish to speak to s manager.. nothing… do not stay here

We had booked this hotel for its swimming pool, sauna, hammam services, and what a surprise when we arrived to learn that everything was privatized, what a disappointment. It would have been nice to let people know

We had a pleasant stay, however, a downside to the services: we asked for towels when leaving the spa in the afternoon at reception, she said "I'll have them brought to you," but we never got them, so we had to ask for them again the next day. In addition, the spa is 500m away, certainly a great spa, but it's a shame not to have everything in the same place. We had a bottle offered during our stay, but we didn't have the opportunity to ask for it, but they didn't offer it to us when we left... too bad! Very generous breakfast and lots of homemade food!

Everything was very good, very quiet, very pleasant. The only downside was that the table with the kettle and welcome booklets was dirty on and under the glass top. What a shame!

A full-length mirror would have been welcome. There's no place to put your toiletries in the bathroom, and the single hook is insufficient for hanging towels and clothes.

Petit déjeuner bien servi ainsi que le personnels gentils et toujours souriants. Ainsi qu'au restaurant L'Atelier personnels toujours aimable et souriants. Nous y avons passé une agréable semaine. Seul problème, le parking, lors des animations ou le Marché non disponible.

The room was top-notch, very comfortable. We felt a closed garage would have been preferable to public parking. The only downside: the old towels, which were frayed, threadbare, and grayish.

We stayed two nights in the Superior Suite, Southern Serenity. I was expecting a single large mattress, but that's not the case, it's two single beds pushed together that come apart during the night or even during a little cuddle... we've known better for a romantic suite. The mismatched colored towels don't go with the white of the bathrobes, which are all size L... so a bit small for men anyway. The air conditioning in the room didn't work at all, it was 28°C all the time despite a selected temperature of 21°C. It's a shame there's no eucalyptus-type essential oil in the hammam. And a sauna where you're forbidden to put water on the stones, it's the first time I've seen that... on the pretext that some have abused it. This amounts to saying that all the customers are of the same ilk. The pool could do with 2 to 3°C warmer. And to have a little more sunbathing. The breakfast, served in the room is really very good and very generous. It is worth mentioning Very good soundproofing I believe that the villa was in fact a large bourgeois villa for a single family and that part of it was modified to make hotel suites. Example: the aromatherapy room whose use we do not really understand and which looks more like an old wine tasting cellar of a bourgeois family, where some furniture was put, just to give it a more complete vision. To be renewed, but if the points mentioned are improved.

The welcome was pleasant, the room a bit dark (the purple decor made it rather gloomy) but very comfortable. The surroundings were quiet, yet right in the center of Villedieu. The only downside: the old wall-mounted ABS hairdryer with a flexible hose, which barely dries anything anymore.
We have been here several times and every time everything is satisfactory! The welcome, the room, the dinner, the breakfast. Everything is perfect.
