The room was very clean but too small.

A very nice experience

We arrived 30min later than announced. Nobody at the reception, no code to enter, no details which room to take. We finally had to sleep in the car. I hope you have the courage to admit this horrible experience. Never again.

The setting is charming, especially the breakfast area, nicely appointed and offering options for all tastes. 🪴 Depending on the season, you can choose to eat in a comfortable indoor room or on the terrace, outside, to enjoy the beautiful weather. 👨‍🍳 The staff is both pleasant and professional. Always ready to help, they contribute greatly to the quality of the stay. We have returned there every year for about ten years - and it is always with the same satisfaction.

Overall good however check in time was 17:00. Had asked for 16:00 as on bikes. Said they would consider it however when we turned up in pouring rain on our bikes we got a flat no, even though our room was ready. If you're in your car then it's a great place to stay. Food in restaurant was great and good value for money.

I booked this hotel by one day, the only thing the hotelier told me was "I'll charge you for the night." However, tonight I needed a room, it's full, he didn't offer me any alternative accommodation, not the slightest discount even though I was supposed to come back tonight, he didn't care. Hello customer service. Fortunately, the Haybes hotel was able to let me have the Thursday room that I had also booked.

Very friendly staff. However, a 5 p.m. arrival (and indeed it was noted on the description) for cyclists is a late arrival time! and no way to get a room before, too bad - The room is outdated. Only one outlet at the entrance and nothing near the headboard. The staff provided us with an extension cord and power strip (thank you) - Average bedding at the end of its life. Room facing the street and very noisy. Heavy traffic! Very decent breakfast for the price. We even had fresh orange juice! Secure garage for our bikes! Great!

Good location, friendly staff. We booked last minute and had a double & single room which gave us plenty of space for the 2 of us. Plus double glazed french doors & shutter in one room and large window in the other so lots of airflow on a very hot afternoon and night. Lovely bright clean rooms with cool tile flooring. This was not reflected on the website, so pleasantly surprised!
Great evening meal on the outside shady terrace and basic good value breakfast next morning

Very clean room, quality bedding. Very kind owners, welcoming and attentive to their guests. Parking. The restaurant is excellent, we really enjoyed ourselves. We recommend this hotel and will return during a possible future stay in this beautiful region. The only downside is the bathroom door, which is difficult to open and close.

Sliding door for bathroom wouldn’t close or even slide properly. No plug available for washbasin. Mattress worn out. Terrible WiFi.

Great welcome, superb region and above all, impeccable cleanliness

The hotel is located near the Trans-Ardennes greenway and has a covered bicycle storage area. My room was perhaps a bit dated, but it was clean. The hotel's restaurant was well-attended, and for good reason: the food (especially the Ardennes specialties) is really good, and the staff is particularly friendly.

The welcome, the staff, the meals, the comfort... Everything was perfect.

Too much noise audible from neighboring rooms (noise of running water), dirty bathroom door stuck, faulty shower head.

Small but nice room. Oddly enough, there is no power outlet. And several light bulbs are burnt out. The TV doesn't work well, the signal is too weak.

Good bed, small room, no elevator, no air conditioning on the third floor at the back but everything is fine even with 30 degrees C. Excellent restaurant and good breakfast. Very reasonable prices.

Reservation at the Franco Belge for two nights on the occasion of the Cabaret Vert festival a few kilometers further. I do not regret my choice. The room is certainly small but with the necessary comfort. Just two downsides, the insulation and one or two additional electrical outlets would be a plus. To compensate, a nice little balcony and the kindness of the staff as well as the very affordable price of the night for two nights.

Accueil et service impeccable. Chambre petite mais avec une décoration soignée. Un gros bémol pour la salle de bains extrêmement petite et dont la porte coulissante est très dure ainsi que pour l’insonorisation de la chambre par rapport aux autres chambres.

The staff seems welcoming and friendly, unfortunately we had a bad experience because of our roommate who was making noise all night. The walls are quite thin and we can hear everything... Our neighbor didn't sleep all night and was talking to himself in his room, he was blowing his nose loudly every 10 minutes, he was listening to the TV, in short, we hardly slept at all... That's the only downside, apart from that the room is beautiful, well maintained, it smelled good and the bed is comfortable.

Over all a very nice place to stay. Food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable.
I didn’t use the Wifi.

A “good franquette” hotel as I like them. Bedroom and bathroom a little cramped. Excellent welcome and courtesy from the owners and staff. Hearty and delicious half-board dinner made with local artisanal charcuterie. All at an unbeatable quality/price ratio! A small, well-stocked wine list. One downside: check in at 5 p.m. We would have preferred sooner.
