We appreciated being upgraded to avoid having a room that was too cold! However, the pool water was a bit chilly, and the floor in the relaxation area was slippery! The restaurant was also a bit cool in the evening, but very spacious, which I think explains the difficulty in heating it! We will certainly return in warmer weather to make it more comfortable!

Reception and catering staff are attentive, helpful and friendly.

This hotel is very good, small even though the TV is glitchy.

The room is very old, the bathroom needs a major refresh. Rusty bathroom radiator and unheated room! In addition, you must bring your own bathrobe and towel for access to the spa because otherwise you are forced to rent, we should have been informed in advance.

The restaurant is advertised as a Restaurant Gourmand. I did not find it as such. The daily specials were the same throughout our entire stay and the choices on the menu gourmand did not vary at all. The other menu simply offered various burgers, not what I would call gourmand. Also the bed was rather small and the mattress very unconfortable.

Room 9 had a lovely big and very comfy bed with good linen, Had a great nights sleep. Had a bath ( lovely) and shower, hot refreshments, but surprisingly no water. The room was certainly comfortable but a little affected by the smell from the separate loo which was sited next to the bed. The bathroom had all the amenities but was perhaps a little tired. Dinner was excellent and we ate off the a la carte menu which had plenty of choice as we did not want a 3 course meal. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately, the distance between where we live and our stay at this hotel is almost 800 km. We would book this hotel again at any time. The friendliness is unbeatable. It was my best vacation in a long time. Due to my husband's disability and the needs we communicated before arrival, we found everything perfect. Normally, I get severe back pain after two nights because the beds are not comfortable. That was not the case here. I slept perfectly. The indoor and outdoor swimming pool, including the ambiance, was very nice. Ample parking in front of the door. One small thing that could be corrected: It would be good to have signs at the sauna explaining how to use the sauna: just a swimsuit without a towel? With a towel? All in all, I already miss the friendliness of the people. Their helpfulness. As I am French myself, I can't comment on the foreign language options. For the first time, it was difficult for us to leave.

A very warm welcome, very satisfied overall. It's true that the breakfast, price/selection ratio, is rather excessive for what is offered in the buffet. Very good food. The leisure facilities—tennis court, swimming pool, hammam—could benefit from a little freshening up, but quite honestly, for a family weekend of a few days, we really enjoyed it! The children were delighted, the parents too. We obviously thank the kindness and humor of the staff! See you soon.

We were very well received, the staff is very friendly. The only downside is the dilapidated state of the place, the broken tiles at the swimming pool, the hotel terrace not cleaned with green wooden chairs. Too bad the setting is very pretty, just improve the maintenance of the place and it will be perfect.

When you have a 3-star rating, it's clear that you can't be satisfied when you find used condoms in the office bin. No commercial gesture, just a few apologies from the receptionist... Concerning the room, no comfort linked to the heatwave (no air conditioning, no fan. The room on the 2nd floor, accessible by a tiny corridor is dated... No decor, a badly placed TV, a desk that must have been found at Emmaüs. Comfortable bed despite everything except that the duvet is the same as in winter for temperatures of more than 35° outside. The bathroom is very basic and small, the bathtub uncomfortable and very slippery, the toilet disgusting. In addition, the whole being attic, you bump into the beams unless you are Passepartout... As for breakfast: unworthy of a three-star (little choice of both cold meats and cheeses and quantities leaving something to be desired, frozen pastries reheated while a bakery is less than 150 meters from the establishment... I did not use the swimming pool but the exterior condition (bad grass between the slabs, missing or broken slabs) does not encourage you to put a toe in... No really, I will not return to this hotel which nevertheless applies 3-star prices.

As part of a Dakota Box, we stayed at the establishment for 2 days. Easy registration via live check-in online, satisfactory welcome, but very disappointing departure. The room was very cramped, attic, stained ceiling, very small and attic bathroom, old and stained hairdryer, rusty radiator, no air conditioning unbearable in this high heat; installing a fan would have been appreciated. No minibar! No bottle offered in this inconceivable heat! Let's move on to the meal, not worthy of a 3-star hotel whatever the dish ordered, we had the same toppings and moreover poorly prepared. Our Virgin Mojito served hot!!!! The whipped cream for desserts was also served hot. Breakfast too basic and scrambled eggs inedible as well as the hot fruit juice undrinkable. Ditto for the hot fruit salad. On the plus side, the indoor pool was decent, a little cold, the sauna and hammam acceptable.

some facilities that we have come to expect from hotels in this category were lacking, especially not having air conditioning bor at least a fan, and not having some bottled water available in the room or any face tissues. The roomwas however very clean.

Excellent welcome both on the phone and in person. Very clear information. Having booked through a smartbox, there is no difference in terms of dinner: generous dishes. The restaurant manager and his assistant are very friendly and available despite the very large number of people. Room 9 is very old but quite clean. We did however report that ants were entering the room. Very quiet location as it is well set back from the fairly busy road.

It's a shame in a hotel of this standing to have traces of mold in the corner of the shower ceiling and a large cobweb above the bed. Otherwise, the stay was perfect overall, the staff is very welcoming, and the SPA area is really beautiful, (could need a little refresh...), however the aquatic area is really well organized.

The hotel is still very decent overall, but room number 4 was very disappointing. The attic room and bathroom were both in the same room. The bathroom was a horror, it was a bathtub under the attic, almost inaccessible for showering, you were bent in two, so it was very uncomfortable to shower. However, the bedding was very, very good.

A beautiful, quiet place

We had a very good stay, the hotel night, dinner and breakfast. Honestly everything was perfect, just one small downside: the room was a bit cramped and there was no socket next to the bed for my husband's breathing apparatus, but the length of the cable was sufficient for the connection, close to the front door. The staff were very pleasant, especially the manager of the restaurant when we had dinner. THANK YOU for your good humor.

We booked a night at this hotel via a Smartbox that advertised two meals (3-course menu), two breakfasts, and one hour of spa time. When booking, we were asked to add €90, leading us to believe that this covered additional services. In reality, this amount only covered meals and breakfasts, and the spa was freely accessible to all guests. We therefore felt like we had been misled by the offer. We also paid €117 for an additional night. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to scratch: hairs on the edge of the shower in the first room, and in the second, a strip of garbage bag was lying on the floor when we arrived. The condition of the facilities also leaves something to be desired. The indoor pool is clearly dilapidated: the ceiling is crumbling, the edges of the pool are yellowed, and even in the sauna, the ceiling is damaged. This doesn't at all match what we expect from an establishment that's supposed to offer relaxation and comfort. In short, between the poorly explained supplements, the approximate cleanliness, and the state of the premises, we left disappointed. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but the maintenance and transparency are not up to scratch.

Room of modest dimensions - avoid room 49 - the foot of the bed is 20 cm from the bathroom partition for 80 cm. Very economical facilities: no sandals for going to the SPA, cardboard toothbrush "glasses" - why not - bathrobe for hire... On the other hand, large comfortable bed, indoor pool, sauna, hammam very decent. Staff at the top for the reception and the service in the room.

A very good hotel to recommend! A very good location close to Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer. The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful, well-maintained, wooded park.

The hotel needs a good refresh in the pool area, the staff is quite friendly, the housekeeping staff is very good, our room was always spotless when we returned at the end of the day. The breakfast is simple.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel overall. The breakfast was really great: well served, varied and presented with class. The pools were also very pleasant, I was even surprised because some comments suggested the opposite, especially about the paintings. Certainly, the hotel has a little old-fashioned side and the rooms are quite small and old-fashioned (adding a small fridge in the room would be appreciated) but that did not prevent me from having a good time. Pleasant staff. Large parking lot, the space at the outdoor pool was peaceful as well as the indoor space around the fireplace very cozy and classy.

A clean and fairly well-located hotel (in the immediate vicinity of Deauville). The room was clean, the bedding comfortable. However, a few things are missing: a hairdryer and a safe, for example. The hotel seems to have been renovated, but the bathroom and toilets are still missing a VMC. According to other hotel guests, it can be a bit noisy despite the new frames. Breakfast was disappointing: little choice, industrial and cold products (scrambled eggs and bacon). Too bad. Another disappointment: the deckchairs around the pool. If you're not quick enough and they're all occupied, you can't take advantage of them because half are reserved for ground-floor rooms. This was the unpleasant surprise of the stay. Note that we booked this hotel as part of a smart box, so overall the experience is okay, but I'm glad I didn't pay for the night, otherwise I would have been disappointed by the elements mentioned above.

One-night stay with dinner and breakfast as part of a Smartbox, we were very well received, moreover, we benefited from an upgrade, so we had a renovated room, very spacious (king size bed) and pleasant. The staff was very welcoming and warm, the evening meal was top-notch, with a waiter who was very attentive and with a lot of humor, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The next morning, we had a problem in the bathroom because there was no hot water, the person at the reception immediately gave us access to another room so that we could take our shower, so a perfect stay overall. The hotel and restaurant are well-kept, clean and charming in the Normandy style with half-timbering, in short, an address to remember for a future stay on the Normandy coast!

Room with the bare minimum and aging very badly! Average welcome not very friendly. Frozen pool with water everywhere around, no squeegee for the floor, slipping guaranteed!!!! Respectable jacuzzi and hammam. Perfect dinner but waiting time much too long! 1 person for the whole room including for the aperitif! As for breakfast, the icing on the cake, an empty buffet at 9:00 in the morning, what a shame! No more fruit, no more omelet, we were able to save 3/4 pastries for 3, it's frankly unacceptable!!! Not to mention the extremely unpleasant waitress who kept making derogatory comments to her colleague! The same one as at dinner, by the way. We will not return to this establishment, very very disappointed with the services!

I really appreciated the welcome and the kindness of the staff, the restaurant is excellent whether it is the evening meal or the breakfast. The room was a bit old but the bedding was perfect. For access to the SPA there should be a changing room before access this would avoid having to take off your shoes and put your clothes on a deckchair... not very practical and the bathrobes and towels are for hire this should be specified or put them as a deposit but not for hire.. otherwise overall it was correct.

Heating off in the room and bathroom!!!!! We turned on the heating but it is very old and too small for the size of the room (superior room), we spent our stay in coats so as not to be cold, I explained our concerns to the reception of the establishment but no solution was provided. In addition, I finished my shower with cold water because of the small hot water tank which regenerates itself a long time later. The bathroom is correct but the decoration of the room is very basic. Also disappointed with the spa and swimming pool area, no pleasant facilities for customers. The positive point is the restaurant.

This establishment does not "play the game" of the smarboxes. The receptionist certainly tried hard to select the worst of the rooms!!! Considering the price paid by those who offered me this box, the attic room was very disappointing, with a 140 bed and no service to enjoy the SPA: no bathrobe, no slippers (explain to me how to go from the room to the pool deck?). Heated sauna and hammam... only on request => 25 minutes delay. Cold swimming pool and only one shower available...

Disappointing The uncomfortable bed The service at the restaurant was expeditious, we still had our starters when we received our dishes. Service much too expeditious, the impression of wanting to get rid of the customers as quickly as possible. Maybe they are stressed because there were only two of them doing the service? That being said, it was not a pleasant moment. The reception was closed during the night, we wanted to leave earlier, because the bed was really uncomfortable and impossible to sleep, and this was impossible because the reception was only open at 08:05. We did not even want to enjoy breakfast, we left immediately.

The reception is always friendly, my one complaint, if small, I have had dinner at the restaurant 4 times in the last 2 months, the meat has been cooked to perfection, but the fish and the prawns way over cooked, so sad…

Upon our arrival, we were very surprised by the warm welcome, the luxurious and spacious room, the delicious meal as well as the little moment of relaxation at the swimming pool, we are repeating this experience.

After a pleasant first stay that convinced me to make it my hotel of passage in the sector, I was very disappointed by the room. I understood that during my first week, I had a renovated room, and that I was in the old rooms. Too bad ... not adapted to tall people.

The evening stopover was very good but the shower and toilets really left something to be desired.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was very good. But the welcome overall was quite cold, we weren't even asked when we left what we thought of the stay as if we were dreading our response. The hotel is cute on the outside, the garden is magnificent but the outdoor pool is not at all in line with the photos on the booking site, it needs to be completely renovated. Inside it's okay though, the pool is heated and pleasant.

Very bad reception, the staff does not say hello nothing at all. Old room, dirty sheets and towels. Faucet that is not fixed. We had the impression of living with the rooms around us so much we could hear everything that was happening next door. Swimming pool not very clean, as well as the hammam in which the ceiling falls. I did not have the room that I had seen in the photo of my reservation, I was told the photo is not contractual... I do not recommend at all, not at all. The value for money... frankly we were disgusted to have celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here

At our breakfast this morning, we had almost nothing left to eat (no more butter, Nutella, bread, pastries, juice or jam).

The reception was good until the receptionist saw that we had gone through Booking and then she became colder as if it was a bad thing. The return was the same, very cold, we were not even asked if it had gone well but at the same time it was in the logical sequence given the room. For the room, we found ourselves in a small chalet called "economic attic", this room is not found on the site. A wooden chalet, rather dilapidated with a half-sunken floor, a bathroom that would not say no to a bit of renovation, electricity that is at least 30 years old if not more and not at all up to standard. The shutters are half broken, patched up with bits of metal to be able to close them, the door does not even close if the shutter is closed, there is no curtain so you wake up with the arrival of the sun... In short, an old old room not worthy of a 3 star hotel at 100€ per night. As for the bedding, let's not talk about it, it's a mini bed of 1m40 and still not sure, with a low-end mattress where my wife and I end up with back pain from the first night. Also it says free wifi, provided that you are not in this room because you will not receive it, and the same for the 3g/4g/5g non-existent throughout the city. As for the cleanliness also it was not great, cobwebs everywhere and which certainly did not date from the day. For 100€ a night it's excessive, I slept in ibis budget at 60€ a night which was better quality and much more recent.

Petits bémols (ils y en a toujours) : nous étions dans la chambre 1. La partie mansardée est vraiment dangereuse, je ne suis pas bien grande (1m62) et je me suis cognée plusieurs fois notamment la nuit pour aller à la salle de bain.. Pas de commotion cérébrale mais bon.. Ca aurait pu.. Autre petite remarque: pourquoi Ciel n'y a-t-il pas de support sur le mur pour tenir le pommeau de douche ? Ça coûte rien et ça évite quon se tienne l'un après l'autre le pommeau pour se laver les cheveux..
J'ai aussi trouvé que le petit déjeuner n'était pas à la hauteur du prix.. Et une machine a œufs sans coquetier ?? Why ??
Ah oui et pas de wifi dans la chambre 1..

Néanmoins c'était un séjour très agréable, bien situé.
Et une mention spéciale pour la masseuse Maggy qui a été juste incroyable.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel and would be prepared to visit again if this fitted our itinerary. The room we booked was all we had expected and the friendliness of the staff and the welcome was all we could have wanted. The availability of trolleys for luggage was an extremely good idea.

Hotel with a typically Norman facade. Outdoor swimming pools (with adjoining terrace for dining at each meal) and indoor swimming pools, SPA. Clean, quiet, you feel good there! Friendly service and efficient room service! We will go back!

I was in room 2 it's tiny poorly maintained , poorly ventilated
Very difficult to walk around in due to multiple beams at low level. One small window in wall and one velux roof window.
It was hot and stuffy so opened the velux . I'm sure I could smell fumes entering the room when the velux is open. Maybe that's what triggered the fire alarm . Looking outside there is a chimney with a flue not far from the velux .
Of course I could be wrong but it may be prudent to check this .

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms.

The place is well located, there are beautiful green spaces, however the attic room is fine the only problem is the bathtub in the attic you can't stand up to take the shower and to get up and down from the shower is too high and dangerous for my taste you have to be flexible if I come back I will avoid this room otherwise the rest has been.

Niemand bij receptie bij in en uitchecken. Hotel is zeer sterk verouderd en is toe aan totale renovatie. Kleine kamer waar je je kop overal staat aan lage deurtjes en plafonds. Zeer slecht hotel op alle fronten

Room under the attic bed well but the bathroom bathtub under the attic impossible to take a shower standing up otherwise everything is watered so you have to get on your knees and for a person with little weight imagine what that can be like!!! The restaurant is not great, with a smell of sewage when you arrive in the room. Finally, we will not come back.

We stayed 2 nights with friends in this hotel. We were not convinced. The common areas of the hotel are tastefully decorated, but for the room, it's another story. It feels like grandma and grandpa's house. The toilets and bathrooms are really old and it takes 5 minutes to finally have hot water to wash. The swimming pool is supposedly heated and cold and the cleanliness is not up to par. The restaurant is, however, of good quality. However the breakfast is not worth the price for the merchandise offered. In conclusion I would not recommend this establishment. There is a huge gap between the photos on the booking site and reality. However, there is enormous potential...

Short stay of 4 days: NEGATIVES: • attic bathroom I asked to change rooms because we couldn't stand up to wash • I was charged 15 e for plastic rose petals (supposedly 3 star hotel) • Spa toilets never cleaned, no papers, locker room wall and toilets full of mold • Spa shower that works every other time • Tennis court full of brambles, not maintained • breakfast to be seen again dry cheeses fighting in duels and served several days in a row • Non-smoking room • Unheated swimming pool contrary to what was indicated on the site • No activity offered in the hotel, if you do not have a car you are lost • To do massage you have to book several days in advance the masseuses are never there and a massage is priced at 89e extremely expensive • This is why those in charge want to sell this dump there is too much to redo. POSITIVES: • Housekeepers who come by every day to make the bed and change the towels • Gastro restaurant (always the same menus) • friendly waiters, Big up to the adorable little bald-eyed boy • Nice decor but not great I have paying almost 400 bucks for a hotel that wasn't worth that price is absurd! Never trust the photos on booking! I wouldn't come back, that's for sure!

Too dilapidated and too old

Clean room, a little noisy because it is on the side of the road.

Room 24 a disaster, not secure, spiders and ants on the wall. Young people were chatting at night next to the door. No shutters. Very cold swimming pool and the off-center room. Breakfast really nothing more. Very friendly staff and maid. I felt like we were the only ones in the hotel if you can call it a hotel. I went there several times a year 10 years ago but this was a real disaster.

The setting is charming and the staff are very smiling and attentive. Very pleasantly surprised and I highly recommend it

No mention of work in the hotel unbearable noise in the rooms power cut in the night change of room by the cook we took a superior room with two beds bath balcony we had a room with 1 bed no heating no one responsible is came to see us so we only stayed one night and despite our complaints we are still waiting for a full refund for this stay! To date, no response from the hotel

Upon arrival, very beautiful exterior which well represents the charm of Normandy. On site we are greeted by a very kind older gentleman, a real welcome who takes us to our room. Room ok for the price, we can't complain... Attic room rather large. The cleanliness was impeccable. The only downside is that the hot water takes so long to arrive. At reception the gentleman was nevertheless understanding and said that he would report it and he apologized. Very poorly soundproofed room (we can hear the neighbor talking about the room next door) apart from that great stay, swimming pool not too heated but it's still OK. Hammam and sauna very beautiful and works very well. Negative point mold on the deckchairs but hey it's a small detail and the establishment is under construction we can't do everything at once! Disappointed at the start because the lady at reception, a young woman was unpleasant, we gave her the keys back and she jumped on me to tell me that "I didn't pay" even though my bank had charged me. She doesn't believe me! Forced to show her a photo of the proof and then she said to me "yes that's an authorization...." In short as if I were a thief. In the end she admitted that it was not normal for the bank to charge me and reimburse me for the authorization. Overall, very good stay for the price, can't really complain. And I was happy that it was really, really clean. Thanks again to the little gentleman at the reception, we will come back this summer for you!

Dilapidated room, radiator off, we entered the room it was less than 15 degrees! Bathroom that doesn't even need to be there, a bathtub under the eaves, impossible to wash standing up, I'm 6 months pregnant so washing squatting down was really difficult! The walls of the room were full of humidity, no ventilation. As for the swimming pool, which is barely heated, you have to be really brave to enter it and even stay there when you're shivering in the water! Extremely disappointed with this stay, it was the 2nd time we came but clearly the last and we will never recommend this hotel.

The welcome and the surroundings of the hotel are very pleasant. Easy to access too. However, we had an unpleasant surprise about the place. The hotel has remained in its original state, the room is minimalist due to its size. The bathroom is tiny. The hotel is undergoing renovation on some of the rooms and this is frankly necessary. The insulation of the rooms is non-existent, you can hear everything that is happening in the surrounding area. The heating was almost non-existent and the room was full of condensation. We are very disappointed because the interior photos are not realistic.

Establishment which has great potential but some rooms need to be refreshed. The Sauna and hammam area is pleasant. On the other hand, the layout of the indoor swimming pool needs to be refreshed and completed.

Big disappointment in my experience at the hotel ++++Positive: very pleasant reception staff Perfect evening meal despite 1 out of 2 servers being very cold and unpleasant (breath every time they return to the kitchen) -----negative: The rooms are very, very poorly insulated you can hear the neighbor talking and walking. Open and close the stations provide earplugs Ceiling height plan the arnica attic room I'm 1.55 m it's a disaster. Bathroom joint rooms paint peeling everywhere. Hair dryer which dates from the war of 14.18 which overheats after 20 seconds allow 30 to 45 minutes in several times to dry your hair. Internet connection disaster Wi-Fi not available everywhere (at the swimming pool and not in the rooms big paradox) Heated indoor swimming pool very very cold. Very inappropriate clientele at the spa area who take face time on loudspeaker. Hotel certainly under renovation but the price of the room is not under renovation.

Old-fashioned room, decoration from another time, crossing the courtyard to reach the spa but no operational locker upon arrival. Ceiling of the hammam very degraded, wall and ceiling of the spa damaged, no water dispenser.... The area should be completely closed during the renovation because there is really a lack of respect towards the customers who currently trust. Nothing is going well, catastrophic standing "a champagne bucket placed on the ground in the middle of the restaurant to retain water from a leak"

Disappointed, for a comfortable room! Really poor insulation, with average comfort. The most disappointing thing is the indoor swimming pool with a cold temperature! The hammam which was not in good working order. The most disappointing thing is having paid for two towels for a cold swimming pool and a HS hammam.
