Séjour en soirée étape. L'hôtel est un peu "veillot", mais très propre, et très confortable, avec tout le nécessaire. Le repas en soirée étape est top !
Et le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et serviable ! Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

very good set menu, quiet stopover

Very friendly staff, always smiling, everything to make the stay pleasant. We had to leave early on Saturday and breakfast is at 8am during the weekend, the staff arranged for someone to prepare breakfast for us at 7:15am, it was perfect and so rare. We also had breakfast (at the normal time) on Sunday and while all the products are of excellent quality (pure butter croissants and a very crusty baguette), there is little choice, notably missing a hard cheese and eggs. This said just to improve the quality even more. This is our second stay and we will return next year.

The hotel is very outdated and was an annex to the restaurant. The decor is from 50 years ago, very outdated.

A perfect family-run hotel. Clean, friendly and helpful. We arrived later than expected on a Sunday night but they but their brasserie was open with an outstanding menu. A shame we couldnt stay longer.

Nous avons réservé notre chambre en dernière minute avec arrivée assez tard dans la soirée. Accueil très chaleureux, nous avons été servi par une charmante dame qui a été très efficace et serviable bien que nous étions les derniers clients du restaurant en fin de service. Merci beaucoup! Chambre simple mais propre avec une très bonne literie. Seul petit b-mol était la salle de bain avec le robinet thermostatic qui était fin de vie et les serviettes un peu petites mais globalement, excellent rapport qualité prix tout de même. Petit déjeuner varié avec à nouveau un service excellent par une dame d’une gentillesse exemplaire.

A pleasant and relaxing stay by the water, not far from attractions and leisure activities. A very warm welcome in the restaurant/brasserie. The daily meal was delicious.

Excellent hotel restaurant with a plus for the terrace along a small river. The only negative point is having breakfast about fifty meters from the hotel because this place is the meeting of two old hotels. Lunch and dinner are in one building and breakfast in the other. This is not really a problem when it is not raining.

The hotel and restaurant were in 2 locations but only a couple of minutes walk apart. The restaurant was closed on the day we stayed (Sunday) however their Brasserie was open & the food was excellent

Very warm welcome. A small fan in the room was much appreciated. Something that rarely happens in a double room is that there are two chairs. In more than 90% of cases, there is only one. We had dinner on the very pleasant outdoor terrace.

Since 2022, fifth stay in this hotel and still just as satisfied

We stayed last year for a stop over & were pleased with our stay so booked again. However, this year we were disappointed that the breakfast was served in the sister hotel Le Clovis. Although this may not appear to be too far, as a walking stick user, I was not anticipating having to go so far for my breakfast. On this basis we would certainly think twice about booking again. In other respects the hotel was still very pleasant & we had a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant. Staff were friendly & helpful.

A particularly warm welcome despite the old-fashioned Clovis hotel!

Hotel was in a very nice location but we were situated in the annex (down the road from the main hotel) and the rooms are very dated and in need of some renovation.
The food in the restaurant was nice.

Stopover in a magnificent village for a day at Futuroscope with the family, which I recommend. Very clean hotel with a comfortable and spacious family room with a good breakfast; the bistro restaurant is very good with an exceptional children's menu, I recommend it.

Very well located hotel, well received... the rooms on the ground floor by the road are a little noisy with the traffic of vehicles and pedestrians... but not more disturbing than that. The rooms could use a little refreshment but frankly it's fine. The bedding is very comfortable. If there's one thing for people who don't eat breakfast, it's to install a kettle in the rooms with coffee and tea available. Happy with the stay

Offer more choice at breakfast: Eggs, Bacon, Local pastries?

A must-see in the region! The entire team takes great care of you. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The food is simply exceptional, in the purest tradition of French gastronomy. I can only recommend this establishment!

Overnight stay. A perfect welcome, very friendly staff. The food was excellent, with high-quality and generous portions. The room was comfortable and clean, although the decor was dated. I'd be happy to come back again!

A bottle of water in the room would be a plus. As well as additional sockets, only 1 for the entire room and not necessarily well placed. For the rest, everything is perfect. Big plus for the restaurant which offers very good and good quality dishes.

The meal was exquisite, bravo to the chef I met who was super nice and smiling. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. A huge thank you to the waiter I had at dinner and to the smiling and helpful treasure lady at breakfast.

Excellent welcome, very friendly staff, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. The birthday meal of our aunt who was celebrating her 90th birthday will remain forever etched in her memory: excellent cuisine, succulent local products, including the bread! An address that is more than worth the detour!

No kettle or coffee maker in the room. You are greeted in a rush. You have to leave the hotel and walk 500 meters to have breakfast (fortunately it was not raining). So you have big doubts about whether you can return to your room after breakfast because the front door does not open from the outside and no one to give you any information. Hair dryer HS (cut air hose). HS light bulbs, an aging bathroom... not recommended at all

Overnight stay. There are actually 2 hotels, the Cheval Blanc, where the restaurant is, and the Clovis. In my case, the room is at the Clovis. The room is clean, but old, especially the carpet on the floor... The meal is at the Brasserie du Cheval Blanc. Good meal. Undeniable value for money for an overnight stay.

Excellent 3-night stay which took place in the best conditions. We (family of 2 adults and 2 children) will return with pleasure and we highly recommend the establishment for the welcome, the accommodation, the parking and the catering!

How I imagine a hotel would have looked in the 1970s, but with 21st century facilities. Everything worked well, just looked a little dated. If I was in this town again, I would definitely stay here. The staff in particular were great.

Excellent experience! It is worth getting away from Poitiers to enjoy the peace and quality of the welcome as well as an excellent table. Large room and quality bedding combined with peace and quiet for an excellent night.

We really enjoyed the stay, the room and premises were quite adequate, the restaurant was exceptionally good for dinner, wine pairings and service. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgable. A nice village location too

We particularly appreciated the people at the evening meal at the brasserie who were extremely kind.

Mixed experience with a lacklustre reception and a lot of confusion about the building. Could have emailed ahead of time. High chair didn’t have straps so wasn’t usable. No AC in the room and only a tiny fan which made little difference to how stuffy it felt. Breakfast was adequate and the staff member saying goodbye as friendly. But all in all, not a highlight of our trip.

Room 10 overlooks the terrace of the bar at the entrance to the hotel. It is not a place "where calm reigns" contrary to what is advertised!!!

Negative side: We had breakfast at 9:30 (it's open until 10), and there was almost nothing left to eat, and the tables weren't cleared... It's disappointing, the restocking wasn't done, and it was dirty around (juice, milk, spills...). In addition, the staff members (reception, and no one in the breakfast room) were not very friendly. Positive side: Welcoming staff when we arrived. The roller shutters in the room mean you won't be woken up by daylight.

Un pauvre petit ventilateur est à votre disposition dans la chambre et reste insuffisant.lors de notre arrivée au petit déjeuner, plus aucun aliment sur le buffet. Toutes les tables étaient à débarrasser. 1 seule personne au service pour plus de 80 personnes. Inadmissible

Too bad the room we reserved for you for 2 days is so badly located, next to the entrance hall on the road side. Noise until 1 a.m. from the entrance door and it starts again at 6 a.m.

Very disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed - the Logis booking site clearly states it is open every evening. Apparently it is closed Sunday & Monday nights. Had to eat in the Brasserie which is not a patch on the restaurant! which we have used several times before.
Thought we had booked our room in the main hotel but landed up in the "Annexe" .

Evening stopover for top work. Pleasantly surprised. Quiet away from the noise of the city. Excellent restaurant. The hotel could do with a little decorating, but the comfort is there. I'm going back without any problem! I highly recommend. unbeatable value for money!

Quite dilapidated place but very good bedding

This is a good restaurant but not a good hotel. The owners were the only ones un 50 years of travel which have disregarded the comfort of the clients. They kept us up until midnight in a nearly empty hotel by eating and drinking under our window from late afternoon until nearly midnight. The young staff were lovely and very embarrassed.

shame to sleep in an average annex room

Rooms with slightly dated decoration and equipment. Few power outlets and none near headboards. Small format TV and image and sound quality to review. Low-end taps with cartridge blocked by limescale in the shower: no hot water!. Rather light plastic shower head bars and holder, does not hold the shower palm well. Loud flushing. Another point: Clovis hotel in a building 200m from reception, requiring you to go through the street each time. Good bedding and cleaning ok. Customer service staff. Family supplement of 73€ to 100€ which is not very understandable.

The first time we were at the Clovis, the room was ok but nothing more. This year we returned there because it is on our travel route between the lot and Brittany and this time we were above the welcome at the horse white (I think) and we loved The spacious room with sofa and table The perfect bed The mattress Top The cleanliness.. nothing to say The calm.. perfect and yet we were above the brasserie

Attracted by the food ! The menu Terroir proved tasty & good value when included in the tariff for our overnight stay. Decor of the room was somewhat tired…but clean & comfortable.

A little strange staying in a separate block away from the main hotel. However the staff at the main hotel were very good, particularly the two gentlemen who served in the restaurant in the evening, who were exceptional. One of whom, helped to arrange a secure parking spot for my motorcycle overnight.

Very welcoming staff! Friendliness! For breakfast, a little suggestion, add wholemeal bread, to cereals, not white flour. And then fresh fruit!

The shower head needs to be replaced, otherwise nothing to say about the rest. Everything was perfect.

You should stop at any point where you are 15 km from Poitiers and there is no rust. Kamers zijn comfortabel. Restaurant is van zeer goede kwaliteit. Zeer hondsvriendelijk. Hiervoor een kleine kost (5 €).
