Excellent stay! The hotel is very well located near the city center and the train station. The staff is very friendly and attentive, even the cleaning staff! The rooms are comfortable, and the bathroom is very nice and practical. The breakfast buffet is plentiful; the only thing missing is scrambled eggs! :) And the restaurant right next door is very convenient. Parking is easy. So what more can I say? A great stay, and highly recommended! This was our second stay, and we will definitely be back.

Enjoy your stay at this hotel near the lake

I spent four days and nights at this hotel and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel is well located, very close to the train station and within walking distance of the city center. The rooms have double-glazed windows, which completely blocks out outside noise, but the interior is much less soundproofed. The staff is lovely, whether at reception, breakfast, or dinner. If I return to Thonon-les-Bains, I will definitely stay at the Hôtel L'Arc Ciel again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Arc en Ciel hotel, ideally located in the city center, with a friendly welcome. The room was comfortable, with a very good bed, clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and quiet.

The hotel is well located, near Thonon train station and the town center, with free, secure, and monitored parking. The room is spacious, with a balcony. Everything is clean. The staff is friendly and attentive.

A very pleasant stay, good value for money. Located very close to Thonon train station. The rooms aren't all brand new, but you can see that an effort has been made to modernize and decorate them. The beds were comfortable. Friendly staff, and a fairly varied breakfast.

Third stay and still just as good. Clean, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere... I recommend it, but don't all go or I won't have any more rooms!! Thanks again and see you soon

Pleasant and smiling staff who listen to our every need.

After a first impression of a rather unmodern hotel upon arrival, we were finally won over by this establishment: excellent welcome, very professional staff, large, bright and clean room, perfect bedding, huge shower room (with window!), very good and very complete breakfast, large swimming pool (but not heated), ping pong table…. Really very good. The location, mixed: if you want to enjoy Thonon above all, the location is not great because it is not in the center very close to the lake, but to visit the region it is ideal because it is right next to the train station and quick access by car to the roads leading to the various sites of interest.

We had a very good stay. The access was poorly indicated by the GPS but a passerby helped us find our way there. Very small parking lot but we were given a parking solution...thank you. The restaurant is apart from the hotel...not easy to find your way around but very good food and a warm welcome.

Excellent welcome, great kindness and availability of the managers. Very well located and very quiet hotel.

Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Room clean and functional but nicely styled. Walk to lake front is 30 mins or so and the walk back a bit of a challenge due to elevation but it's a nice walk and because we're reasonably fit we were very happy to walk both ways. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years on various occasions. Sometimes just in transit to Provence, sometimes to spend a holiday in the beautiful Savoie region. The stay with the Favre family is always marked by great friendliness and one always feels welcome. The price-quality ratio is excellent and I can only highly recommend the restaurant "Les Marronniers" (which is located in the neighboring hotel, also owned by the family).

It had been a long time since I stayed in a Logis de France hotel. And I was not disappointed. The staff is very attentive: extra tea bags, soft-boiled eggs on request at breakfast, advice for visiting the city... Besides that, the room was spacious and the balcony very pleasant. The parking is easy to access and there is even a room for bicycles. Next to the train station without the inconveniences, access to the center and the port is quick and can be done on foot. Great experience!

Magnificent establishment with professional and attentive staff. A hearty breakfast taken in an airy and sunny space. The little extra of the swimming pool, the gym with a ping pong table, the room with table football and billiards allowed us to relax even more

A hotel 5 minutes walk from the city center with a very friendly welcome but very noisy hotel: do not expect to sleep after 7:30 am especially if you have a room in the corridor that goes to the breakfast room. The swimming pool quickly fills up after 4 pm because you have to share it with those of the chestnut trees and the villas..Certainly the bed is huge, the bathroom pleasant but the walls are super thin. Uncomplicated stay; friendly staff; clean and spacious room with comfortable beds and large balcony; rich and varied breakfast; plenty of parking spaces and internet works perfectly. Central location, within walking distance of the train station, bus station or city center/pedestrian zone. For dinner in the independently run restaurant, reservation is definitely recommended and a decent menu is offered; the prices are not too low.

Nice room with bath. Comfortable beds. Great little pool for kids. Yet, no air-conditioning and breakfast disappointing. Products average. If you come by car: indoor parking limited so do not come too late or book the underground parking. If you come by Train: Train station very close but you do not hear the trains. However, great helpful staff and cleaners friendly. Overall good stay.

We were very very well received, the room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Being able to leave the room at 11:30 allowed us to enjoy the pool in the morning as well. A wonderful stay for my 6 year old daughter and me.

It was very hot and unfortunately no air conditioning in the room. We had to sleep with the window open to hope for a little coolness, with the many noises from the street, it was difficult to sleep

Beautiful hotel, clean, nice, well-heated swimming pool, near the city center, easy to access. Top notch staff. The only downside is that the parking lot is always full with people taking 2 places and there is a small quantity of bread at breakfast and the staff does not add any or very little when there is no more (especially wholemeal bread) so a little expensive for what you get. It is .

As an American visiting France, I was very grateful that our hostess spoke some English and was able to show us around the hotel. When we arrived, our hostess explained that a large family with a baby made a similar reservation to ours, needing a single room with multiple beds, so she upgraded our reservation to two rooms for free! That was so generous of her, we are so grateful for our stay at the Hôtel l’Arc en Ciel!

We are returning visitors

The separation between the toilet and bathroom is not ideal, and the toilet is very narrow. Some of the rooms are thinly soundproof, even from the hallway. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep in properly because the cleaning started at 8 a.m. We would have liked a reduced price for breakfast for our child. Very nice pool and the breakfast was delicious and varied.
