from Dresden city centre, just 5 km from the city gates. In addition, the route in the romantic ore mountains is not far away; and the Swiss part of Saxony, a place for hiking, climbing or lingering, is also very easy to reach from here. Our family-run business offers you 10 comfortably furnished, spacious double rooms at the foot of the Blue Mountains, which are equipped with separate baths, televisions, writing tables and phones. The entire building comes with free W-LAN, which ensures constant accessibility and also lets you comfortably handle your “home office” in your room. In the restaurant, under the leadership of chef Evelyn Walther, you can enjoy a cuisine which is always light, fresh and seasonal – flavoured with wild herbs and attention to detail. You will also find this love in the warmly designed and decorated premises of our building. The sommelière and daughter of the premises, Stephanie Walther is, together with her parents, responsible for your well-being and the perfect wine accompaniment when you are in the restaurant. As soon as the first rays of sunlight delight guests’ moods, it is time to enjoy the outdoor environment – and the best place to do this is in our romantic rose garden behind the building. It will leave guests spellbound with its historical scented roses as well as individual sandstone elements, and it’s a place for lingering and even enjoying a summer BBQ. If you’re still looking for a little present for your family and friends or just want to give yourself a treat, you will always find it in the wide selection of the delicate edible roses that can be found with us. These are manufactured by us on the premises, in the form of our own uniquely handicrafted roses; they can be acquired in the country hotel.
