Restaurant la Vallée

Nice place to stay overnight on the way to Spain. Also booked for the return journey. Excellent restaurant.

Clean and comfortable room, delicious and original meal, very pleasant staff. Thank you again for the breakfast served earlier than expected.

Upon arrival, no one was present, and we even thought everything was closed! A phone call solves a lot, so to speak. Peace and quiet is something else entirely when you notice on your outdoor terrace that you hear a freight train thundering past every ten minutes, barely 15 meters from your patio.

There is no staff on weekends; you have to retrieve the key from a box on the outside wall using a code sent by SMS.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant, attentive, and helpful—truly top-notch! The room was quiet, modern, and spotless. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and impeccable service. The only slight drawback was the proximity to the railway line. I heard several trains at night, but thanks to good soundproofing, it didn't bother the children or my partner at all. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

When arriving at the hotel we noted with great disappointment that the restaurant was closed. Nobody was there to take care and we were checked in by email exchange. Email exchange was friendly and contained all information that was needed. I booked to hotel to enjoy the restaurant and the nice terrasse after a long cycling day. We had to go for dinner by bike again.
The room was OK, unfortunately the train runs throughout the whole night. In the shower the water is overflooding the bathroom while taking a shower.
In the morning staff served some coffee and nobody asked if we would want breakfast. Staff was friendly but not more / very impersonal.
I would book the hotel again, but only if the restaurant would be open.

Despite a very late arrival, the welcome was impeccable and the suite was equally excellent!

I didn't give it the highest rating because: - The hotel is located near a train line (but it's not too bothersome as there are few trains and the air-conditioned hotel is well soundproofed). - The back of the hotel isn't very well maintained (long grass...) which doesn't make you want to enjoy the terrace.

A kettle, cups, tea or coffee set is missing from the rooms.

A young and dynamic team. Attentive to customers and very professional. Refined and very tasty cuisine. Impeccable presentation.
