Unique room/suite. Very courteous and helpful staff.
It was just perfect!
It was disappointing to learn upon arrival at the room that the restaurant initially planned just below was closed. We had to call for an explanation and were eventually directed to another establishment located 2 km away. We had to get back in the car and waited for breakfast.
The stay went very well, a superb room, a very warm welcome and a perfect restaurant.
Lovely room, breakfast adequate for us. Dinner on Dinner on the other hand was terrible. Probably the worst we have ever eaten in France. Both duck and beef so tough unable to chew it. Two chunks of meat sums it up really.salads and vegetables been hanging around for 2 long out
Lovely, spacious room with a very large bed, a beautiful bathroom, and a lovely view of the canal. Delicious meals at the hotel restaurant.
Make sure to specify that there is no reception on the booking platforms, and that the staircase is quite narrow.
Very nice and comfortable room. Good homemade food.
Hera's house is pleasant, clean, and quite quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bedding is good quality. I had breakfast at the Hôtel de la Mire. The buffet is good and varied, and the staff is friendly. The fireplace is very welcome at this time of year.
Excellent overnight stay. The room was well-appointed and spacious. The restaurant offers delicious dishes made with quality ingredients. This establishment has a lot of charm. Thank you for the very warm welcome.
This is NOT a hotel, it’s one of two sumptuous rooms overlooking the river accessed from the outside of a cafe/restaurant using two code boxes via a tiny steep internal staircase with no handrail. Carrying luggage is impossible. You are in the building alone overnight.
This is my second time here, we were well received, the people are pleasant. The place is unusual, very large room, pleasant and well maintained, clean. Good bedding. You can hear a little noise from the street, especially in the morning. The meal served for the stopover evenings is perfect, with a lot of choice and good quality. I will come back with pleasure.
Good room, location and evening meal and breakfast. Stairs very difficult with bags. No reception on arrival . Initial difficulty with staff , lady, in restaurant for evening meal.
The Art Deco room is incredible: luxury and voluptuousness are the two words that come to mind to describe it.
More of a brasserie with two rooms. These are located on the first and second floors, accessible via a very narrow spiral staircase. Reception was supposed to be via email (requiring a code to open the room), which didn't work. A report to the brasserie (the "hotel" entrance was unclear) led to a referral to the room entrance, without mentioning that this required a code. Without a code, the door wouldn't open, so we returned to the brasserie. The lady then accompanied us upstairs and opened the door with her code, so access was secured. We never received our own code due to the lack of clarity, and the owner's code didn't work either, so we gained access via key. The room was fine, with an open bathroom. A great space, equipped with a comfortable bed, seating, and air conditioning. Parking is available in a nearby square. Good to know: access to the rooms is only possible if you are able-bodied.
Well-located hotel overlooking the Berry River and Canal. The room features a unique Napoleon III décor, a large surface area, and a view. The high-quality restaurant is located in the same building.
Beware this is not a Hotel. It is 2 rooms above a cafe/restaurant. No reception, no hotel sign. You access with a code or via cafe. Stairs to room extremely dangerous and a fire hazard. They are very narrow, wooden and spiral. I could only get up crawling. Logis should be ashamed to recommend it.
Access to the room is very easy outside of restaurant opening hours by sending codes to open the doors. The Napoleon room is surprisingly decorated and very spacious, very pleasant and very comfortable. With the option of having breakfast in the room to fully enjoy the place. Great experience
Beautiful room in a beautiful, unusual house. A lovely terrace for dining or breakfast with a breathtaking view of the river.
Beautiful room on the banks of the Cher in the centre of Vierzon.
A GEM! Very well-organized remote reception. Very pleasant and available person after 9:00 PM! Incredibly fresh breakfast with a selection delivered TO THE ROOM at the scheduled time! Great view / great bedding. Thank you for this evening.
It's a shame to receive a welcome via text message and a key in a key box... when you're looking for a hotel, it's not an Airbnb. The staircase is very narrow; it would be good to mention this. The television is awkwardly placed at the foot of the bed and too close. There's no Wi-Fi. Shower water spills into the hallway... the drain is too small for the shower pressure.
This hotel is very well located in Vierzon. The room is beautiful and very well-equipped. Tip: Don't bring a large suitcase as the stairs are narrow.
Very comfortable room, friendly staff
The half-timbered house in Vierzon is a very old house restored with great care. A little marvel. The Napoleon III room is sumptuous without being ostentatious, with high-quality drapes. A beautiful experience - sleeping in a large four-poster bed. From our arrival to our departure, we were very well looked after. All the people who took care of us deserve not only an excellent rating with a very good mention.
Very spatious well renovated room in typical charming old house.
...
Our comments are related to our age and experience: difficulty parking upon arrival, the car being far from the hotel entrance, forcing us to carry our luggage a considerable distance, and the unsuitable staircase to our room (narrow and steep) – we were on the second floor. Tired from the drive, while understanding this type of efficient and professional service (phone, email, and text message), we missed having a physical presence at reception. (This was compensated for by the friendly welcome in the restaurant and the prompt delivery of breakfast to our room.) Kudos to the person who came up twice, carrying two trays without spilling any drinks, to serve us our breakfast! We would have forgiven her. Perhaps I didn't read the hotel's online description carefully, but it could perhaps clarify certain points... Despite the positive aspects (and there are several), we will not be returning.
It is very difficult to rate this hotel since it is not a hotel despite its name but in some way an Airbnb. No hotel service is provided, no reception, no room service that was not made for two days, no room service, etc ... The reception is done by sending a text message with a code that allows you to open a key box on the facade and you manage on your own until departure with the same procedure. It is a shame because the location is charming on the corner of a bridge with a view of the river and the Napoleon room is very large, very well equipped and with original decoration, not to mention quality bedding. But if we had wanted an Airbnb we would have booked an Airbnb not a hotel! There is a kind of deception on the merchandise ... hence the poor overall rating. Concerning the associated restaurant, the team is very pleasant and helpful. The prices are correct. The menu is very short, which is not a problem, but when the dishes are Veal's Head, Andouillette and Pike Quenelle it is a bit segmenting, fortunately there is still the burger... the second day we had 2 rather successful starters. The foie gras was excellent, like the tatin, the burger very good, the veal head ordinary and what is sure is that it is not homemade as announced at the start, the egg meurette is good to the taste but overcooked to the limit of hard-boiled egg probably reheated, the Gravlax salmon is of a good quality too bad it is not at all Gravlax! (friendly reminder of the recipe for the chef, marinate the fillet 24/48 hours by covering it with a mixture of 50% salt and 50% sugar with pepper and dill). In short, there is not much missing for this establishment to be very good, but already not lying about what it is, that only generates frustrations.
The room was beautiful, and if that were all the stay would have been. But everything else was disappointing. We were greeted by phone and were told the wrong room, the entry code on the landing and in the room was impossible to manipulate. We booked a table in the restaurant near a window but when we arrived (on time) it was already occupied. And above all, a breakfast at €15 with just a hot drink, bread and butter. We had to ask for jam, but nothing else was offered. It was only when we were surprised at the price of this breakfast that we were told that there would have been orange juice if we had asked for it. No fruit, no savoury food (except the bill!)
Honestly great. A marvel
The choice was made based on hotel AND restaurant criteria. The hotel was rated "elegant" and the restaurant "gourmet" according to Logis standards. The room was fine, but the Zouzous restaurant was nowhere near up to standard. Upon arrival, I had to ask at the bar for directions to my room, and I had the unpleasant feeling that I was bothering the bartender, who seemed annoyed by my questions. This person explained that I should have received a text message with the information, which I hadn't. I also felt like I was arriving at an Airbnb rather than a hotel. The door locking system is temperamental. There's no blackout curtain on one window. The windows don't offer enough privacy; privacy film would be welcome, at least in the bathroom. As for the restaurant, it doesn't live up to the "Gourmet" standard as defined by Logis. Tasteless dishes, at best pre-prepared, assembled fare, long waits, poor value for money, etc... Very disappointed with the restaurant. This is also why I chose to have breakfast elsewhere. Overall, the establishment is not described accurately on the Logis website: it's not a hotel per se, but rather rooms for rent, combined with a bar/"restaurant". Knowing this, I would have chosen a different establishment. Finally, I would add that the bartender should receive training in customer service and hospitality.
Great welcome and accommodation! Evening stopover stay, excellent meal Small downside, breakfast to improve and everything will be perfect
very comfortable room overlooking the river with a view of the stone bridge
Smiling welcome and room that encourages you to travel and really makes you want to stay all week…
Everything was perfect but the breakfast at €15 for 2 croissants and a coffee and nothing else offered, it's horribly expensive

Once you've climbed the spiral staircase, you're rewarded with a very bright and pleasant suite.
