Restaurant la Maison du Lac

A perfect experience from beginning to end. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Maison du Lac. Everything was absolutely perfect! The welcome: Warm, friendly, and highly professional. We immediately felt welcome. The amenities: The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and the services offered are of high quality. The surroundings: The setting is simply magnificent, peaceful, and ideal for recharging. A big thank you also for all the little touches that make all the difference and make the stay unforgettable. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are quite decent, and the breakfast is too, but the meal… An evening meal costing €129 where they offer you a starter, a main course, or a main course and dessert, with a mixed salad as the main course, is completely unacceptable. I'm used to staying in Logis de France hotels, and this is the first time I've seen a restaurant with so few choices and exorbitant prices: €19.50 for an average salad and €9 for 3 scoops of ice cream. In short, if I return to this hotel, I won't eat there again, but since there's nothing around, I won't go back at all.

Leider war das Restaurant geschossen !!!! Nach 8 stündiger Fahrt wollte mein Mann nicht wieder mit dem Auto zu einem Restaurant fahren, was auch bedeuten würde nichts trinken (Wein) zu können.
Der Vorschlag sich eine Pizza vom Lieferdienst kommen zu lassen, war eine Zumutung.
Hätten wir gewußt, dass , hätten wir den gesamten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel storniert. das Restaurant geschlossen ist ( hatten auch k e i n e Mail dazu erhalten)

This hotel is the last word in tranquility and peace. The owners are busily improving what looks like it was a simple Auvergnat farmhousse with outbuildings, and doing to so to a high standard. They were helpful in every way and their chuisiniere did a very good job..

We had a great weekend at the lake house. The owners are charming and attentive. The pluses are the pool and the jacuzzi. I recommend this place.

Quiet hotel with a pool, but no umbrellas. Pleasant park and the possibility of walking along the lake. Possibility of dining on the terrace. On the other hand, the menu is limited, very expensive for what it offers, and the staff is unprofessional.

It was a stay like paradise, quiet but super relaxing with the pool. The building is beautiful and well-maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent, beautifully presented and freshly prepared regionally… Simply an all-around fantastic stay😊

The grounds were lovely and peaceful. We even managed to use the pool and jacuzzi in mid October! Bed was comfortable and the room spacious . The dining room looks onto the garden . We only had a fixed menu with no choice which was a little disappointing . Breakfast was simple. Excellent for staying with a dog and not far off the main road if en route and want a stopover.

Wonderful, such nice, friendly hosts, despite our rudimentary French language skills. Even the evening meal we had at short notice was just good. Honest, no-frills cooking, like your mother's. Highly recommended

We chose this hotel, without knowing it, to stay near the PAL. We discovered a superb house, in a quiet place, in the middle of greenery. The welcome was perfect, everything was done so that we could enjoy the moment. Establishment that we recommend!

Wonderful place in nature, a moment out of time. Small downside for the room for 4 with a sofa bed which is a little small for 2 people.
