A very well-located hotel in Cormatin. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the small street and with air conditioning. The room was a bit small, especially when you have a lot of luggage for cycling trips. The welcome was good. A real plus was the waitress who livens up the place and is very friendly. The restaurant is good and the ice cream is excellent.

A simple hotel, but with everything you need and a warm welcome. Excellent value for money. The staff are fantastic and helpful. We had a wonderful time at the hotel and in the restaurant. The food is high quality, made with delicious, fresh ingredients. A real treat.

A perfect stay in every way, a charming hotel ideally located near the greenway and the magnificent Cormatin castle. The welcome was perfect, with kindness from both management and staff, who were helpful and very courteous to guests. The breakfast was perfect and varied, offering something for everyone, both savory and sweet. The homemade meals served in a charming dining room were of very high quality. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

The welcome was rather cold; at the brasserie-style restaurant, the owner was complaining about the regular customers. The meal, meant for four people, was served in a saucepan placed on the table without being served. It consisted of two cherry tomatoes and two pieces of carrot as side dishes. The meat was good, but the portion was small for a €35 set menu.

We received a very warm welcome and our family room was spacious. We appreciated the air conditioning during this heatwave. The hotel is very well located near the cycle path, with the option to park bicycles in the garage. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. We were very satisfied with our stay.

How can we express how much we LOVED our stay at the Hôtel des Lys...it's simple, we added another night! The hotel is magnificent, the welcome incredible, the management and staff are very kind and always smiling. The room was perfect, very spacious with everything you need for an excellent stay. A warm, family-style welcome with pleasant simplicity

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hotel is quiet and located in a charming, old-fashioned little town. The rooms are spacious, very pleasant, clean, well-equipped, and air-conditioned. The hotel restaurant is perfect for an overnight stay and serves delicious dishes made with local and artisanal products. A full classic or continental breakfast is available. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer für 1 Nacht gebucht. Am Empfang meinte die Dame, dass sie nur noch 1 Zimmer hätten, das behindertengerecht sei. Uns störte es nicht - jedoch stank das Zimmer beim Betreten nach WC, das Zimmer war sehr alt, klein, nicht renoviert und ungemütlich - entsprach also überhaupt nicht dem Standard auf den Fotos der Homepage.
Ich beschwerte mich und bekam dann ein anderes Zimmer, das den Fotos entsprach.
Ich finde es eine Unverschämtheit, weil das Hotel denselben Preis für ein extrem miserables Zimmer verlangt hätte, wie für die anderen Zimmer. Die Dame verhielt sich nicht verständnisvoll, sondern genervt und nicht gastfreundlich.
Das andere Zimmer war besser ausgestattet, grundsätzlich sauber, nur ziemlich staubig unter dem Bett.
Meine Bewertung stellt ein Mix aus beiden Zimmer dar.

I arrived at 7:30 PM in the middle of a January night. I was driving at a snail's pace, but I didn't see the hotel because its facade wasn't lit. I had to retrace my steps on foot to make anything out. My room, number 101, was on the first floor, with no elevator and no help with luggage. The door creaked terribly. The room, while unremarkable in appearance, was large, but its space was poorly utilized. The desk was also large and well-lit. However, there was nowhere to put my suitcase, and instead of a bedside table, there was only a small shelf attached to the wall on one side of the bed, even though the bed was supposed to be for two people. The two electrical outlets in the room were very poorly placed. There wasn't one near the desk or the headboard. The only trash can was in the bathroom. A plus was the toilet being completely separate from the bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was also a plus. When I woke up at 7:30 this morning, I was unpleasantly surprised to find the bathroom water remained cold, even after leaving it running for a long time. I had to wash my face with cold water. On the other hand, I was satisfied with dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet had everything I needed, both sweet and savory, and even Earl Grey tea. The rustic decor of the dining room was tasteful.

Spacious room. Comfortable bedding. Rustic charm decor in an old building. Very good breakfast. Very pleasant welcome and service. The only downside is the carpet in the room, which is not suitable for people with allergies.

A charming and well maintained authentic hotel situated in a pleasant village. We felt very comfortable - starting the day off in a nice atmosphere with a nice breakfast was very pleasant.. You will find a very nice choice of freshly prepared meals and a good selection of beverages - and a lovely choice of ice-cream. Having a drink on the terrace was so nice and relaxing. A very pleasant experience we have enjoyed a lot.

Great location, charming old house, very pleasant restaurant, top-notch food and service. The problem with room 110: tiny bathroom, very difficult access to the shower (you have to wriggle!!!!) unacceptable in a 3☆. Too bad, I would gladly return to this establishment, provided I had another room!!!! In addition, there was no electrical outlet near the bed, and I have a respirator, and I wouldn't have been able to use it.
