Great hotel in lovely surroundings. We have stayed here several times over the last few years and will return again! Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the restaurant serves excellent, home cooked and produced delights. The individual brioche loaves served at breakfast are wonderful. Very friendly staff who are attentive but discreet.
thoroughly enjoyed it
A truly royal stay, a top-notch welcome! A huge thank you again for this wonderful stay.
The perfect hotel! Love it! Great hosts - so committed to their craft and care for their guests. Our room was large and just beautiful; it was very quiet and very comfortable.
Dinner was delicious - 7hr cooked lamb, such a treat and an excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Breakfast was a joy on waking - apple juice from the orchard, luscious hen’s egg and home baked brioche a work of art.
And really interesting talks to the brilliant hosts.
Thank you so much! Un tres grand Merci !
Lovely peaceful spot. Large rooms, Super food and welcoming staff.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and the excellent service.
Excellent experience, superb room 4 and superb food, including the overnight stay. Thank you.
A splendid place, the rooms are very comfortable and tasteful. The restaurant is excellent, even the bread and pastries are made on site... and above all the staff is very welcoming, smiling and professional. A very good address
It was recommended by several people and it lived up to its reputation. Would not hesitate to stay here again
Beautiful location, comfortable characterful room, very friendly helpful staff and above all superb food
I was disappointed with the meal. Pork terrine and dessert were very good, but the main course was more than average. Pork belly, mostly fat with a little meat around it, beans and turnips undercooked. Too bad because the sauce was good...
2 Night stay on a recommendation from a friend. This is more a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel with restaurant as the food quality is much better than many hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was excellent at 40e pp. The room was a standard classic and was large with a big bathroom with walk in shower and very comfortable bed. There were areas to sit outside and are garden areas. The owner, Dina, was really friendly and speaks excellent French or English. I will certainly return on my next French trip.
Incredible stay! Wonderful hotel, amazing food! We will be back again!
Very impressive room and very good food in the restaurant
The homemade brioche (at least it looks like it) is to die for. A very pleasant, quiet stroll through the village before going to bed.
A very good time in a magnificent location (castle), a beautiful room and excellent evening and morning meals. We will be back.
We stayed one night heading north to Calais and home. Very quietly situated in lovely countryside. The owners are delightful as were all the staff we met. We had a relaxed and enjoyable dinner with some interesting options available and a good wine list. Breakfast was classically French and was largely their own produce, bread, jam, apple juice etc. The bed was very comfy and the room had a good shower. The room was clean, tidy and fairly basic but had everything you needed.
Nothing to report
Top quality service and products, with peace and quiet and a pretty wooded park.
very good address good meal served with fresh local products
Wonderful breakfast and dinner made from home or locally sourced products and all prepared/cooked on site. Wonderfully skilled and welcoming owners.

This hotel provides an excellent experience. Everything is done right.
Lovely, welcoming hotel; clean, comfortable, excellent food.
Very nice location and restaurant

We stayed for one night when the hotel had a special menu, Côte de Boeuf. This was not the reason for our stay, but it was the only food choice available that night so we decided to accept, and it was a little underwhelming unfortunately. The menu was too heavily meat-biased, with a terrine to start, followed by bone marrow and then the beef, which was rather flavourless. Really I would have expected a better considered menu and better quality ingredients given the price, but I would be interested to try the restaurant again when it has a normal menu.
Our room (5), although spacious, was very basic and in need of refurbishment, especially the shower base and the paintwork. Everything felt a little shabby and again I would have expected better for the price.
On the plus side the staff were all lovely and the location is fabulous - we really enjoyed our visit despite the negative aspects, and have not ruled out returning. But, we stay in a lot of hotels and I would say the price/quality ratio is not quite up to scratch here.
