A superb hotel in a romantic village. Very warm welcome, beautiful room, and a very good restaurant.

I had booked 4 rooms for former colleagues who were used to traveling. They appreciated both the location and the service of the hotel. There were 9 of us for dinner, which everyone equally enjoyed.

We stayed one night at this hotel and also had dinner. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the dinner was very good. There is also a nice little outdoor pool.

We come regularly and are always very satisfied: a very warm welcome, excellent and attentive service, comfortable beds, beautifully furnished and equipped rooms. In short, a true recommendation if you want to spend one or more nights in this beautiful wine-growing region. The cuisine leaves nothing to be desired: regional products, diverse, something for every taste. A visit to the restaurant is also worthwhile! We would be happy to come back anytime. Excellent welcome, very clean establishment and very friendly owner.

We had a large family celebration at the Hotel Keimberg. We received a lot of help with the complicated setup in the hall, without which it wouldn't have been so successful. Within an hour, the hall, which had been a lecture hall for 90 people, was transformed into a dining room for everyone. And the food was typically Alsatian and excellent. The service was good. Everyone was helpful, uncomplicated, and generous. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel, very clean, with a magnificent swimming pool! Check-in time too late and check-out too early! Too bad about the frozen pastries at breakfast!

Absolutely recommendable

Compared to other hotels in Alsace, the price-performance ratio was not adequate. The rooms were not yet finished, specifically: there were no pictures or similar items on any of the walls, even though the hanging devices were installed. The pool area was not OK, specifically: loose stone slabs, lots of weeds.

We had some great days

We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel because of the excelent room, service and food. And also the beautiful village of Cleebourg. We were also lucky that the weather was great, so we also enjoyed a swim in the pool.

We chose this lovely little hotel, including a very good restaurant (see below), located in the tranquil town of Cleerbourg (near Wissembourg) as a base for some lovely bike tours in northern Alsace. Our hotel room was very comfortable (new bathroom, spacious bedroom, good beds), and the restaurant is (more than) worth recommending: we ate dinner there three times and were impressed each time by the quality of the food (regional Alsatian dishes, always fresh and perfectly prepared... you're happy to wait a little longer for that) and the attentive service. All in all: a top address and recommendation if you like authentic country dining without (too) much frills.

It was a nice hotel. We had a good room with good beds and a bathroom with enough space. And an excellent dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast outside on the terrace.

Hotel Keimberg is een keurig hotel in het historische stadje Cledbourg. Wij waren met twee motoren, die we netjes aan de kant van de weg onder de bomen konden parkeren. Vanuit onze ruime kamer hadden wij er direct zicht op. Van het ontbijt en diner hebben wij genoten. De beide dames, die de gasten eten en drinken brengen, doen hun uiterste best om het ons met humor naar de zin te maken. Voor een verblijf van e kele dagen een aanrader!

Superb hotel! It's simple, everything is perfect... down to the smallest detail: welcome, quality of the bedding and materials, catering... Appreciated after 4.5 hours of cycling in the heart of the magnificent wine-growing landscapes of northern Alsace. Worth the detour!!!

The hotel and restaurant are consistently highly recommended. The warm welcome, the impeccable service, the tastefully furnished rooms that immediately make you feel at home, the delicious, carefully prepared cuisine—everything was, as with our previous stays, simply perfect. We always feel very comfortable and will definitely return.

Very nice hotel and impeccable cleanliness. Warm welcome in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Very high quality bedding. Refined meal and good value for money.

The suite perfectly matched the expectations and the images. The staff is very welcoming. The setting is beautiful; to enjoy the view, you have to be on the 2nd floor. If you are on the 1st, you will be entitled to a safari immersion, with its ambient noises to lull you. You could hear the elephants walking and the toddlers screaming. So I was able to test the reception, which is very responsive. However, no commercial gesture was offered to me for this inconvenience.

A beautiful hotel in an idyllic location with *comfortable!* beds and sensationally good pillows (a rarity). We were given a very friendly welcome - even in fluent German! The evening meal and the wines were delicious. Vegetarians, however, have a rather limited selection. The breakfast buffet included three different very tasty types of bread, jam and honey without plastic, fresh fruit, salami, ham, cheese, juices, puff pastry... We thought it was very good. PS: this evaluation form is a bit strange: stars are deleted when you scroll. I've scrolled back up twice now and added stars, but I don't know if they're still there after I sent it.

Family-run hotel, very nice rooms, very friendly staff and excellent cuisine.

Large, beautifully furnished rooms, great food, everything from tarte flambée to beef fillet is recommended. The warmth with which guests are welcomed makes it a very pleasant and enjoyable overall experience. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks to the entire super-committed team!

Nice little hotel to stay overnight in Alsace or just to stay

The hotel is magnificent in the middle of the village of Cleebourg in the Alsatian style with fully restored half-timbering. A large dining room and its bar all in wood give it an authentic and warm appearance. A pretty sheltered outdoor terrace for sunny days where we have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our rooms were spacious and decorated with the same concern for authenticity as close as possible to nature using different woods, providing warmth and successful and very tasteful decorum. A large swimming pool area surrounded by a courtyard which serves as a terrace for some rooms with a comfortable and friendly summer lounge bench. Everything is beautiful, extremely practical and clean. We feel that the owners have attached themselves to details which make all the difference in this country style using the best materials to achieve it, bravo and thank you for your welcome and attention!

It would be nice to have some drinks in the minibar or the possibilty for a late drink at the bar.

To put it simply, we are shocked! We are experienced travelers. Therefore, we know that only some hotels accommodate a dog. But if you ask in advance for accommodation of your dog in your room and it is agreed, and then, on arriving the dog (and you) is refused (a little Yorkshire Terrier) than you get upset, especially when your are tired after having made a long journey. We'll never asked again to stay in this hotel despite the fact that Cleebourg is a nice village in Alsace.

We spent a pleasant weekend at the Keimberg hotel restaurant and we were indulgent in the very slow service... A slight disappointment for the restaurant which serves a veggie bowl mainly composed of raw vegetables... Dare to be creative with this type of dish!

We love Alsace with its friendly people and its good, regional, Michelin-star food. We found the hotel by chance. It is a little out of the way and therefore very quiet. However, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. the church bells ring every quarter of an hour. The furnishings in the guest rooms and rooms are very high quality and everything is tastefully decorated. The food was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There is also a pool, which was very pleasant in the warm weather. You can also sit on the terrace.

Some finishing touches to be done around the pool, too bad it's not very clean (lots of greenish marks on the bottom and on the shutter)

Hôtel magnifique tant de l’intérieur que de p exterieur. La chambre était toute neuve et spacieuse. Les propriétaires étaient super sympa et avenants. Petit déjeuner de qualité et de tout sale et sucré. La literie parfaite et l hôtel est calme. On a adoré on y retournera si on a l occasion.

Very nice service, a lovely welcome, we spent a very nice night, with a quality breakfast, all in a peaceful environment in the Alsatian countryside. While waiting to be able to enjoy the swimming pool and the restaurant during another stay.

This is the second year that we have stopped at Keimberg in Cleebourg during our cycling trip. The rooms are comfortable and the bedding is excellent. The hotel is sober and you feel very good there, it is tastefully renovated and uses beautiful materials. Everything is clean and very well maintained. The swimming pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of effort and what can we say about the restaurant: qualitative/inventive while giving pride of place to the terroir. Like the staff and owners, who take great care of their customers. We can only recommend this address.

Our room was very spacious and warm. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was excellent too. We had dinner at the hotel which I would recommend. The service and quality of the food was excellent. I had a filet steak which is up there with the best ever! Beautifully presented too. We drank the wine produced from the vineyard you can see from the hotel. Delicious! Happy to recommend this hotel in this quiet part of France.

We greatly enjoyed our stay (2 nights, 2 dinners) at Keimberg. Family hotel, remarkably renovated, in the heart of the charming village of Cleebourg. Away from traffic and a few meters from the vineyard and hiking trails. Cozy room, very good bedding, very nice bathroom. Very pleasant restaurant, including an impressive stammtisch. Tasty dishes and careful presentation. Large selection of wines by the glass. Very attentive service. Buffet breakfast that will delight gourmets. For us, a gem with very good value for money.
