The room needs a renovation, especially replacing the carpet…

Good hotel for a stopover, comfortable room and quality restaurant. Common areas leading to the rooms could do with a refresh, as could the carpet in the room (and less important but would be a plus, the exterior facade of the establishment).
The dinner was perfect but all the rooms need to be redone...it must be very difficult for them, especially with the quality of the cuisine and the lovely welcome.
The room's furnishings were sufficient for one night, but the bathroom's condition was catastrophic, with mold on the corners of the shower tray and tiles. Perhaps this was due to the name "Cheval Blanc." The evening meal was delicious, and the service very attentive and friendly. Breakfast wasn't exactly the finest; the sausages on offer were somewhat disgusting, and an indefinable mass was bubbling away in a pot. Luckily, there was butter and jam. A mass. The condition of the buildings is degraded. When we arrived we were very disappointed. But everything is very clean. The bedding is perfect and the room is spacious. It needs a serious refresh.

The photos of the facade on the website do not match. There is no terrace. The dilapidated state of the hotel is very disappointing compared to the photos presented. The furniture is aging and degraded. The bathrooms are covered in old limescale. We had requested a quiet room and were placed on the street side. No air conditioning, but there is a very noisy fan. As for the breakfast... It does not live up to the advertised price. In short, the overall experience is very mediocre.

It was very hot that day. There was no air conditioning in the room. It was over 30 degrees. There was a fan, though. But such heat is not conducive to sleeping.
