Good place to stay for the Verdon Gorges

We were traveling by motorcycle, and the hotel is centrally located near the Verdon and Provence Vert, and the Route de Napoleon is also not far away. It has excellent cuisine, good value for money, and friendly hosts. What more could you want? I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Bain.

Perfect for a getaway in the Haut Var

This was our second time staying at the hotel. It had a great location at the Grand Canyon. A beautiful historic hotel, friendly staff, and a very good room. Motorcycles could be parked in the garage. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, as expected.

Simple and effective, with a family atmosphere and consistently excellent meals. A must-see.

Excellent base for visiting the Verdon Gorges

A classic French village hotel. Simple straightforward welcome. We did not eat dinner at the hotel as we had prior arrangements elsewhere (a picnic at Bargème) but the menu and cooking smells were very promising. Good breakfast, comfortable and clean room.

Having set off on a five-day motorcycle road trip, this hotel-restaurant easily won the top spot on the podium, both for the quality of the bedding, the quality of the home cooking, the warm welcome filled with kindness, the kindness of all the staff who remain attentive to our needs. It's a perfect, calm and authentic place. I loved it.

It was a very comfortable stay . Room were very comfortable, my bike was able to be securely parked in the garage. Staff were friendly. A great town to do a little exploring.

Clean hotel with a good quality/price ratio, friendly staff, garage for the motorbike, the only flaw is that they don't speak Italian even though it is very popular with Italians. Restaurant with very good and abundant food, very normal prices. Recommended hotel.

Apart from the noise from the street (restaurant terrace under the window, street with cars/trucks passing by, church bells) in the middle of summer with the window open, nothing to say. Great hotel, great restaurant and great breakfast. Very well located in relation to the Gorges du Verdon. Good value for money

Very warm welcome, we were well informed by the staff

Simple, but clean accommodation, good accessibility to Canyon du Verdon, garage for bikes and motorcycles, good restaurant. But...
a dull and unwilling receptionist, who does not speak a single foreign language besides his native French, his colleague, an elderly lady, even more arrogant and unwilling. This completely spoiled our impression. We waited for more than 15-20 minutes to be served our drinks and every time we had to ask the bartender to bring us more. When we wanted to taste some French wine, it was served really warm and the lady just opened the bottle and left without saying anything or providing any wine serving culture. Really disappoining in the coutry of wine.

Superb hotel restaurant and very attentive staff

Very good establishment, superb local cuisine, beautiful cellar, charming staff, good bedding. The only downside is the coolness in the rooms. This could use a little heating.
