Séjour désagréable en soirée étape !!! J'avais réservé pour 3 nuits, mais tout de suite lors de mon arrivée j'ai demandé à modifier pour 2 nuits (accepté par le jeune réceptionniste)
Le dernier soir, lors de mon règlement, le réceptionniste n'arrive pas à me mettre les points Etik, le lendemain lors de mon départ, j'explique le problème au gérant (un homme désagréable qui m'avait prit la tête la veille car je me suis présenté à 19h27 pour manger alors que le service commençait à 19h30), celui-ci me prend limite à parti car j'ai annulé une nuit qui sois disant lui fait perdre 15%, suite à ce problème le Mr refuse de me charger ma carte etik...
Ensuite pour terminer, j'ai constaté olus tard dans la journée que j'avais oublié dans la chambre mon maillot de Foot (quasi neuf) une brosse à dent et un boxer, j'appelle de suite l'hôtel, la dame me répond qu'elle n'a pas le temps et qu'elle est en plein service, je rappelle le lendemain matin, le gérant m'explique qu'il est occupé et que je dois rappeler plus tard ... je décide d'aller directement à lhotel (40mn de route), arriver là-bas, le jeune réceptionniste m'explique qu'il ne peut rien faire pour les articles qui à priori ont disparu ...
Sinon pour la chambre, c'est le strict minimum, pas memeun ventilateur, même pire pas de volet mais uniquement 2 vieix rideaux (même pas occultants) alors que l'hôtel est situé au centre ville donc... lumière toute la nuit ... c'était compliqué de dormir ... oa salle de bain est vraiment plus de toute jeunesse...
Par contre le restaurant j'ai sincèrement trouvé bon et les 2 jeunes serveuses étaient vraiment sympathiques et couraient partout pour satisfaire les demandes des clients
Aging hotel in need of updating. The door which blocks the thickness of the carpet, no air conditioning and window overlooking the road, difficult to leave open, a lot of noise but due to people's lack of respect for their roommates. Plan to soundproof.
A very poor quality breakfast! unheard of!! limit foutage of mouth (no charcuterie, no egg, very low cost). on the site the parking is included in reality there are only two places for the whole hotel and in addition it costs 6€... bed with lots of hair and dusty room!!! quadruple room does not exist. No shower gel in the room and the same for toilet paper in short it's really disappointing.
Very pleasant hotel. The room is large enough and well appointed. The bed is comfortable, and there is enough in the bathroom. Very quiet room at the back and view of the Vienne. You can park easily on the street. We enjoyed the meal on a pretty terrace. Kind staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The only thing we found difficult was that there was no fan or air conditioning in our room and as it was very hot it made it very difficult to sleep.

Staff in the restaurant very nice, but not at all professional. Very noisy room with no air conditioning overlooking the street!! No parking as advertised .... I travel regularly and particularly choose lodgings which are often a great revelation, this one will not be part of it ...
Passing through Confolens, we booked this hotel for its setting and its 2 stars. Unfortunately this hotel does not deserve them. The positive point of this hotel is the restaurant, pleasant terrace, welcoming staff, and good and generous plates. As for the negative points, there are many... As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the managers of the establishment were not welcoming, the impression of disturbing them... When we arrived in the room, we noticed that the bottle of water provided has already been opened, a nauseating smell of sewage in the bathroom .... Catastrophic sound insulation (being on the first floor, we could hear at around 11 p.m. the noise of chairs, tables, surely during the cleaning of the room located on the ground floor, the doors slamming, people talking, the TV in the rooms next door...). So we had a first awakening at 7:10 a.m. with a door slamming, we try to go back to sleep but we hear the slightest noise from neighbors or from the ground floor and many doors slamming.... we manage to go back to sleep and we are woken up by a fire alarm. Worried, my spouse is worried and goes out into the hallway where the manager tells him that it's nothing even before the door of the room concerned is opened, the alarm lasts 5min. Regarding breakfast, I had asked until what time breakfast was served and I was told that between 10:30 and 11 a.m. it was still possible), we arrive at breakfast at 10:30 a.m. everything was tidy, we were brings out a basket of pastries with 2 pains au chocolat and 1 croissant (not even 2 pastries per person and lower quality), we could not have coffee because a part of the machine was missing, very little choice... It's not worth its price. We go to the reception to settle the bill (restaurant, tourist tax) because we had already paid the reservation online on booking. The manager prints us the total invoice with the price of the room... We specify to him that one has already paid on line and affirms to us that no, nothing is paid. We assure him the opposite, so he goes to check... He comes back to us without any excuse, saying that it's an internet reservation and that it's been paid for and issues us the new invoice. No excuses, no good manners, no politeness, the most important thing when you run a hotel is to appreciate customer contact, I think this is not the case with the manager of this establishment! To sum up, for the restaurant, I recommend it to you on the condition of falling on the employees rather than the managers and for the hotel part, run away.....! PS: I attach a photo of what we find in the rooms which is very contradictory with reality, it would be better to put nothing.!!

Excellent location. Good dinner on the terrace. Private covered parking. Home rather slow because the same person took care of the bar and the reception of the hotel. Pleasant room but problems with the bathroom - impossible to close the shower door and not enough space to use the sink. So avoid room 2!
Excellent overnight stop. Met expectations of a Logis: simple but decent hotel with good restaurant. Lovely view from room over the river and from the restaurant terrace. Found a parking space right outside. Good central location in old town centre.
To regularly go to this type of hotel (price range, comfort, size of the city) I was a little disappointed by the delivery of breakfast, a lack of choice among the proposals for savory dishes, jam in plastic trays while we expect a "local" jam, in short, an unsuitable value for money, I also mentioned it when paying the bill.
The room we had was tired, the bathroom had been renovated. There wasn't an extractor in the bathroom or a window.... The room was very hot, really needed AC.
The restaurant of the hotel was great, lovely open air dinning, great food and service. The breakfast was basic.
I would use the restaurant again, but maybe not stay there.
The evening stopover meal was not great. Fish arrived almost cold. With watery tastes. After asking it was not fresh but frozen. Honestly not great.
Noise in the street on Saturday night
Good location. Room a little tired but bathroom excellent with all new fittings. Comfortable stay for 1 night.
Wonderful location, very relaxed, staff great, room was a little warm through the night however it is summer!

Unfriendly owner
The hotel bar man was lovely and really welcoming. The hotel room it’s self was very dated and dirty the bathroom had black mould in the shower and the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was uncomfortable the pillows are well past their best and you can hear everything that is going on in the room next door as the walls are paper thin.
When we arrived for breakfast (about 8.30) there was 2 croissant left and some bread that’s it which cost us €18.00 for 2!
Would not recommend and would not stay again
For the dinner my ceasar salad was good, the pizza of my husband was very bad!

Un bémol sur l'éclairage trop puissant dans la chambre et la petitesse de la télé.
Il manquait également le produit pour la douche.
L'insonorisation est inexistante, on entend la salle depuis le 2ème étage. La literie est fatigué et la gestion du chauffage est catastrophique...
Genial host ,staff were great. Secure parking for our motorcycles.on site bar and restaurant were perfect for our needs.
