Excellent place, everything went perfectly!

I've been coming to this hotel for years. There must be a reason, right?

All the dishes are simply excellent, whatever they may be, from fish to meat, including breakfast.

A very warm welcome, spacious room and excellent bedding. A delicious breakfast served in a magnificent restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake.

Having passed through Embrun several times, I must say that this establishment is one of the best in the area, both for its welcome, its food, and its value for money. We will certainly return in the warmer months for a longer stay.

We rented two rooms. One, renovated, was very pleasant. The other was in an unacceptable state for a Logis hotel: very run-down, a leaking toilet that couldn't be turned off because the tap just spun, a large amount of mold on the bathtub grout, extremely glaring bedside lamps, and, to top it all off: a kettle provided, but one that had to be placed on the floor because there was no other outlet. I won't even mention the lack of a restaurant on Sunday evening, which was indeed mentioned on the website but only offered in an email a week before our arrival; the excuse given upon arrival, "it's an automated email," was enough to spoil the welcome, as if no one was responsible for the emails… In short, it's a shame. Furthermore, we weren't given the Wi-Fi code. And to top it all off, the first restaurant recommended in the village was a poor little betting shop! While just 100 meters away, there's a family-run restaurant with homemade dishes…

The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. They also gave me advice on nearby hikes and restaurants. The hotel is very pleasant, located on the shores of Lake Serre-Ponçon, with a beautiful view from my room and the dining room. My room was comfortable and well-appointed. I had dinner one evening at the restaurant and it was very good. A very nice place!

We just spent 2 days in this establishment, a very nice experience. The setting is magnificent, the heated pool is great. The room is good with very good quality bedding and pillows for a restful sleep after the day's activities. The only downside is the tiny bathroom, we spoke about it with the manager, he is aware of it, but it was impossible to do otherwise, it was the work of the previous owner and no longer possible to modify, only 4 rooms have this small inconvenience. The management and all the staff take great care of the customers, here the word kindness has all the meaning it deserves. Thank you to Adam for his kindness and his sense of humor. As for the restaurant, a small menu that augurs very good quality homemade dishes and desserts, I loved the Eden burger... We found our place to stay during our next visit to the region.

A welcome that is always so pleasant. All the employees are smiling (including the managers). Some tourist accommodation employees could do an internship at Eden Lac. In case of early arrival (off season) it is always possible to get your room back. The setting is magical. The meal is very affordable and the quality too. We have already been there and we will come back.

PERFECT!!! We had a VERY good stay. The welcome was impeccable. EVERY member of the team was smiling, polite, and attentive... The hotel is very well located. The rooms are very clean, and the pool with a view of the lake is very pleasant. We had a great time, morning and evening ; ) We will be back with great pleasure. (Special mention for LUKA: extremely professional). Bravo to the management.

The exteriors are nice but the room is no longer up to date and is getting old.

Staying at Eden Lac every year for the past 6 years, although some rooms are quite simple, the service is impeccable. I recommend the half-board option where the meals are varied and of good quality.

Mediocre room for the price, frayed bedspread, old furniture. Positive: the view of the lake. We did not have breakfast because the breakfast was overpriced at 14 euros!!! I do not recommend it.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Magnificent view of the lake, clean and well-equipped swimming pool (shower, toilet, deckchairs and parasols). Very friendly welcome. Room quite small but nicely decorated with a view of the lake, equipped with a ceiling fan and tea and herbal tea facilities. Quality bedding. Bathroom with shower and toilet, well decorated and equipped, a small downside however concerning the location of the toilet, leaving little room for the legs and therefore making its use uncomfortable. Garden furniture with a view of the lake for an aperitif. Quality restaurant with very friendly staff. Very good full breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice. We will come back with pleasure.

No water pressure in the shower, no hot water, no air conditioning. The only good thing is the view. I travel quite a bit, and this hotel doesn't deserve its three stars; one would be okay.

Room too small and what about the bathroom? No air conditioning. Excellent staff. Clean.

My husband and I had the misfortune of being accommodated in room "103" at the same rate as the others. We do not understand how this room can be offered to customers. It is impossible to pass each other while going around the bed, but above all it is the size of the shower room which is inconceivable... forced to sit at an angle on the toilet because there is not enough leg room and I am only 1.60m tall... to access the small shower from another time, you have to pass between the toilet bowl and the wall... I could make a long list of things that were wrong with this room. On the other hand, we would like to recognize the kindness of all the staff, the quality of the cuisine and the breakfast.

Very friendly welcome. Swimming pool and meal at the top. Magnificent setting. Only small downside: the size of the bathroom. We recommend without reservation.

We were treated to a small room with all the amenities. Plus, from the window you have a view of the lake and the pool. A small shaded area to relax in with a view of the lake. Just one thing, but I think it's in the process of being fixed, is the mini golf. Looking forward to it.

This hotel is begging for a full restoration, the service is ok, The food is ok.
In our room, we could not sleep because of the noise from the wind.
search a good experienced hotel manager, do what he or her say and everything will be ok.

We have wonderful memories of our week-long stay. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and cheerful. A very generous breakfast and very good quality food. The pool offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.

The food is excellent. The rooms could be better laid out (bathroom door slightly obstructed by the radiator, toilet door doesn't close properly, pillow too bulky, hot water takes a very long time to arrive), but they are still acceptable. The nearby swimming pool is a great feature.

A young, dynamic, professional, and helpful team. A very good breakfast and restaurant. We had to request a change to our reservation at the last minute, but the management was understanding and very accommodating.

This is not an experience, I have been to this hotel several times and I am always satisfied so I will come back. For those who are permanently dissatisfied I recommend the Carlton or the campsite

The room's location overlooking the pool and the lake is very nice! The room would benefit from a small table to put your open suitcase on and a fan for the bathroom.

We were given room 23, which should be avoided (room 22 next door must be identical). It is ridiculously small, it is difficult to walk around the bed, there is no storage space, the mattress (140x190...) is sagging, the bathroom is tiny, these two rooms are set apart from the others, accessed through the back of the restaurant or through the staff and delivery entrance!!...we cut our planned 4-night stay short to just one...it is unworthy of a Logis de France and a 3-star hotel...it is shameful to offer such a room for 120 euros. It is a shame because the hotel itself is pleasant and the view of the lake is very nice. The breakfast buffet is very good, 14 euros anyway, so it is best to take advantage of it. In short, move on if you don't want to spoil your vacation.

The location is fabulous. The reception staff are super professional. The annex is lovely, perhaps in need of a bit of updating, but it's right by the pool with a fantastic view!

We spent 5 days in a beautiful, very relaxing setting and enjoyed the really pleasant pool every morning. The only downside was the lack of a fridge in the room, but Franck kindly offered us the use of the bar fridge, and the whole team is very friendly and helpful. We would happily return.

Total relaxation. A hotel on a human scale. Unique views of the lake, as the hotel is located high up, and it takes three minutes to reach the lake. In the evening, several small outdoor lounges await you in the park under the stars and umbrella pines. A true delight.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is friendly. I regret the lack of air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan, but we were unable to get it to work.

Hotel without air conditioning which is not suitable for the high temperatures at the end of June and proximity to the road which makes it difficult to sleep with the windows open. Very good food and very welcoming staff. Very nice view. Shaded terrace. Try it in another season.

Very beautiful view of the Serre-Ponçon lake, restaurant and breakfast at the top. What a shame that the bathroom is 70s style and the room decor is quite old-fashioned! As a result, the price is rather high.

Very warm welcome, we were accompanied by my dog, a golden retriever. The dog was given an arrival gift (treats in a cute little package) not to mention all the cuddles.. The fact that they accept dogs is a plus!. Well-located hotel and attentive staff. I highly recommend

The hotel was very clean, very quiet, and the restaurant was excellent. Perhaps the bathroom could be updated, with a shower instead of a bathtub, and especially the faucets... We had a very pleasant stay.

Very disappointed by this hotel which does not deserve its 3 stars: the bedding was torn, the supports and the sink plug were rusty, the bottom of the bathtub was completely worn and its faucets were wobbly. To use the kettle, it had to be placed on the floor to connect it because the cord was too short. As for the television, you can't get any smaller. The only good surprise was the good food!

Loved our stay here. Beautiful views across the lake. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Waiter at dinner was very efficient and the food was great. Loved the Fondue. Would definitely recommend.
