Pleasant stay, well located

It was very pleasant, just what I was looking for.

I went to this hotel based on good reviews, particularly regarding the quality of the bedding. I think I ended up with the old bedding, which was very uncomfortable! And to top it off, the bathroom tap splashed water! Fortunately, the reception and the food were good.

Everything went very well. A very warm welcome, I greatly appreciated the quiet night and the very comfortable mattress. The homemade meal was excellent.

A wonderful discovery! Here, everything hinges on one thing: the professionalism of the team. And frankly, the two brothers who run this establishment are truly exceptional. It's the complete opposite of a chain hotel. It's a small, family-run business, simple, unpretentious, and without any frills. But that's precisely what makes it so charming. The bedding is comfortable, but the real highlight is the food. The dishes are truly excellent. I have dietary restrictions and had several special requests, particularly for meals. Each time, the team was able to adapt without making it complicated. The chef was also very accommodating regarding breakfast, especially with my preference for savory options. It's simple, efficient, and above all, very helpful. The breakfast is also very different from what you find in large chains: no oversized buffet or abundance of products, but high-quality, delicious items. One small drawback, however, concerns the room: it could use a little updating, and air conditioning would be truly appreciated, especially during the hottest periods. In my opinion, these are the two things that could further improve the comfort of the stay. So let's be clear: if you're looking for luxury, designer style, or the standardized amenities of a chain hotel, this is definitely not the place for you. But if you're looking for a family-run, authentic, warm, and unpretentious place where you're welcomed almost like family, then go for it. For me, what I'll remember most is the staff who truly understand the importance of service. And these days, that's worth a lot.

We arrived after the restaurant had already closed for lunch. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach anyone by phone, so we passed the time in the nearby park. After two hours, we finally got through. N

Geweldig leuk hotel. Schone en absoluut mooie kamers. Eten in het restaurant is een aanrader. Heerlijk was het en voor een goede prijs. Wij hadden twee maal een voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht, uitgebreide kaasplank, 2 koffie, 2 wijn, 2 bier, 1 cola voor 61 euro. En de kwaliteit was echt bijzonder goed.

A small, simple, and unpretentious hotel. One small drawback: there's no air conditioning in the room yet, so in hot weather, the temperature remains high, despite the fan. The restaurant offers a good menu at a ridiculously low price. A great place. I might go back!

Excellent price/quality! Nice cute hotel in a charming village. Very friendly staff. Basic, but very clean. Good food but no gastronomy (full menu is only 18eur, wine . Basic breakfast (not allot of choice) but with excellent bread and croissants! I will definitely return.

Very short overnight stay, late arrival and early departure. Did not really had the time to enjoy the facilities. But was perfect for it's purpose.

Very nice typical French hotel in small town, good breakfast and the menu of the restaurant is very good.
We like to stay here on our way to Belgium or Spain, near to the highway and very friendly staff.

Even though the hotel managers are friendly and quite accommodating, I can't let it go that, firstly, no one is there to greet you at 5 pm, you have to get the keys from a coded box, and secondly, in the middle of winter when it's 7°C, you arrive in an unheated room. Price isn't everything; there should also be a certain level of basic amenities. The radiator finally turned on two hours later. I was looking forward to a nice hot shower after a long day of travel, but there was no hot water either because too many people had showered at the same time! Sorry, but no thanks, I almost left. Otherwise, dinner was good (and hot ;-)) and breakfast was nothing special, but given the price, it's hard to ask for more. In conclusion, I was probably just unlucky, but I don't recommend it.

Very good budget hotel

Arrived at 7:30 PM, convenient parking right across from the hotel. The room was decent and recently renovated. The bedding was a bit too soft for my liking. Dinner was adequate, although there aren't many restaurants open nearby. Breakfast was very basic. A good hotel for an overnight stay.

A very nice surprise at this hotel in a charming town near Châlons-sur-Saône. We arrived at night. Very friendly welcome, and the owner was accommodating with the keys. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant. Very nice modern decor combined with old-fashioned decor.
