A little help from the manager to find and carry our suitcase would have been appreciated. The breakfast coffee and fruit salad were not to be eaten!

As always, the Hotel Restaurant Du Mouton is a very good address in Ribeauvillé. Excellent and friendly service. Absolutely top-notch cuisine and wines.

The hotel is very well located, with a quaint, clean, and comfortable building. The reception staff was unpleasant and rude. Information about parking in the area was limited, in poorly pronounced English, and with an annoyed attitude. A very unpleasant experience, which undermines the overall experience.

Op moment van aankomst was de receptie gesloten maar er was vooraf voldoende gecommuniceerd hoe we het hotel konden binnengaan. Zonder probleem konden we het hotel binnengaan. De kamers, waar er een hemels zacht bed op ons wachte, waren netjes en alle info voor WIFI.... was gemakkelijk te vinden. Ook ons hondje werd in de watten gelegd, kussen en kommetje stonden klaar alsook een snoepje. S' morgens een super ontbijt met een ruime keuze en verse producten. Kortom, prima.

A warm welcome and family feel at this wonderful hotel. As welcoming of us 7 motorcyclists as well as couples and families. A great dinner - no need to look elsewhere in Ribbeauville and a lovely wine recommendation from the boss.

Very good dinner and wine selection. Rooms with a view of the square are lovely, especially the one with the whirlpool tub. But beware: There's a "Chambre Twin Comfort" that does have a window, but this window faces a very small space (1m?) directly against a concrete wall, which barely lets in any daylight, making it feel like a windowless room. And unfortunately, this isn't mentioned in the room description :-(

Passing through for a stopover evening... very beautiful establishment in the middle of a very beautiful Alsatian setting... Splendid room, decorated with excellent taste. Very good food and impeccable service. I highly recommend it!

An amazing accommodation, incredibly tastefully decorated to reflect 'French village' décor. After a long drive nothing better than the bath in my ENORMOUS room, a great glass of wine and 'table d'hôte' dinner.

A workout in the fully equipped Pilates space in the morning was a perfect kick start to a long drive to my next hotel.

Highly recommend staying - Julie goes out of her way to make sure everything is incredible and the bed linen is incredible, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep

We had booked two rooms, but only one had been reserved. However, it was eventually sorted out after some time, and we were given some nice rooms. That said, the rooms were advertised as having air conditioning, but it was not turned on, even though it was 40°C outside!
On the other hand, the price for the stay was very reasonable.

A very warm welcome immerses you in the spirit of an Alsatian home. The bedding is of the highest standards, the amenities are very reasonable, and the whirlpool bath really adds that little extra to the experience. The hotel's restaurant is very gourmet and affordable. I highly recommend it!

A very nice, well-appointed room with interesting amenities available such as a minibar, a coffee machine and a spacious shower as well as a long mirror. The mattress was very comfortable, which is generally complicated for me who has back pain most of the time. We just had some difficulty operating the towel dryer due to our inexperience😂Breakfast with choice and good quality products. Very good consideration from the staff regarding my gluten intolerance as a celiac (of course it is imperative to inform the hotel of this type of restriction in advance so that it is possible for the managers to adapt and prepare for the arrival). And of course, top-notch staff!

The owners of the hotel are very welcoming and professional with a high degree of attention to detail. Food and service in the dining room are excellent; reservations are advised as the place fills up, even in a weeknight.

Great welcome

It was a very nice experience by staying a few days at the hotel, The staff was very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and a well-equipped and tastefully decorated bedroom.

Negative note: putting a courtesy tray seems nice to me and should send a message, which is far from being the case, glasses and cups already served, the touch of the plastic bag at Bredzeel does not send a message of warmth!!

Disappointed by the breakfast which was not up to the standard of the establishment. No boiled eggs. Little choice of breads and pastries, no kouglof, which is a shame in Alsace so close to Christmas!

Extremely difficult to find a negative point following our stay except perhaps, the difficulty in finding a parking space in Ribeauvillé. The end of year holiday period does not help matters but with a lot of patience, luck and good shoes, we find…

Very comfortable hotel, very well appointed and well located in the historic heart, easy to access. Ideal to fully enjoy the Christmas market. Room and restaurant also of very good quality. Experience to be repeated without any hesitation!

Only one disappointment but it leaves a bitter taste. TV broken, no channel to follow the news of the moment (however important) in view of my activities. Management aware and no "compensation". For a three-star, the management could have not charged the dog supplement for example.... Far from me to be 15 euros near BUT, I paid for an incomplete service. I left them 367.40 €.

Reservation made well in advance; Booking.com sent us numerous emails confirming it; 3 days before I received an email from booking.com confirming my reservation (overnight stay + breakfast + dinner for 2 people), I read it, then.... during the day another email from Booking.com, an email that I did not read, was supposed to inform me shortly before my arrival at this hotel that this establishment would not provide us with dinner!!!! ... theoretically / officially for technical problems while the following week, they will open for the Christmas markets without any problem.... Arrived on site, the day of our reservation, at the scheduled time, we were received coldly by a "lady" who presented us with the fait accompli "No dinner for you tonight; I have no other restaurants to recommend to you... I could not contact you ...", while they had our email and our telephone number.... this is what we call "lack of empathy and commercial spirit".... they did not seem to appreciate that we went through Booking.com for our reservation.... So let's be careful with this establishment which did not know how to provide a reception worthy of a good Alsatian restaurant, which did not know how to make a commercial gesture!!! We wish them and their staff a good week of vacation before the Christmas markets!

€180 for the first night plus €110 for dinner (without presenting a menu card) was a bit hard to swallow. In fact, for the 2nd and 3rd dinners we asked for the menu. In summary: three nights, six breakfasts, six dinners and drinks (modest for 3 days) for a bill of €936 for a couple, it's not cheap. I'll let everyone decide.

For six or seven years now, we have enjoyed returning to the Mouton hotel restaurant, once or twice a year. It was a real favorite, from the first meeting with the Lehmann family: the welcome is warm, the services are impeccable, the restaurant very gourmet, the quality-price ratio very correct. To do again at any time, as long as we feel like making this trip of some 450 km from our home in the (very lower) Rhineland of Germany to the Alsace of Haut-Rhin.

Located in the middle of the town, Hotel du Mouton is a very clean and comfortable stay, with a very hospitality owner.We have a great breakfast with the best coffee and fresh, local and seasonal products. Dinner was amazing, in a romantic atmosphere, perfect drinks and wine with a very good kitchen that makes you happy and you want to come back. And we will come back soon. It rained a lot during our stay so we asked to meet somewhere in the hotel with our friends who stayed at the same hotel to play cards. No luck. We should go to a tee salon in Ribeauvillé. This was very disappointing.

We have already seen a lot of food and we have been able to eat more and more with the wildest fruits we have to share with you. Please note that we do not have to worry about coffee or coffee. Ich hatte 2 suiten für uns gebucht, sehr geräumig und mit 2 Fenstern zum Platz de la Sinne auf den Brunnen sehr hell. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, verschiedenen Brotsorten, Lachs etc. sehr zu empfehlen.

This is a hotel with a soul. Old-style renovations. Hotel with a lot of history and character, but also very comfortable.

An excellent experience for three days .... but the price of the room was also quite high .... But we can definitely recommend the Mouton hotel !! (Unfortunately, finding a parking space in Ribeauville is very difficult and almost a lottery.)

We have already found the key points of eleven chambers. The camera was stijlvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. The hotel is located midden in the dark places on Riquewihr and is on the other side of the parking lot (met mogelijkheden voor het opladen van elektrische voertuigen). Kortom: een erg fijn hotel!

Leider fällt das - eigentlich hervorragend renovierte - Hotel in der Qualität gegenüber dem Restaurant deutlich ab. Das hat meines Erachtens zwei Gründe: Zum einen wurden wir recht unhöflich behandelt. If you do not know what to do with the steering wheel, you will have to wait until the end of the day, and if you do so, you will have to do so. Einen freundlichen Empfang gab es nicht. When you hear a hint about the Check-In, you may have to pay any allergy you may have. Check-In is available at 5:00 p.m. Uhr and keine minute früher. Eine so späte Check-In-Zeit kenne ich nicht. If you were in the Gefühl, if you did so, it was the "Hausherrin" of the Hotels vorgibt. Zum zweiten: Das Frühstück ist nicht gut. Das Rührei kann man nicht essen. Die Eier muss man selber kochen. Das Brot war nicht wirklich frisch. Die Croissants waren gut. Es gibt so gut wie keine elsässischen Spezialitäten, was um so mehr überrascht, weil das Restaurant dafür ein perfekter Ort ist.

The rooms are freshly renovated in typical French style. Very clean and quiet during the night. During the day you are in the middle of the "buzz" of Ribeauville. We also enjoyed a good dinner with modern French dishes (asparagus from Alsace). The Mouton restaurant matures the meat on it own.

Our camera (number 7) does not have a perched aria in a semi-circular light and aria. The camera pressure is high and not suitable. The instruction does not work and the toilet loses access to the column.

Finding a parking spot was the only problem. Everythig else was fully satisfying.

As always, the hotel and the welcome were very friendly. Perfect location in Ribeauvillé. Lunch orderable. However, room No1 is quite small and suffers from the noise of the fan (from the refrigeration store?) at night. Sleeping with an open window is therefore painful. Small criticism....

Very pleasant stay in this small family hotel. The welcome is very warm and the room is a small cocoon, recently renovated and very clean. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for calm in a cozy environment.

Beautiful hotel where we like to come back for a short weekend. Perfect welcome, the staff takes great care.

Notre itinéraire de vol avait changé, donc nous avons essayé de changer le date de notre séjour. Malheureusement l'hôtel du mouton n'était pas agréable. Pas de changement, et l'argent gardée par l'hôtel. Il nous reste trois mois pour trouver un autre hôtel plus accueillent. Ne perdre pas votre argent chez eux.

Good Service, excellent Ambiente, good quality and high quality in the Restaurant. Einfach unübertrefflich und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Exceptional welcome from Tanguy and Catherine who are very pleasant and extremely kind and always take care of their customers. The services are of very high quality. Superb fountain view room for three people. The restaurant is remarkable. Two superb rooms with different decoration. Exceptional quality dishes. A culinary experience not to be missed. Homemade products. Imperial breakfast. Excellent value. We have stayed there every Christmas for several years. Don't look for any other hotel in Ribeauvillé, this is the one for you.
