Spectacular location, very friendly, kind, and helpful staff, very clean rooms, and adequate amenities for a 3-star hotel. We only stayed one night. The hotel itself is a bit dated, though some parts, like the restaurant and lounge, have been recently renovated. But the location, the view, and the incredibly helpful staff more than make up for it.

We were very well received and had a great stay at this hotel! 😊 My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed. The food was also excellent, and while the room wasn't luxurious, it was comfortable and pleasant. The biggest highlight was the location: the setting is absolutely incredible, with a magnificent view of the Verdon Gorge. An ideal place to enjoy nature and have a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful place, spectacular starry skies with the Verdon River flowing below. I recommend stopping here; the on-site restaurant is good and convenient, so you won't have to leave once you arrive.

A very warm welcome, a breathtaking view!

Beautiful setting and friendly welcome, but the hotel is aging, with many of the animated elements in poor condition. There was a sticky stain on the furniture. Really annoying! A nasty surprise was the lack of drinking water, forcing us to buy expensive bottled water. The restaurant, however, was good and the waiter was very friendly.

A spectacular view and a warm welcome. The view is spectacular! The hotel is very secluded, making it a perfect stopover for the night. The welcome is particularly pleasant. A tip: plan to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, as there's nothing else within an hour's drive. Fortunately, the food is excellent!

The hotel retains its original character, though improvements have been made (air conditioning and Wi-Fi). The location is excellent, with an incredible panoramic view of the gorges – a real feast for the eyes.

Friendly staff, beautiful setting, but the hotel is in dire need of renovation. The hotel doesn't have potable water; it would have been nice to find a bottle of chilled water in the room! This is supposed to be a three-star hotel!

A superb hotel! Fantastic location and very nice people. Great value. I have stayed in many hotels but this is the best, suited me perfectly, lovely room with balcony view into gorge and restaurant/ bar on site. Parking for my motorcycle out front. Perfect!

The hotel and its restaurant are in a fantastic location. Perched on a canyon wall, it offers breathtaking views of the Verdon. From the overhanging terrace, you can look out and admire the surrounding nature. A medium-low difficulty trail starts from the hotel, descending through the forest to the Verdon. Delicious dinners and excellent breakfasts. The very kind Contin, who also speaks Italian, continues the family tradition of creating this special place over the last century. We'll be back!

Worn bedding (mattress sags due to advanced wear), restaurant service a bit too pushy from the manager. I didn't understand the point of paying such a high half-board supplement if it meant not having access to the menus that are on the restaurant menu.

The place is magical, the room comfortable and clean. The service is friendly and dedicated. It's not a palace, but it's truly a unique place...at the end of the world, atypical and incredible! A timeless experience.

A warm welcome, even if a little late for a half-board stay, our dinner was waiting for us. Simple and effective local cuisine.

The location is magnificent in the Gorges de Verdon, the hotel is old, the room has lots of cobwebs on the ceiling, the staff is very friendly and kind, but it does not correspond to a 3***

The hotel is highly recommended for its magnificent and impressive view of the Verdon, the calm atmosphere, and the kindness of the staff. For the price, the amenities are a bit disappointing: small rooms, unrefined or unimaginative dishes, and a breakfast lacking in variety.

Great location, great value

A good hotel for us during a walk through the Verdon Gorge. It is a little dated but the rooms are a nice size, it is clean and met all our requirements. And it has a balcony with a magnificent view!
