I had a good room and fine dinner. The staff was very kind and I could have my pilgrim hiking clothes washed and dried.

The Hotel needs some care and attention - it is obviously old but the rooms need some work.

Deux points m'ont un peu déçu, mais sans gravité:
-La qualité de la literie, peu confortable et simple couverture pas suffisante (en épaisseur et en taille) pour ce qui me concerne.
-Le fait de devoir faire couler une très grande quantité d'eau avant que l'eau chaude n'arrive. Ca ne m'a pas dérangé d'attendre, mais il est dommage de devoir gaspiller autant d'eau.
Pour le reste, je recommande et renouvellerai mon séjour si mes déplacements m'amènent à nouveau dans la région.

Pleasant hotel, the room we had for 4 people had 2 bathrooms so very good, The restaurant serves traditional cuisine at a reasonable price. Their honey rabbit and their elderberry tart are a real treat, and the lunch is very hearty with homemade jams to discover. If we come back to the area we will return.

V nice welcome, terroir menu adequate. My husband's steak good, mine was v tough but sauce v good.
Cereal dispensers empty, croissant etc were v good.

Very good little Hotel , room as a little small and there was a lot of traffic noise as we were at the front , Had to have window open as no aircon.

Noisy location, tiny room at front above the 7am shutters going up. Bathroom not clean, unventilated & toilet & toilet brush disgusting. Bed had horrible waterproof mattress cover. No hair dryer. Below standard for a Logis, if there are standards

The decor in the room was dull and dated. It had no character. There was no shower , just an attachment which was too short. The room was literally full of large black flies. We got some spray from reception and they just dropped every where, including into my drink. We couldn’t open the window as more flies would enter the room. The dining room was also full of flies which was again “off putting”.

We received a warm welcome from Elise who made every effort to help us with our limited french and to accommodate my wife's gluten free dietary requirements, even preparing her a maize crepe at breakfast without us asking.
She was also remarkably kind in sending some personal items back to me in England that I inadvertently left behind.

A budget Logis but fits the bill for a stop over.

The stuffy air, the heat and the mess in the tabac bar were not encouraging. The room was small but acceptable.

We arrived at 4pm on a Wednesday after a long drive. The keys to the room were on the table in the reception but no one there to greet us. It subsequently transpired that the bar is closed on Wednesday although was open at 6.30pm for guests and evening meal. It would have been reassuring to have known this in advance. Otherwise a great stay and thanks to the fantastic lady who dealt with everything with a smile and good food

We arrived with three motorcyclists and no one was careless, the key was ready, they didn't arrive until half past seven, which was a shame, especially with the heat, no drinks

A simple inn run by 2 very pleasant ladies. The room was comfortable, quiet and had good a/c. The shower room was fine. The food is only served for a limited time but is good. The breakfast served proper croissants and pains au choc.

Very friendly welcome, nice dinner and breakfast, nice terrace in front at the bar tabac, which closes early. Very quiet environment. Laon, Reims and Chemin Des Dames easily accessible.

Very good dinner in the evening and very welcoming and friendly staff. To be improved, television with only two channels and breakfast (90% sweet). Too bad when you like salty.

This is my second stay and it fully confirms my initial comments. A good address, with a very good quality/price ratio, and where the meal is a very pleasant moment... for the rest, I refer you to the previous comments.

We enjoyed our stay in this friendly hotel, the parking was perfect for our rather large car, rooms are of an older style but spotlessly clean, dinner was plentiful, perfectly cooked food accompanied by local wine. This is not a flash establishment but if you want an overnight stay in a homely friendly place at very competitive rates I would highly recommend it.

Ideally situated for an overnight stay on our regular journey from The Alps to Calais. Third stay now and the restaurant is improved.

aging hotel ... strong smell of sewage in the room. cleaning, bedding (hair under the pillow head) and general maintenance leaves desired 10 m2 with 2 single beds leaves very little room to move around the beds disappointing

The room was dirty. Lots of dust, the toilet was dirty, and the toilet didn't flush. The lady who served during the meals was very nice and in a good mood.

Lovely staff. Restaurant meals were ok but not very creative or interesting, very limited choice. Breakfast not available before 8.00. Décor throughout a bit tired.

Exactly what we are looking for...simplicity...friendliness...and a restaurant with delicious food

Service was excellent, from the minute I walked in the door until I left. Friendly and prompt to respond to requests. The building and interior of rooms are showing their age, but it is in a small town and probably not economically feasible to do a massive refurbishing. Nice stopover for a pilgrim hiking the via Francigena.

A hidden gem, very friendly staff , great food and a lovely room

We’ve stayed in this hotel a number of times, as it makes a welcome overnight stay on our journey from home in the South-West of England to Provence. It may seem to be a little faded around the ages, but it’s clean, comfortable and the staff were super friendly. As they now offer a half-board option it’s excellent value for money, and we will certainly be staying again on our trips to Southern France.

The good surprise. A simple and pleasant hotel, at a very reasonable price. Rooms are no-frills but comfortable. Only downside with the TV, which is small and only picks up 2! The evening meal very good, the breakfast too but "French style", it could be improved by a little cold cuts and eggs. The best for last, the energetic and sympathetic boss. A must try if you are in the area!

Good value for money. Possible to return 24/24. Room 11 would require a better soundproofed door.

The staff were very friendly and took care of the details quickly then showed me to my room. Only one towel and no bathmat. A hand towel would have been nice. The food was good and plentiful.
