Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the lodge and the meal. Looking forward to returning.

Very natural setting. Superb night in a signature lodge with a terrace overlooking the Seine. Excellent breakfast. Perfect welcome. We cannot comment on dinner as the restaurant was booked for a private event the evening of our weekend.

A refreshing change from other stopovers in the area. Beautiful views of the river from our lodge style room and breakfast room. Good dinner and parking outside our individual lodge.
Make sure you have a flute of their champagne as an aperitif at 9 euros. We know the Gremillet Champagne well and like it a lot. We and have been selling, buying and drinking it for 40 years in the UK and France !!

A warm welcome, attentive staff. A refined setting and a very good restaurant. Overall, an excellent establishment.

One of the dishes served at the restaurant was not good: the langoustine ravioli had a strong alkali taste. We barely touched it and pointed out the problem. Despite this, we were still charged for the dish!

A wonderful break after a long day at work, friendly welcome and service, excellent food. I'll definitely be back!

Accommodation in individual log cabins in quiet and attractive countryside. The cabins are comfortable and well furnished. The staff are welcoming and the restaurant is good. I would stay again

Stayed in a lodge which was very clean well finished and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Access to the pool was nice after hours in the car. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Tea and coffee were available in the room which isn't common in France.

Second stay at Monte Cristo and another flawless experience. Everything is simply perfect! Spacious and very well-equipped chalet, superb dining. The staff, like everything else, are just perfect. Thank you again and see you soon!

We arrived at 10:30 pm, with a self-check-in, which was great. The setting was idyllic and a real change of scenery (and there were little rabbits on the property), the amenities were recent and modern, including a king-size bed (180 cm), and the breakfast was good.

Great find for a stop on our way to the alps. Lovely accommodation pods on the banks of the Seine. Nice restaurant. We have reommended to friends and will definately come back.

Excellent experience apart from the exceptionally loud barrage of fireworks that went off outside our rooms at around midnight, without warning or apology. This was particularly unwelcome in view of our stay being between two long days of travelling, as will have been the case for many other guests. Again as with other guests, we had a dog with us.

An original, very comfortable establishment with excellent cuisine, all of which richly deserves a fourth star.

On our first visit, we were charmed by this establishment, but were somewhat disappointed with the food on our last visit (change of chef?) and wanted to return following the change of ownership. We were even more delighted this time around as the grounds have expanded with new accommodations.

A superb discovery. In the evening stopovers, whether it's the accommodation or the restaurant, everything is superb. A clean, spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped "chalet" room. Just exceptional! We loved the room (a wooden bungalow which gives it a special, very cozy atmosphere!), the swimming pool (small but very functional, ideal temperature), the environment on the banks of the Seine, a real joy! To find something less good, a small downside on the breakfast which was a bit light for the price and such a shame that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings! In terms of the team, everything was perfect: welcome, availability and kindness! We will come back, that's for sure!

What a beautiful find. I was travelling alone so fancied something a little more luxurious for my stopover and this place didn’t disappoint. My beautiful big chalet style cabin, complete with terrace and river view, a gorgeous rain shower and double sink was everything I was looking for. I didn’t have dinner as I had brought my own but the restaurant did look lovely. They sold me a bottle of wine which I took back to my room and watched Netflix from my huge king size bed. A blissful experience. Will definitely be back

A great little hotel on the banks of the Seine with great rooms and a fantastic restaurant. Breakfast was also very good.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Had 1 of the best meals I've had for along time. The staff where all very helpful.
The only criticism i would have is that the main lighting in the restaurant could be a bit softer.

Magnificent cabin in a large estate along the Seine. Warm welcome, very clean. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but we will come back to try it.

The cabin was good, the restaurant was disappointing, and the breakfast was not worth the money. Several items on the buffet had not been refilled.

Our 3rd stay here as the accommodation is pertect for us with 2 dogs. Also the care taken by the restaurant staff to seat us at a table to easily accommodate the dogs. As ever the dinner was superb, both the food and the service

Very nice, luxury, clean! The car could go in front of the room, which was actually a chalet. And the swimming pool was very close. We loved it!

The hotel was clean and pleasant. A few suggestions for improvement: (just suggestions): * a receptionist who can also speak English. * Turn off the toilet ventilation much earlier; it currently makes a buzzing sound, which is especially annoying at night. * the "conservatory" where dinner is served isn't very cozy, which is a shame because the food is good. * the breakfast is simple and could be a bit more extensive. The log cabins are lovely and very tidy; I hope they stay that way as they get older. The grounds are very beautiful, though it's a shame the shop doesn't open until 9:30, as many people have already left by then.

The room is spotless, but the fact that I can't block out the glass door is a problem for me. It needs to be changed urgently.

On the other hand, I asked for twin beds, which was confirmed as ok when booking and in the end I had a mattress.

Very friendly welcome with a smile and a desire to make your stay pleasant. Very good dinner and perfect breakfast. A detail but important for a 3*; check the dust on the coffee machine or other objects & empty the ashtray on the terrace which still contained a cork from a champagne bottle from previous guests

I really enjoyed my stay at Domaine de Montecristo. We booked two rooms for one night. Overall, the setting is magnificent, the accommodations (two double rooms) are new, and the pool is well-maintained. The location is also perfect for a stopover. A few minor points to note: - The cleaning wasn't done equally well in both rooms. One of them was perfectly clean. The second didn't have bottled water or slippers provided, there were used coffee capsules left in the machine, and the floor under the bed hadn't been vacuumed, unfortunately leaving quite a bit of dust and grime. Also, there was no minibar as advertised (but reception confirmed they were on their way), and there were a lot of ants and wasps coming into the accommodation. Obviously, you're in the middle of nature, so it's to be expected, but the number of little creatures still impacted the tranquility of the stay. :) The bedding was perfect, and so was the shower. We had dinner at the restaurant and everything was very good. A small tip for those coming with children (babies): we didn't need a travel cot as offered, but it would have been helpful if one of the two armchairs had been removed to make it easier to set up our travel cot. I would highly recommend the place as we had a very pleasant time 🌻

Very nice cabins and the area is great to relax.

Amazing place! I stayed in a double 'room' overlooking the river. These are cute cabins with their own deck, seating, swing and parking space out front. The interior was spacious and stylish and very clean and the bed really comfortable. It was great to be opposite the Seine and I had two little dogs with me who also appreciated the comforts here: the room has a really good air conditioning (it was very hot). At night the bats were flitting around. It was wonderful, quiet, spacious, secure, clean and there was a pool which I didn't use as I had forgotten about this feature. I also used the car charging which was a breeze. It is an untethered charger but the reception desk have a cable, if you have forgotten your own. The receptionist was super helpful and very welcoming. The main building houses some a lovely deck dining area overlooking the Seine. The whole area is picturesque, with beautiful stone buildings and the establishment is a short drive to the peage. I didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. I didn't manage to connect to the internet but didn't bother to chase this with reception as I was quite happy to be offline for a relaxing break.
