Restaurant l'Esprit Jardin

Great hotel with a good restaurant. Beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a meal outdoors in nice weather.

We were looking for a place to stay to visit the area around Mont Ventoux and we stumbled upon the Hôtel des Pins by chance. Chance did things very well because we can describe our stay as perfect: welcome, accommodation and catering: everything is perfect.

Unfortunately my room wasn’t ready on arrival, it was 36°+ at the time of arrival and after an 8 hour journey I was not even offered a glass of water while I waited in the heat. When the room was finally ready an hour later nobody bothered to let me know. I found this to be rather poor service.

The owner is very friendly, the staff are pleasant and helpful, and the place is beautiful.

We had a great stay

The hotel is dated. It's not soundproof. Breakfast offers a wide selection. The pool is clean and at a comfortable temperature. There's plenty of parking.

The only three ways that this hotel could improve are; 1) To add shower curtains and shower holders so that the shower can be used standing up without flooding the bathroom. 2) Changing the menu so that there is something different to choose every lunchtime and dinner. Because the menu didn't change, we only ate there once in our 4 day stay. 3) For the room airconditioner to blow cold air because ours only seemed to provide heating.

The establishment is well-appointed and beautifully decorated, from the exterior to the living areas and bedrooms. One improvement would be to install a blackout curtain on the shower-side window of room 22. The staff is friendly and attentive.
