Restaurant le Cépage

The restaurant was perfect and very good. The room was very clean, but the setting was quite old and even a bit run-down. There was a lack of workspace (desk). The bedding was adequate. Breakfast was very basic, with no choice whatsoever. No dairy or savory options. Two choices of jelly. Only white bread. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

A hotel that would benefit from a LOT of work. Prohibitive price compared to the accommodation.

Een zeer welkom en prettig hotel. Voldoende ruimte op de kamers en misschien niet hezelfde als dat wat je in een grote stad kunt ervaren, maar daarom ben je op het Franse platteland. De mensen die hier alleen maar klagen over wat het hotel niet heeft kunnen beter in de stad blijven; maar de mensen die nog kunnen genieten en hun 'klaagzang' voor zich weten te houden weten hier een prima hotel te vinden.

Decent hotel, ideal for a stopover. The outdoor terrace is very pleasant for dining in good weather. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom is renovated. The food is excellent. Note: It does not deserve the very negative reviews that I have read, which are detrimental to small hotels in rural France! Be indulgent with the shopkeepers who survive in places with few tourists.
