A wonderful experience that could only happen in France. A little slice of history. Delightful food including a perfectly cooked steak and excellent wine in a marvellous time warp hotel.

Hôtel dans son jus (dans le mauvais sens du terme), bruyant, à la déco totalement désuète, confort nul, toilettes sanibroyeur, patronne fort désagréable. Pour 80 euros la
Nuit on s’attendait quand même à un minimum...

Het is niet de luxe maar voor die prijs is alles dik in orde. Als je 2 sterren boekt weet je dat. En heel goeie bedden👍

Chambre assez vétuste date des années 80. Et la salle de repas assez abîmée ( trou dans le plafond et comme la chambre date des années 80, un petit coup de peinture ne ferez pas de mal. Sans engager de gros frais.

A part se point négatif personne aimable et a votre écoute.

De ruiten en gordijnen in het restaurant waren ontzettend smerig.

Accueil plus ou moins bien sympathique. La chasse d'eau du wc ne fonctionne qu'une fois sur trois et encore. Le drap de dessous d'un lit a des taches de rouille et des barreaux manquent à l'autre. Un petit pan de mur de la chambre est moisi. La télé ne capte que quelques chaînes. La clé de la chambre tourne dans le vide dans la serrure, si vous ne poussez pas à fond celle-ci vous restez dehors. Le café du petit déjeuner était très léger pas fort du tout et le chocolat avait goût d'eau. Pas de sèche cheveux(pas indispensable je l'accorde,j'avais le mien) mais pas de prise dans la salle de bain, trois prises dans la chambre loin du miroir. Désolée que le seul point positif soit la bonne connexion du Wi-Fi.

Excellent location. Room clean but a bit dated. Restaurant fantastic and service friendly.

We appreciated that the staff spoke English or found someone that did. The only problem we had was that the bed in the bedroom was short so it was a bit uncomfortable. The location was great and we had two fabulous dinners in the restaurant on site. Since it is in a small town, I’d suggest that light food or snacks be available for purchase. The dining room didn’t open until 7:30 pm and it was late for our family. The staff was accommodating in finding us cold milk for my two year old grandson though I don’t think they understood why we wanted it. We enjoyed the experience of working with French customs and I hope the staff was okay with our requests that were different for them.

The food and service in the restaurant were wonderful but the whole hotel needs a facelift.

Salle de restaurant anormalement grande et très très vieilllote, ce qui justifie en soit le classement de 1 cheminée mais le restaurant ne tient absolument pas ses promesses de 3 cocottes. Nous avions choisi des bons produits mais malheureusement ils étaient mal cuisinés : soit froids, soit trop cuits (ris de veau et coquilles Saint-Jacques), le foie gras était très décevant (annoncé avec pain d'épices, non servi). La qualité du filet de boeuf n'était pas identique d'un jour à l'autre. Seuls points positifs du menu : les amuses-bouches et le sympathique trou champenois.
Autre point positif de l'hôtel : la wifi était impeccable.

Angenehmer kann man den letzten Abend der Urlaubsreise nicht genießen! Die Küche: Ein absolutes High-Light!

belle région. Hotel rustique mais propre, calme.Un bon point, une très bonne literie,on dort très bien.Dommage,le point faible,le petit déjeuner(pas de buffet comme habituellement)pas de laitage,pas de fruit,pas de choix.Il ne vaut pas son prix.

Le charme désuet d'un hôtel restaurant dans lequel les ravages du monde moderne ne sont pas encore arrivés. Des patrons d'une gentillesse et d'une délicatesse sans bornes. Une cuisine savoureuse, avec juste ce qu'il faut de modernité. Voilà un endroit ou SIMENON et son célèbre Commissaire auraient trouvés leurs aises.

This was our 4th visit. Decor in restaurant and hotel could be updated to vastly improve it. Rooms and bathroom very basic but comfortable. More modern wall colours and furniture would make better but we will continue to stay again.
