We stay in le chateau des tourelles since over 15 years , this says it all.
I have stayed before when my children were younger - 13 years ago and was well run with a lovely resteraunt for Breakfast & Dinner.
Other family members have stayed since and they always provide a great experience & service.
We have been staying here for several years and always meet people who have been visiting for 20years+ !
It is a friendly, family-run hotel, very clean and comfortable .... with an excellent restaurant!

Have stayed many times and it is always very good. Very friendly, comfortable, quiet hotel with an excellent restaurant.
Although the bedrooms are slightly dated the quality of the food more than makes up for it. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed with any dish.
The service and friendliness of the staff at this charmingly old-fashioned hotel were excellent. The quality of the products is also noteworthy.
We had a fabulous meal and a good nights sleep.

We love this hotel. It is a wonderful welcome you experience from friendly staff.
The hotel is akin to faulty towers with the curtains that don’t quite cover the window and the shower turning to scalding when you flush the toilet but for us this all adds to its character and charm.
The thing however that brings us back for more is the food and wine. Of many years staying here not one bad meal. The food is well presented, seasonal and delicious. It is also excellent value for money.

Lovely hotel and reso
This is a pleasant hotel in a quiet small village. What separates it from other similar hotels is the high level of personal service. The lounge becomes a place to meet other guests, to enjoy an aperitif, an after-dinner drink.
Two dinner menus, one good-value for weekdays and the other excellent and still good value. A decent selection of wines to accompany the food.
Note that are a few steps on the way to the entrance and some rooms may not be lift-accessible.
We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is a friendly, well appointed hotel offering excellent facilities.
Good food
Our 5th visit to this hotel with our dogs. The proprietor is always happy and smiling and the staff most welcoming. The food is superb. My only teeny-weeny criticism is that the room we were in was rather tired and in need of some tlc, though it was spotlessly clean! We will be using this hotel again as it's convenient for the ferry or tunnel and is a real final treat in France before returning to the UK.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short distance from Calais and we had excellent dinners and indeed looked forward to our dinner on our return on the journey home.

We always stay at this hotel on our visits to France. It is in an ideal location for our first and last evenings as we use the shuttle to cross the Channel The journey to Calais is easy by autoroute and very attractive cross country. It is so good we are thinking of using the hotel for a short visit to the area. The decor of the rooms very much matches the style of the Chateau and the welcome and level of service is second to none.
Always a pleasure to stay here before getting the ferry back to England
The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. The room accommodation was clean but basic and dated. I found the bed uncomfortable.
Charming place with very welcoming staff, very close to the RN42. We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but it will be for a future stay!
Delightful hotel; charming staff; very nice meal in the restaurant
The friendliness and efficiency of staff was top class. Our every need was met and always with kindness and a smile. The decor of the room was a little tired but its cleanliness was fine. The bathroom, whilst a shower attachment was provided, did not have an overhead shower which was a little less than expected, but a beautiful bath was provided. The bathroom was very clean also. The dining room was beautiful and the food was even better. For anyone seeking a fine dining experience at a fair price, this hotel would be perfect. It is in a beautiful area with plenty of easy parklng which is located at the back of the hotel.
We've stayed here many times over the years and have always enjoyed ourselves. We are always given a warm welcome and the food and service are exceptional.

Old room, which requires renovations. Numerous malfunctions (water leaks in the bathroom, very deteriorated baseboards and door sill, damp carpet, insufficient toilet drainage,...............) Tennis court difficult to use...............

We've been staying here on the last night of our holidays since 2018 (bar the 2 Covid years).
The food is great, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, the accommodation is fine and it is just 30 minutes from the tunnel or port at Calais.
Fabulous room. Spotlessly clean. Have stayed here several times on our way back to the UK and really liked it. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is excellent and the whole ambience of the place is great. They welcome dogs, which is a bonus as we have two elderly ones and it seems, after having conversations with other residents, that many are repeat visitors.
A regular overnight stop over ahead of our return to the UK, Chateau des Tourelles never disappoints. A charming hotel providing a quality service throughout. A warm, friendly welcome & aperitifs in the lounge are a prelude to an excellent dining experience. A choice of 2 well-priced set menus or à la carte are on offer, all dishes from which are a delight. Front of house leads a great team with enthusiasm & a smile, where nothing is too much trouble. We can't recommend this hotel enough.
As always, we had a great meal in the evening and great service from everyone. Unfortunately, the standard of the room is not good enough and spoils the stay.

Great hotel location that is only 30 mins drive to Calais and situated in a nice quiet village. Staff are fantastic. Friendly and very welcoming. The evening meal was superb and the service provided is excellent. This really is a nice hotel and the seating areas both inside and outside the hotel are lovely. The rear terrace area is large and provides a nice quiet place to sit and enjoy a pre and post meal drink. I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here 9 years ago and the hotel was excellent, sadly not so good now.

A truly wonderful overnight stay on the last night of our holiday. We went overboard on the meal and wines and it was worth every penny. We plan to return one day.

We have stayed at Le Tourelles twice now!!! They are always very welcoming !!! The rooms are what you expect from a French stay!!!! Slightly old-fashionioned but with a modern twist. The food is absolutely amazing and great value!!! Will come again definately!!!
I have stayed at this hotel many times for it's convenient proximity to Calais and the overall experience and value for money. The hotel is in a peaceful location, the staff are always welcoming, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the food is good. I certainly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff who also do everything to make the stay possible for someone in a wheelchair. Good food at a reasonable price. But the castle is faded glory and has many small defects such as defective lighting, balcony door that does not open. A makeover would do wonders.

Charming hotel in a small, quiet village. Not especially impressive externally, but the welcome, quality of food and attention was exceptional and professional. Room was ok, functional rather than luxurious. But the most important aspect was the friendliness and attention by the team. Dinner was superb - staying here just for dinner would be worth it. Breakfast was also exceptional - I could see the attention to detail in the quality of the produce.
Minor negative - the bathroom rubbish bin still contained the previous client's waste.

Quiet location but a great atmosphere in this stylish hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The dining room is beautiful, the food and service excellent. A good selection of wine by the half bottle as well as glass. All very good.

A few signs of wear and tear in the room (window opening not working properly, loose fittings, slightly aging room door) but a wonderful welcome, superb setting, very quiet, excellent restaurant, charming staff. In short, a very good stay overall.
