Restaurant Château Bellevue

Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, very nice spa. We appreciated staying in a human-sized hotel, a family-run guesthouse. The decor is certainly a little dated, but it fits with the place. The floorboards are also a little old and let us know it during our nighttime trips to the toilets. But not to the point of downgrading the rating.

Thank you for this perfect stay, both in terms of the quality of the accommodation and the food. In addition, an excellent, friendly and professional welcome. As for the setting, a magnificent park enhanced by the colors of autumn. A place to recommend without hesitation.

An authentic hotel with incredible charm

Charlotte and Thomas Brochart, Emilie three charming and very professional hosts, they delighted us with a refined menu with subtle and balanced flavors, made from local products and from their garden....Very pleasant and quiet mansion.

Overall disappointing for the following reasons: - room no. 2 was undecorated and old-fashioned, creaky parquet flooring, and the shower head holder on the vertical bar did not hold, making it impossible to put the shower head in place. Very disappointing culinary experience: - Lilliputian portions. The starter was foie gras, which was showing signs of oxidation, the cling film was present on one of the three slices, the garnish of the dish was really small. In short, the price of this dinner (52 euros/person) was really disproportionate. In conclusion, we will not have a positive memory of this establishment.

The bathroom is cramped and the interior doors are old, so they don't close properly. The decor of the room we had (a classic room) could be improved with a little updating. The site is very pleasant and the welcome is impeccable. The spa and wellness massages are highly recommended!

A fantastic place to unwind. The staff was lovely, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The garden with the animals is worth a visit, as is the spa (it's best to book a time to visit). We really enjoyed the restaurant, which serves quality products. The hotel was very welcoming and a great base for visiting the nearby towns.

Nice establishment but the lack of air conditioning in the room, especially in this hot weather, prevented us from sleeping.

A little gem in the Gers!

Lots of things to say about this very special place... We were here for a few days to relax in Cazaubon. The Château de Bellevue is above all a family, a superb welcome. Everything is done for you. ❤️ Even if some parts of the hotel may seem old, the charm of the house is there. The place is very clean and perfectly maintained. When you return from a walk, if you want to discover the history of the area, the good addresses, or taste a delicious Armagnac, ask Thomas for this service... 😉... He will be happy to educate your taste buds... And it is also a great pleasure to listen to him. As for the restaurant... We enjoyed the evening meal in the package (nice with the Spa😉). I can only tell you one thing, you will not be disappointed... The cuisine is fine, modern, and presents the excellence of local products... and always a touch of humor or great anecdotes from the maître d'hôtel (again) Thomas... the service is just impeccable, faultless, and very professional. In short, if the elevator made us smile during our first stay, it was once again a truly very pleasant moment that we spent at the Château de Bellevue. The surroundings and parks of the castle are superb, as is the outdoor swimming pool... 😉👍 Among the great new features (for us), we had the privilege of discovering the castle's SPA... A real investment 😳😊... A superb place, with high-quality equipment, indoor swimming pool, counter-current swimming, massage jet, hammam and sauna, hot drinks available... Not to mention the possibility of treatments, massages, my wife was delighted with the treatments, she even left with products... Superb quality... If you have an electric car, the hotel has two 22kw/h and 7 kw/h sockets in the lower parking lot. The price is very reasonable, since the interior is 30 cents per kw/h depending on your subscription card... Charging is quite fast for our large battery... Don't forget your cable. ⚡ In short, you get the idea, we warmly recommend this establishment that we love. Thank you to the whole family for your welcome and the excellence of your service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bellevue Hotel. The staff was attentive yet discreet, the food was delicious, the garden and pool were beautiful, and the peace and quiet were very relaxing.

Fans of standardized hotel chains with sterile decor should move on! Here, you'll find an old-fashioned hotel that transports you back in time. The pool and spa are very pleasant and well-maintained. I appreciated the presence of chargers for my electric car and regretted the lack of shade in the parking lot.

Two drawbacks in our opinion: it's a shame to serve all the breakfast fruit straight from the refrigerator (especially since it's excellent). The €52 dinner is too expensive for what's served. Given the heat, we would have appreciated a refill of the water bottle.

Very nice establishment, beautiful dining room, beautiful living room, beautiful collection of old Armagnac, but on the other hand room No. 2 is horrible, poor maintenance, parquet flooring that creaks along its entire length, the door handles need to be renewed, missing cleanliness plate, the handles go into the wood of the door - very poor lighting, not a single bulb lights up properly, the toilet door gets stuck!! a simple plane would be enough, the small pieces of furniture would need a little makeover, traces of glasses and bottles, the bed is 2x90 but the duvet remained at 140 cm, the metal of the "old" bed is pitted, there is not even a kettle or coffee maker (3 stars all the same), forgetting to refill the kleenex box, forgetting to replace the water bottle on the 2nd day. As for the catering: no real menu with specialties listed - only one classic menu at 37 euros and two menus at more than 50 euros. In addition, the 37 euro menu is the same all week!! In terms of quality of this menu: meat - filet migon, undercooked, sliced sauce!! Carrots barely cooked, in short, very disappointed with the services of such an establishment. We had a wonderful time in this superb, human-sized hotel. Elise's welcome at reception was perfect! We were able to enjoy the spa and the outdoor pool. The room was very pretty with a view of the magnificent garden. The meal served on the terrace delighted our taste buds, and breakfast was also very good with a wide variety.

If you go to the Bellevue Hotel solely for the rooms, you might be disappointed because they could do with some renovations. On the other hand, the staff is welcoming and pleasant, and the cuisine is simple and refined with quality products. The place is charming and calm. The spa looks new and is intimate. We had a great time.

Our disappointment is mainly due to the food. Far too expensive: €52 for a starter and main course, cheese, without it being a real culinary effort or exploration. €35 would have been adequate.

The tranquility of the surroundings, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the food make it an ideal place to rest and unwind. It has two electric vehicle charging stations. However, keep in mind that they are paid, operated by Freshmile, and although the maximum power at both stations is 22 kWh, it never exceeds 7 kWh. In addition to charging €0.20 per kW recharged, they also charge based on time, €0.025 per minute (€1.50/hour). So, when charging at 7 kWh instead of 22 kWh, keep in mind that it takes three times longer than expected at 22 kWh, with the resulting additional charge for time. For example, if I want to charge 44 kW, instead of taking 2 hours with a 22 kWh charging power, which would cost €3, with a 7 kWh charging power it will take approximately 6 hours, which will cost €9 per charging time, added to the price of the recharged kW (44 x 0.20 = €8.80). Keep this in mind. Otherwise, this is a highly recommended hotel with a good price-performance ratio. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

We spent one night at Château Bellevue, with dinner in the evening, breakfast in the morning and a spa session. The welcome is great, it feels good to be received by people who give themselves to offer customers an unforgettable stay. Concerning the rooms, it is clean and welcoming, we sleep very well and we feel the authentic side of the castle! The dinner was very original, the chef innovates to offer things that we are not necessarily used to tasting, that's a pleasure. The breakfast is very good: served as a buffet, it offers good products for all tastes Finally, the spa is great! Little noise, bright and warm, with a small room to drink a herbal tea, the balcony to get some air, sauna, hammam and swimming pool with hydromassage. It was a very good time, I recommend the experience!

Very pleasant stay! We had a great dinner and the breakfast was superb. A small downside reported on our departure: you should not be in a hurry to close / open the door of room number 1 (the key is never there, it should be there to engage the bolt of a door --> lock to be changed).

Our room was poor and old. The bed was too small. Even it was clean. Service was friendly.

Perfectly professional team, the equipment is complete. Pay attention to the finishes (room paint, door, seals) but also the equipment such as the toilet seat or the plastic toilet brush. We are getting closer to 4 stars here but we have to be even more picky about the details. Be careful, there are too many people at the same time in the pool spa center. There is also a problem, not enough space to leave these things when you enter the spa area where there is the swimming pool. Because only 2 deckchairs and a small table. If there are several couples, this does not allow you to put your things down. You should offer a cocktail or champagne service when you take the spa reservation, that would be great. Sausages for breakfast would be welcome rather than cooked ham. Congratulations to the whole team.

No air conditioning in the room, a fan was provided on request. No kettle in the room, hot drinking water could/had to be prepared by the staff. Breakfast was rather spartan.

Lovely setting and grounds with pool and terrace.Restaurant was very well furnished and comfortable, the service was excellent and food good.
The bedroom lacked amenities ie bottle of water, tea and coffee making facilities, only one glass and no cups.
When travelling you need a drink on arrival, without having to order something from the hotel ,luckily we had our own water and cups!
The bathroom had no soap on the basin, only the shower dispenser and no toiletries, which you would expect at this level of hotel.
This aspect was disappointing. Parking seemed limited in front of hotel.

We received a warm welcome. It felt very welcoming, almost like coming home. The bathroom and toilet were separate in the room, which was very nice, but both were a bit cramped in terms of floor space. But that was the only critical note.
