Very warm welcome in this hotel located in the Basque country. Quiet environment and splendid view. The evening menu at 25 euros is full of flavors and garden produce. The hotel team is very professional and friendly. We had a very good stay.

Beautiful hotel. Very warm welcome and excellent chef. We had a great time. Breakfast was well stocked and complete with local products, including honey and yogurts. Just one small downside for the triple room: it would be wise to have a small individual bedside lamp for the single bed. Otherwise, nothing to complain about, we will come back with great pleasure.

A magical little hotel. The views and atmosphere were lovely. The highlight was our evening meal which was amazing - a short menu, but vegetarian choices available - and they were delicious! It meant a lot to me that I was catered for as a vegetarian here.

A beautiful hotel with pleasant staff but disappointing because our room had nothing to do with these beautiful photos on the website. A tiny room with 3 beds while there were only two of us under the roof without air conditioning just a fan with an infernal noise. 3 nights without really resting so rather expensive for a place that could have been idyllic if we had been in a room corresponding to the photos.

Fantastic service, due to traffic jams, we were late getting to the hotel so we telephoned as we would arrive around 21:45, dinner was no longer possible, so the Manager offered to prepare a plate of dried ham and cheese selection that was delicious and at a nice price.
Dogs are very welcome at the hotel which is great. And the view from the balcony in the room was awesome
Some extra signs on the way could help find the hotel better. These are missing.

positive point the evening dinner and the welcome small and old-fashioned room bathroom from the 60s toilets plan to change them it is a 3 star but air conditioning would be welcome even if in the Basque country it is more temperate

The location is very quiet and close to the city center. The room is large and cozy, with a large terrace offering beautiful views. We only had dinner one night, but the menu was delicious. I had conger eel for dinner: very well cooked.

This is our first time at this hotel and we were not disappointed. The welcome is perfect, the whole team is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is truly excellent and the added bonus is that the chef offers a different menu every day; there is something for everyone. The place is quiet and refreshing; a little out of the way but in 15 minutes on foot you are in the center of Sare. In short, we will come back.

A very friendly inn, run by the same family for several generations. Nice view of the mountain. Very generous breakfast. Admittedly, the decoration of the rooms is a little "basic", especially the bathrooms. But the beds are excellent, the bath towels soft. The room was lovely overlooking the countryside! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The only concern was we think there was no air conditioning and we had two very hot nights. The breakfast was simple, but lovely and we wished we had made dinner reservations. We just forgot.

Magnificent typical Basque hotel. With catering with Basque menus. The people at the hotel are really very nice and always attentive to our needs. The rooms are pleasant. We spent 3 quiet nights. The breakfasts were perfect. We recommend without hesitation this small and pretty hotel which also accepts animals.

We stayed one night with a dog in this hotel which was a stopover during our trip. The staff was great and very welcoming. The room was perfect and the bedding very good. The hotel restaurant is recommended. Finally Sare is a beautiful and very quiet village.

We arrived at 11pm and they waited for us, which was a nice touch. The views are great, the room is clean, although there is a common area where we can have a drink from home, a snack, etc. Overall, we are very happy, the town is beautiful.

Calm and serenity...

An atypical hotel in a remarkably well-kept little haven of peace and exceptionally pleasant and caring staff! 😊 The rooms are very neat and comfortable, the bedding perfect but the only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and some, depending on their location, can become less breathable. A fan is however offered to you. We have stayed there twice now and will come back. Thank you for your warm welcome.

Fuimos con niños y muy bien porque estaban las camas en la misma habitación que la nuestra separadas por el baño, donde siempre nos han repuesto tanto vasos como champú-gel. Hizo un día calor y solicitamos un ventilador y se nos dejó sin problemas. Eso sí como propuesta poner mosquiteras y así no haría falta nada de nada porque la temperatura de fuera es idónea e incluso hace fresco.

CORRECT DINNER WITH EVENING MENU AT 25 EUROS (SAMOUSSAS, GRAY DORADE AND PRAWNS, APRICOT TART) + (DISCOVERY MENU AT 32 EUROS). THE COMPLAINT COMES FROM THE FACT OF NOT OFFERING PRODUCTS FROM THE REGION EVEN IN THE DISCOVERY MENU. HOMEMADE LIKE CATALAN CREAM SPRINKLED WITH CHILI PEPPER BUT NOTHING FROM THE REGION (THE SNAIL STEW WAS NOT ONE). BUT THE EVENING WAS SUCCESSFUL ALL THE SAME.
