A short but really pleasant stay

We had a wonderful stay with Katia and Stefan. A warm and friendly welcome, a calm, clean and rejuvenating environment. The breakfast is generous and of high quality, and having breakfast outside by the pool was a very pleasant experience. We had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant several times and we highly recommend it! The chef's good humor is a real pleasure, as is the quality of the service and the cuisine. We enjoyed this gourmet cuisine, prepared in a friendly manner, every time.

Hotel with simple comfort, closer to a 2 star than a 3 star.

A wonderful discovery in the heart of the Dordogne. A cozy and welcoming family hotel in the middle of the countryside. A very friendly welcome and a typical Périgord restaurant. We spent three very pleasant days.

Having complete confidence in Logis Hotel, I booked a 2-night stay in July. The establishment is not welcoming, it is aging and needs a serious renovation. Closed shutters and doors, empty and poorly maintained courtyard, staircase with steps in poor condition, stained carpet. Superior room (the most expensive) rented, to have air conditioning. It works during the day, when no one is in the room and is turned off at 10 p.m., with no possibility of turning it back on, because they REMOVE the remote control upon arrival and it is non-negotiable. Unheard of! From the moment you set foot in this place, you have booked, given your bank details and if you don't like it, you can go elsewhere, but you will be charged for one night, or even more. We really feel like we have been ripped off by Logis Hotel! The main attraction is the swimming pool. However, the liner has already had a very long life, it is tinkered with and badly needs to be replaced. Only one parasol, less than ten deckchairs and the smell of a septic tank in the north wind. There is no hotel service around the pool, no drinks, no food, cold showers. On an uninviting terrace, without parasol or tent (it has been dismantled and is lying in a corner), the restaurant is only open in the evening during the season. There is a cook who serves very tough, overcooked meat and fries swimming in fat. When I was asked my opinion on the dish, I allowed myself to point out that the meat was far too tough and overcooked. I then received the astonishing response: "it's the dish of the day and at this price, you shouldn't expect a miracle." The dish goes back to the kitchen in its entirety, without being offered anything else and is charged the full price. The only positive points are the location and the pool, if you like very fresh water and are not too fussy about the general condition. This place looks more like an aging guesthouse with no services than a 3-star hotel and restaurant. However, the bill is not at all that of a guesthouse. More than €300 for 2 nights. Extremely disappointed by this stay.

Unparalleled quality of welcome, Katia is a very pleasant person who takes care of her customers. We were able to have a meal at the restaurant. The cook is attentive to his dishes as well as to food allergies. The chocolate mousse is excellent in a sophisticated presentation. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is pleasant and quiet. Thank you Katia.

The highlight of this stay was the quality of the breakfast, plentiful, varied, with high-class pastries. We regretted the absence of a seat for the second occupant, only one armchair equipping this room. We did not use the hotel's wifi

Everything was perfect! Very friendly and warm welcome. Very good breakfast with fresh bread and soft pastries. A gold palm for the delicious homemade jams. We get away from it all, we recharge our batteries in this traditional environment in the middle of the countryside.

Beautiful, quiet hotel, superb swimming pool in a green setting, pleasant terrace, well-appreciated evening meal (foie gras, trout and dessert, we left nothing!). For breakfast, extra homemade compote and jams and tasty walnut cake, in short, we recommend it for a nature and gourmet break (not far from the countless tourist sites of the Dordogne, such as the Jardins d'Eyrignac.

I spent 5 nights in this pretty hotel (located in a very small, charming and quiet hamlet), which I found pleasant and well maintained. Its staff is very friendly, welcoming and efficient. I am completely satisfied with this stay which took place without any problem and I recommend this establishment without hesitation!

Pleasant welcome

Our only disappointment was that the weather didn’t allow us to dine on the terrace. That apart, the hotel was most attractive, the welcome genuine, the room spotless, the dining experience a pleasure with first class service and attention to detail. Couldn’t fault it after a long day!

The welcome is warm, the hotel is quiet and very pleasant. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, a real delight for a very affordable price, so rare today to eat fresh, homemade products. A really nice weekend with a total change of scenery. You will not be disappointed if you stopped at the hotel in Jayac.
