Amabilité et disponibilité sont présentes à toute heure. Le parking (public) est au pied des chambres. Le seul point moins "positif" est de devoir gérer les horaires (payants) et les interdictions de stationner le jour du marché. Cela dit, les places libres (gratuites) sont toutes proches et lorsqu'il fait beau un peu de marche à pied en bord de Loire ne manque pas d'agrément. Merci à toute l'équipe pour son accueil.

Sadly breakfast was poor, only 1 croissant and one Pain au chocolate left and small amount of bread. No more available for us! Paid extra for breakfast also!

The shower was only running VERY hot water and the room could do with a good cobweb clean, chandelier covered in them. Shame

Would benefit from a little more careful cleaning. Good bedding. Rooms on the Loire side, a little noisy, due to the simple fact that there is a bar below. The staff is very professional and charming

A warm welcome and a very good restaurant, I highly recommend.

The hotel is good, the staff friendly and the breakfast varied and fresh. The only problem is the number of people in the area, with disturbances from young people shouting at night, making it impossible to sleep during these two nights. What are the police doing at the end of the street!!

A shabby room, salvaged furniture unsuitable for a hotel. An old and stained carpet. The floor of the small bathroom and the moldy shower tray and above all, above all A VERY OLD SOFA in filthy imitation leather, the worn black plastic was coming off in tatters, leaving a yellowish frame visible, a questionable, misshapen and slippery cover was trying without success in hiding part of it. This room 31 is unworthy of a hotel accommodation. From a hygienic point of view, this is unacceptable. It is useless to specify that it does not appear on the pretty photos that this establishment presents. I reported, of course, at the reception our dissatisfaction, the person replied that they only had two stars....! But this hotel does not deserve one! On the other hand, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Despite this we will never return to this place. My family, who I showed the photos to, thought it was a joke.

The only major concern: room on the Loure: a lot of noise, and music until 2 a.m. .... and at 5 a.m. cleaning of the place ... very disturbed sleep

Fantastic historic hotel in a great location by the river and city centre.
The two floor apartment was great for our family of 5.
Staff work very hard but still have time for a smile and chat.

Very well located, the hotel Cristal Saumur offers a large family under the roof with a lot of charm, which suits us very well. The team does its best for customers, with a smile, thanks again to them!

The hotel is in a strategic position, convenient to all services. The tourist attractions of Saumur are within walking distance. The room we chose had a magnificent view of the Loire, it was very spacious and with well-kept furnishings consistent with the historic building that houses the facility. The staff are very nice and efficient.

Lack of air conditioning. We can't sleep with the windows open because there is too much noise.

The staff ŵas very feiendly and helpful. The ford and drink meni in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast excellent. Highly recommended in a great location.

In addition, public parking in front of the hotel, cheap, free from 6:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next day. I recommend.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Saumur where I've stayed many times with comfortable rooms.

Convenient hotel for visit Saumur, in our way to The Valley of Loira.

Decent room but dated bathroom

Comfortable and well located hotel. The welcome is pleasant and the staff friendly. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu was tempting. To try !

Chambre assez petite, avec WC qui donne directement dans la chambre (pas très agréable) et est distant de la (petite) salle de bains pour se laver les mains. Literie du lit 1 personne très ferme (pas de sommier, un meuble en bois à la place). Petit dej correct et pas trop cher heureusement. Prix assez élevé pour la prestation dans l'ensemble.

Restaurant good

Room does not have sufficient power point and only 1 in the room. The bed is not even straight and level. Sloping downwards to the centre of the bed.
The counter staff gal however is poilte, a good point to the hotel.

Hotel very well located. Near the center, near the Loire, near all the shops. Prestigious hotel. Really beautiful !! Very clean room. We had a good stay there. I recommend this beautiful place

Good location and friendly staff

When you do the Francette, your first wish is to put your bikes away, and not before 4 p.m. even if you take your things. The bedroom needs updating, the bathroom has mold and the staircase is limited for people of a certain age as for the banister, the coat of paint is tired, you can see the previous one, which does not encourage you to put your hand down. 3 stars I have seen better at hotel logis. The more than positive a very good restaurant to recommend.

Good breakfast and good food but ... very old-fashioned room, not at all corresponding to the photos offered on the site for this type of room. Very threadbare sofa (it's shameful to leave such a sofa in a room at 75 euros per night), view of the dirty backyard and cooking smells early in the morning.

Great location, comfortable rooms and very good restaurant

Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was very clean. Toilet had poor ventilation. Breakfast was good but evening meal was disappointing- starter and salad had a lot of sweet pink whipped cream which clashed with the food! We could have made better food choices. Overall very convenient and pleasant stay.
