We were not impressed by the hotel. We had wanted to stay there for a long time, but unfortunately, the value for money did not live up to our expectations. The lack of maintenance of the grounds is striking; a car wreck in plain sight and overgrown woodwork demonstrate a serious lack of care, which is unacceptable for an establishment of this standard. It is surprising that no complimentary tea and coffee tray was provided. A coffee machine and kettle would be a basic amenity. Our night was disturbed by the presence of mice in the traditional suite. This situation is unacceptable and in no way meets the expected standards.
Very nice and very pleasant
We booked this hotel to try out the Auberge d'Antan. The hotel staff were friendly, but everything felt a bit dated. Our room was old-fashioned with a very creaky bed; I would have appreciated a kettle and some tea bags in the room. The spa is very cute and well-designed, the private use is very pleasant, and the setting with the fireplace is truly original. We would have appreciated it if the jacuzzi had been cleaned before our visit, as the inside edges were dirty from previous guests, but we overlooked it and spent an hour in this lovely spot. Breakfast was adequate, but I think that in Ariège there are many local products that deserve to be featured, such as local honey, rather than what was offered. A selection of hot savory options would have been a real plus, but for the price, it was still quite good.
The Paul Valery room had a rather impractical bathroom
Very warm welcome, a quiet night, perfect
Everything was perfect, no issues, I recommend it.
Very good. And pleasant service. But the room is a bit dated: old bedding with a thin mattress and a creaking floor that makes the wardrobe move. But that's also part of the charm of the old. So, mixed feelings.
Always an excellent welcome, unique rooms and very high-quality food.
Very good for a short stay and an evening at the Auberge d'Antan. Very comfortable bed, decent bathroom. Very good breakfast. Perfect welcome. On the other hand, the living room is impractical, no TV, smells of old, probably due to humidity (no opening to ventilate, no VMC, moldy ceiling in a corner).
Good base from which explore the area. Clean.
Reception very helpful. But.....whole place dated and rundown, needs a complete refurbishment, walls very thin so could hear everything going on in adjoining rooms, smell of woodsmoke from next door restaurant in the evening. Needs a kettle and fridge in room. Breakfast very poor
Excellent welcome from the staff. Excellent restaurant.
Quiet establishment, in a green setting. The rooms are spacious. The bedding is very comfortable. The rooms and common areas are very old and authentic.
We stayed at the Hotel Logis Chateau Beauregard to attend a wedding in the area. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and the staff were very helpful. I would like to mention Carlos especially who took the time to tell us about the area and recommend restaurants and activities.
un charme désuet très cohérent
Good establishment, very quiet location.
Old decor, very mediocre breakfast with no hot items. No place to sit quietly inside.
Nice quiet location with great pool. Adequate continental breakfast.
A quiet hotel that deserves 2 stars and not 3 Bad bedding Smell in the bathroom Avoid the rooms on the second floor which are under the roof with large barred skylights
Overpriced! Old junk, room without air conditioning - quality vs price out of balance
Very good for those who like Rustic
Very good hotel!
