A beautiful property, attentive staff, excellent local produce, very friendly owners, a warm atmosphere, and the icing on the cake: the spa is a little marvel... everything is designed for a pleasant stay. Regards, Mr. Brechbühl.
Charming hotel, in an English style, with a superb spa! You absolutely must try the flotation tank. The rooms are large and incredibly quiet. The staff is very professional. The restaurant is top-notch. In short, everything is of extremely high quality. Go for it!
A very nice hotel with character
The room was poorly soundproofed. The reception area did not promote peace and quiet for hotel guests.
It's always a pleasure to return to this beautiful establishment with its high-quality services and cuisine; the spa is a real asset for relaxation and rejuvenation. Special mention goes to the welcoming staff, who were friendly, kind, and very professional.
Excellent stay; I am very impressed by the attention to detail in the decor and the quality of the services. The welcome and service were warm, attentive, and personalized.
This was our first experience at this hotel. The check-in process was chaotic due to a large number of arrivals around 3:30 pm and only one person handling it (her colleague was constantly going back and forth escorting guests to their rooms). The decor and amenities were outdated (no way to adjust the room temperature or the bathroom heater, no mixer tap to control the water temperature, resulting in excessive water consumption to reach the desired temperature). We were even surprised to find a DVD player connected to the TV. The new spa is nice, although the pool water temperature is insufficient (we spoke with other guests, who all shared this opinion), and there's a lack of at least one bench in the sauna. The Valentine's Day meal was decent, but the wait between courses was excessive. Despite being checked in at 7 pm, we didn't receive dessert until 11 pm. Breakfast was decent (the products were fresh), I regret the absence of wholemeal bread, gluten-free alternatives and the coffee machine being a bit slow to satisfy everyone at a busy time (offering a thermos of filter coffee would be a solution).
