Wonderful stay, charming and attentive hosts. Superb château in a beautiful setting overlooking the Tarn River. Lovely room, comfortable bed. We would gladly return.
Great
It is a magnificent place, and we had an excellent stay, the staff is very pleasant, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the castle is truly superb and the decoration has been done with great taste, the small chapel and the breakfast room are worth the detour, as for the restaurant refined and copious dishes await you in a sober and period setting. A place hidden in the gorges and which will remain the highlight of our stay in the Tarn gorges, to discover I recommend it 200%
Magnificent castle, very well maintained, beautiful decoration. Spacious room, comfortable bedding. Only downside: we would have preferred a shower rather than a bathtub (not practical without a shower curtain...). Absolute calm, splendid setting on the Tarn, excellent restaurant.
Is a Unique hotel & restaurant
Restaurant dinners slightly disappointing.
Separate toilet, without hand wash basin means that one must cross the room to the bathroom to wash hands, disturbing sleping partner
Magnificent castle on the banks of the Tarn with swimming pool. The place is very quiet in October, the room is spacious and the bedding comfortable. The breakfast is very generous. We had dinner at the restaurant, the dishes are excellent.
The bathrooms need to be reviewed (shower mixer) and for rooms with a bathtub, put a curtain there so as not to flood the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was very good.
The property itself and its location is absolutely wonderful and everything my wife dreamed of when asking to "spend at least one night in a castle" on our trip. A minor issue with the toilet valve running and needing tinkering did not spoil an otherwise appropriate for the setting room/bathroom design. Not sure about other rooms, but note that our room had a large antique four leg tub without any shower or curtain. There is a handheld wand but you need to be careful not to spray about. We found it charming but just wanted to alert other guests.
I'm still not clear why our initial reservation through Expedia which is how we found this property was abruptly cancelled, but we were thankfully able to rebook through Logis on the property website. Apparently there was a rate change between our booking and when my wife went to checkout without me she was charged the new higher rate. I then had to return to the office to correct the charges.
Excellent welcome and very high quality. A place to visit because it is remarkable.
We had an excellent stay in this superb castle nestled in the Tarn gorges, run by a very welcoming young couple.
magnificent experience! perfect welcome, unforgettable setting, superb room and excellent meal, as well as the service. The qualifiers are not strong enough! I recommend for an exceptional stay
Perfect in every way Hotel Staff Comfort Restaurant Service
fantastic and magical
Superb castle, very beautiful comfortable room. Excellent dinner.
Loved staying in a castle with all the niceties of a good hotel. The area is amazing. Our dinner at the hotel was very gourmet and fun, a LOT of food though. Our only complaint would lack of a shower, we aren’t used to bathing in a tub.
Very pleasant stay at the castle. One downside, concerning the payment, we wanted to pay part of it by Connect holiday vouchers, the owner did not know how to pay by telephone.😡 They only knew them by paper. Which I find shameful 😡 when I called to reserve for 2 nights at the castle, I had the owner who confirmed to me that they took holiday vouchers. Unfortunately, I did not have the choice to pay by credit card. I called the castle of la Caze again to let them know and explain my dissatisfaction, I had the owner who replied that I had to tell her when I booked that I had Connect holiday vouchers. I really did not find her response very professional compared to such a highly rated and classified establishment 😡 Knowing that on the site of the castle of la Caze, you have the logos of the regulations with that of ancv (holiday vouchers). Being the owner of the Château de la Caze, it was up to her to tell me on the day of the reservation and payment with holiday vouchers, that she did not accept Connect holiday vouchers. This lady, owner of the Château de la Caze, should have had a commercial gesture, as well as her husband who cashed us 😡 Unfortunately we will not come again 😡, despite the beauty of this residence. This was the second time we came.🙏 On the other hand, the staff is very professional 👍
Everything is perfect, only the description of "walk-in shower" in the suite outside the castle is excessive.
Our stay at Chateau de la Caze was an exceptionally good experience. The views along the high access road and the environs of the castle were magical. We regret that we only stayed a single night - a big mistake. Next time we will certainly spend 2-3 days. The reception was excellent, as was the the restaurant meal. As a North American traveler, I would only suggest that a strict no-smoking policy be implemented on the terrace during restaurant hours. Many foreign travelers are disgusted by cigarette smoke during their meal, particularly at fine restaurants. France and Italy fall far behind the global trend in this respect - restaurants need to be progressive trend-setters, because it is certainly within their right to do so! Also, the bathroom had a beautiful claw-foot bathtub which was incredibly awkward and difficult to bathe in. Most travelers now expect a stand-up shower. Please consider adding a glass shower stall in the guestrooms, as there is easily enough room to do so while retaining that signature tub. Every other part of our experience was first-rate!
I booked this hotel for my parents, for a stopover on the way to their vacation. I chose an Elegance room. They were delighted by, I quote, the exceptional location, the attentive staff and the quality restaurant with a certain originality. My parents are not so easy to delight, especially from a gastronomic point of view. So I sincerely thank you for the warm welcome you gave them! Looking at the photos they sent us, it makes us want to come too! Thank you again!
The Hotel and the stuff were very good!
Why not the best rating? - The territory, as well as the parking place were under zero.
It seems that the Garderner died 10 years ago and nobody took care about this beautiful ( long ago) garden.
Parking place wasn't a "Parking". They could easily say to us that we can park our car in the nearest forest, between the trees. It would be eqial. Moreover, there were no lights in the evening and at night there...
2. A restaurant that claims to have high cuisine and service must be perfectly clean. In this case, all the corners were covered with cobwebs and live spiders. The same "guests" were behind the curtains and under the tables. It does not look like "Castle design" :) They must work on that matter.
Very beautiful place, excellent outdoor facilities (swimming pool, etc.), top-notch culinary experience, very good wine cellar.
Excellent
A beautiful place. The staff is attentive and the chef is simply incredible. We highly recommend it!
Great place and very nice staff!
The setting is truly idyllic. Everything was perfect! Having booked a little late, we were unable to get a room in the castle, but we will definitely come back another time to try a night at the castle.
Excellent welcome, young, dynamic and attentive team. Exceptional setting, very comfortable rooms. We really appreciated being able to leave directly from the castle by canoe to descend the gorges.
Magnificent hotel in a magnificent natural setting. The bedding was very comfortable and the room spacious. Very warm welcome. The only downside is the price of an extra bed for a child is €30 per night, which we found excessive.
We've been coming for years and absolutely love it here, it's a magical place!
Magnificent castle on the banks of the Tarn Very quiet Very well maintained both inside and out Very pleasant staff
.
Exceptional and original setting and environment A welcome that puts you at ease A few small points that could be improved such as the TV, the wifi, but we understand that at that time it was not designed for that!!!
Hello, Our experience at your castle was wonderful. However, regarding the quality of the venue and the services offered, we found a discrepancy between the information on the website and the reality regarding the fitness equipment and the jacuzzi, which was not very clean.
Beautiful setting, excellent accommodation
A relaxing and positive experience. Breakfast and the evening meal were served on the terrace and were excellent.
The temptation of staying in a "Chateau" was too much for me when planning a visit to the Gorges du Tarn. The experience we had was first rate from arrival to leaving. The area is beautiful, the accommodation stunning and meals we enjoyed where all fantastic. I took the opportunity to kayak to La Malene and was returned to the hotel efficiently and quickly. From romantic getaways to luxury family holidays I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.
Such a beautiful place in a stunning setting! We felt welcomed and relaxed.
Everything was fabulous!
It is a wonderful place, the owners, a young couple, are very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The buffet breakfast offers a wide choice of quality products (hot or cold drinks), pastries, 3 different breads, dairy products, etc. The photos presented on the site correspond well to reality.
A uniquely beautiful hotel with stylish renovations of the historic rooms and modern, very tastefully decorated bathrooms. The restaurant has also been beautifully renovated, and breakfast is served on the terrace. The pool is large and pleasantly warm. The private "beach" on the Tarn River is also very beautiful (stones, not sand). The dinner and wine are reasonably priced and of outstanding quality.
This was a special event for us. So it was a splash out.
The location and accommodation in the Chateau was fantastic.
Natalie and Laëtitia were welcoming ,friendly and helpful.
The pool area was immaculately kept.
The meals were delicious and well presented.
Unique location in an old Château médiéval from 1490. Team is very nice and service oriented and loves to share their place. We had a great dinner with amazing view on the Tarn river. We traveled with my parents and my brother and had a great time in chateau de la caze. We can recommend to stay in this unique historical location and you will enjoy a great time!
A beautiful castle in a superb setting. It feels great. That's why we came back!
Fabulous accommodation and the staff are very helful. We had dinner there and it was exceptional. Great experience all round, highly recommended.
Magnificent residence in a superb setting! The owners are adorable! The comfort of the rooms is excellent.
Very warm welcome, professional staff, well-being

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was excellent in every way: friendly, kind, and attentive. The room was lovely, and the setting enchanting. However, a few minor details were inconvenient. In the suite, there was only a TV on the bed side. If you book a suite with a living room, it's so you can work and, incidentally, watch TV while the other person sleeps, but this wasn't possible here. The breakfast was just acceptable for the price: three basic cheeses (Brie, Comté, Emmental), scrambled eggs that were far from excellent, and ultimately, it felt inadequate. There was a bit of everything, but nothing exceptional (a few local products, though), but overall, it gave the impression of a breakfast that didn't live up to the price. The waiter was kind and very professional. On the other hand, the meals in the restaurant were excellent. The chef cooks divinely, and the waitress was very professional and friendly.
