Tamariu Bay is in a splendid setting between the sea and the mountains on a coast much loved by sunseekers. The area also has much to offer for food lovers, culture vultures and sports enthusiasts, all in a truly spectacular natural environment. You will find everything you need just a few short steps from the hotel. As for nature lovers, they can discover our superb coastal paths which offer spectacular views, or visit the botanical garden of Cape Roig in the village of Calella de Palafrugell, or climb to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the views of Calella or Llafranc (to the south), and the vast expanse of the Meditterranean sea (to the east). A whole pocket universe is yours to discover: a multitude of beaches along the coast, boat trips to discover hidden coves and creeks, underwater diving centres for observing a sea bed that compares favourably with any other in the world, paths for discovering the surrounding countryside. Those in search of cultural inspiration can visit the cork museum of Palafrugell, the Josep Pla foundation (internationally-renowned Catalan writer) or the Vila-Casas foundation, whose exhibitions are regularly renewed. Less than a 15' drive away are the medieval villages of Pals, Peratallada, Palau-Sator, and others less well-known but just as interesting. A large selection of leisure activities are also at your disposal: riding stables just 5' away, go-kart track, fishing, cycling… or the children's fun park in the village of Palafrugell. And if shopping or nightlife is your thing, the village of Platja d’Aro is just 25km away. This is where night owls will find bars, discotheques and other festive locations.
