Hotel met ambiance, waar wij van houden. Beetje ouderwets uit tijden van weleer. Ontvangst hartelijk, zeer aardige bediening 's avonds in restaurant, waar wij prima gegeten hebben. Ontbijt met yoghurtjes (met o.a. muesli), pain au chocolat, stokbrood, croissants, vruchtensappen (uit flessen), diverse kazen in verpakking, 'home made' jam, thee en koffie. Prima voor ons. Het was de tweede keer in dit hotel en als je van niet te modern en echt Frans houdt is dit de plek voor je.

A hotel that will make you rediscover the well-being of another era. Conviviality is not an empty word; while being professional, the welcome is warm and friendly. To hell with the sanitized decor of tasteless hotel chains. At the Remotel, with its Empire architectural style and the contact with the bar's regular customers, you expect to encounter Hercule Poirot or Maigret at every corner of the corridor. Certainly, some will specify "in its original state" or "needs updating," but let's keep in mind that the value for money is very good, both in terms of the room rate and the restaurant prices. The gourmet menu is offered at a price, not to say, ridiculous. If some things could be improved, they are largely compensated by the friendly and communicative warmth of the entire team. Every contact was pleasant, whether with the owners, the dining room staff (thanks to the lady who advised us on our walks using public transport), or even the cleaning lady.

Quiet and comfortable, very clean. Friendly welcome, unusual decor. The meal was just very disappointing, but for a more than fair price.

Een gedateerd maar desalniettemin erg aangenaam hotel. Ouderwets frans hotel wat zijn oude glorie iets heeft verloren. Ik waan me in de jaren 80. Schone kamer, Goed eten en prima ontbijt. Restaurant serveert authentiek frans eten op redelijk tot goed niveau. Zeker een herhalingsbezoek waard. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Hotel a bit old but we knew that when booking there but quality service, clean rooms with what you need for a good stay. At the restaurant, for me the waiters asked too often if everything was okay. The breakfast is good but without real variety. I also don't understand why, in France, while the quality of bakery products is very good, hotels continue to offer bread and pastries reheated in the oven. I still recommend this place which was well located for the walks we did both nearby and towards Metz!
The hotel is in total decline, even in freewheeling mode. I will not return.
Heerlijk wat geantidateerd hotel, super vriendelijke eigenaren, die bij late aankomst de reeds gesloten restaurant toch bereid zijn een hapje klaar te maken. Kortom een hotel waar ik zeker weer terug zal gaan.
Disappointing and aging set.
Too bad the room is spacious, clean and quiet. But we were cold: the additional heating was not turned on before our arrival, not to mention the smell of the pipes... The feedback we made directly when we left was neither hot nor cold: "I will report it to the cleaning ladies"... We will not repeat the experience.

Please note that the modern hotel does not have the same heel as it does for you. Eten is uitmuntend. Prijs-kwaliteit ook, met menu's name. Leuke wijnkaart en ook hier veel waar voor je geld. Supervriendelijke mensen, maar je moet wel Frans spreken. Kamer netjes, bed helaas te klein. Minpuntje net als het bijt. The price remains at the same time as the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is very old, what is charming. But some things need to be replaced: the rollershutter did not work properly, the bed and matress are not comfortable and using blankets or the beds are really not hyginic anymore.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Quality bedding This is the 3rd time we have come to this establishment. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Downright dingy and not fresh. It is an old building but everything feels dirty. I don't understand why you, as a European Logis Club, recommend these types of hotels. Food also very mediocre despite good intentions. In the end I skipped breakfast. This was supposed to be served at 0700, but after 20 minutes they came downstairs. €220 a waste of money!!!
Well located and quiet hotel. Pleasant staff and small, accessible and inexpensive restaurant.
Good evening, the rooms are nice, the restaurant too, the breakfast is a little light... no cold meats, vacuum-packed cheese for 11 Euros I've already seen better.
Huge room, large bathroom, excellent price/quality
Hotel to which I cannot give an age. Standard equipment, timeless but in good condition. Recent bedroom door frames. February, heating (electric) turned off and yet the room is not cold but for once we are not suffocating. Recent, firm bedding. No duvet but blanket and bedspread. Great, we don't sweat. My best night in a hotel in a while.
Okay stay if you have to be in the area, you get what you pay for... Heating only worked in the room, not in the bathroom. A place where time has stood still since the 1970s also has its charm.
