Warm welcome in a beautiful Normandy countryside setting, very comfortable room and excellent cuisine! Highly recommended

We had a wonderful, peaceful overnight stay with a fantastic dinner. We've been here a few times before and hope to return. It's a shame that only one option is given for why this hotel was chosen; there are several reasons.
WARM WELCOME RELAXING PLACE
Hello, very nice place with a beautiful courtyard and a beautiful park..... Disappointed by the room: - DAMP bedding - Toilet brush not quite clean - No window in the toilet, VMC not powerful enough - The window of the room has not been opened for 10 years...!...big old cobwebs.!. The person who serves breakfast never smiled, and did not even look at people In the restaurant: the little waiter and the lady of a certain age who served on the terrace were very pleasant, on the other hand: too much waiting between dishes and not hot enough, or even barely warm...
Needs a bit of updating regarding the sanitary facilities Ex: Large bathtub with the bar for the shower head which no longer holds very well to the wall Otherwise the setting is magnificent and very calm and relaxing
Very comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet location. Service exceptional from all staff. The food is excellent quality with great use of local produce. This was our third stay here and we will continue to come back if these standards are maintained

Magnificent setting, refined dining and perfect room
Great location in the quiet countryside about an hour from Caen ferry. Cuisine was amazing with chef cooking on feu du bois in the hearth in the dining room. Atmospheric old buildings in the Normandy manor style. Great sleep!

We were very happy with our stay which was a overnight stop on the first day of our holiday. Very confortable room and excellent food. We will certainly return if we are taking a similar route in the future.

This is a charming hotel in a beautiful rural setting. The French family who own and run it are very welcoming. The cuisine is based on superb local products and cooked to the highest standards. We had a very enjoyable stay here.

We arrived at this beautiful manor house, the host was warm and welcoming.
The accommodation was very clean.

Though we only stayed one night as we traveled between sites, this was a very pleasant experience. Sorry we were not able to stay longer. The facility isa 400 year old manor house with additional out buildings, The property is very pleasing, the staff (owners) was very accomidating with us. The restaurant was very good, main courses were prepared over the fireplace (cooking the meats) in the room. Quite an experience.
