Excellent place to stay! The comfortable rooms, the peaceful surroundings, the friendly staff and the consistently high quality of the food.

Booked and charged for a superior room, for the views and possible balcony but was given a comfort room overlooking the bins (a previous reviewer mentioned the bin room but I didn't believe it would be provided as a superior room - it was). We argued to get the room we booked but that night was full. The second night we were offered a front room - all superior - but chose a balcony room instead (superior all the same price). It was a larger room with lovely views and a balcony you could use. Shower ceiling was very mouldy but other than that it was what we expected. No refund or compensation offered for the night spent in the inferior room and nothing from Logis either. This has already cost them 4 bookings as we avoided their properties for the rest of our holiday. By the way the hotel name is Fronton so the car park is beyond that - we were looking for Maison Bonnet but that's really just the restaurant which was closed both days.
Great welcome from the staff! We recommend this hotel. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and were pleasantly surprised to find a small village festival right in the square below with a night market, which gave us a taste of the holidays without the noise bothering us once we were in the room. We will be back with great pleasure on our way to Portugal or back! Thank you for your welcome.
The room overlooking the backyard with only the trash cans as a view was a big disappointment. It might be a good idea to specify the price based on the side the room is on. I am very disappointed to have paid €179 for a view of the trash cans.

A great place to remember if you want to visit the "Real" Basque Country. Sandrine will welcome you perfectly and will be able to advise you on the good addresses and walks with superb "spots" of easy levels. We were not able to enjoy the catering because it was a closing day even if the half-board option is possible. We will therefore come back.
