Logis Hôtel Lou Granva

We spent one night in this establishment during our trip in mid-November. The hotel is geographically very well located for motorcycle trips, good welcome in the stopover formula, we ate well and the breakfast was decent, no garage for motorcycles but a parking lot with video surveillance.

We went there with our dog. No problems at all with her, either at the hotel or nearby. In addition, the hotel has a very large park.

Positive experience regarding the rooms, cleanliness, bar/restaurant decor, and location of the hotel. However, for the half-board option, the quantities were very small, but the food was of very good quality. Table service was average.

We only stayed one night, but the room was very nice, especially the view of the lake. The breakfast was very varied and the room very pleasant, with a view of the lake. We will definitely come back for a weekend and enjoy the very pretty environment of the hotel and the swimming pool this time!

Superbly located hotel with a magnificent view of the lake. We weren't able to try the restaurant because it was full, but there are plenty of options 5 minutes away. Comfortable bedding. Very decent breakfast.

Arrived after 5:00 p.m. Very average and very uncomfortable welcome, there must have been a reception because there were a lot of people there and it was very noisy. We had chosen this hotel for the presence of its restaurant and other small services such as parking, wifi... We were quickly informed that we could not eat in the evening at the restaurant and this for the two days it was already full and no arrangement possible. We were told a restaurant nearby but it was closed the next day which meant we had to go outside the village. We did not install wifi, it had not worked since the morning and the person who took care of it was not there. We were seen as the couple of em......r they made us feel it. We called the next hotel on our journey which agreed to receive us a day before with the guarantee of evening meals reserved as a priority for its customers. We therefore shortened our stay by one day without regret. This is the first time in many years that we have been using Logis Hôtel that we are disappointed to this extent, hoping not to have to suffer this type of inconvenience again.

Good location of the hotel, nice place. However, pay attention to the cleanliness of the floors in the rooms. Otherwise the staff is very kind and attentive.

Very well located hotel on the lake. Pleasant terrace, friendly welcome, good and generous breakfast and evening meals, very friendly staff who take great care of their guests. We appreciated the wellness area (pool, sauna, hammam, SPA). Some improvements could be made in the rooms such as a small refrigerator and hooks in the bathroom.

Very pleasant hotel restaurant

It's been 34 years since we held our wedding party in this beautiful hotel on the shores of Lac de L'Abbaye. All our guests were accommodated in the upstairs rooms with its panoramic view of the lake and its fabulous sunset... Well, 34 years later, having become Burgundians in our turn, and on the occasion of my dad's 90th birthday, we were able to live this experience by finally sleeping in one of the beautiful rooms of this family-run hotel offering excellent food! Its breakfasts, served in the veranda area, are excellent? Very varied and are served indoors as well as in good weather outside on the terrace with the old abbey and its church as a backdrop, and its green setting reflecting in the waters of the lake. Thank you Francis and Dolores for being at the helm of this hotel, representing the third generation of this family of Grandvalliers hoteliers. Congratulations on the beautiful facelift in your reception hall. We promise, my husband and I will come back to stay there for a few days to appreciate the peace and serenity, enjoy the good food and admire the landscapes crisscrossed long and long at the wheel of one of our coaches. Good luck and long live the arrival of the 4th generation who will soon take over the helm.

We had a very good stay with an impeccable and warm welcome from the staff who were able to perfectly guide us and answer our questions. The room was spacious and the bedding very comfortable, not to mention the breathtaking view of the lake. The half-board menu was varied and delicious and the staff very accommodating to dietary preferences. The plates were gourmet and beautifully presented. A large selection of local and foreign wines allowed us to accompany the dishes harmoniously thanks to the advice of the waiters. The various services provided were well maintained and pleasant. We will recommend this hotel without hesitation!

Stay spoiled by a very strong smell of burning, so pungent that it woke us up at night despite the window being open, which appeared halfway through our stay. Reported to the managers who had neither explanation nor solution to offer us. We therefore had to cut our stay short.

We are delighted to have discovered this hotel in the heart of the Jura region and its magnificent forests. Our room overlooking the lake was very comfortable. The chef delighted us. We will keep this address to return and will spread the word.

A hotel ideally located for hiking. The welcome and the staff are very warm and smiling. We had half board, the breakfast was generous, sugar, salt...excellent and the dinners very varied, balanced and above all delicious. Refined cuisine and large selection of wines (huge cellar). The only small downside was that the triple room on the lake was old-fashioned and would need a more modern renovation, as would the bathroom (dark brown bathtub). I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good meal with top service. Bravo to the sommelier for his explanation about gentian alcohol. One regret! The weather was very stormy. But the indoor pool is very beautiful. Fantastic place, however, it was impossible to have dinner that evening for an unknown reason.

Completely satisfied with our 5-day stay: comfort, location, quality of welcome, and services. The place is very relaxing, the room with a lake view, large and clean; the pool and terrace are easy to access and well-appointed. We had a very good stay. One downside may be the price of the restaurant dishes, a little high, and a menu that would benefit from being a little broader in choice and variety. Electric charging station accessible.

A lot of amenities for a 2 star hotel. Large rooms, basic but had all you need.

Establishment with great potential but lacking rigor. Many small details that devalue this hotel restaurant. Alternating every other day between the sauna and the hammam, no footbath (leak), poor sauna lighting, illegible thermometer, defective door seal. No surveillance camera or alarm system in case of problem (Telephone). No access to the outdoor terrace (planned!). No air conditioning in the room (107), impossible to open the window in the evening because of mosquitoes. No refrigerator. Inadequate television position. Lots of bulky objects on the grounds: Pallets, old chairs, tables. No access for disabled people: central door and swimming pool by stairs. Small bathroom. Friendly welcome after calling from the reception counter (minimal staff). Varied menu over 6 days of good quality and generous. Efficient service. Bright restaurant room, different table assigned each evening. Decent breakfast good fruit salad, cheese, cold meats, homemade yogurt. Hot water distribution through the kitchen for the teapot is desirable (4 water pressures on the automatic machine, waiting for other users). Very quiet location, very good soundproofing of the room. Parking in front of the hotel is adequate. Access from the road is very well signposted. Thank you for your welcome. I hope my comments will be constructive in regaining your 3 stars.

We regularly come to this establishment where we feel good. Magnificent view of the lake and in the middle of a region rich in curiosities and remarkable sites. The restaurant regularly renews the presentation of its regional dishes. During our stay this weekend, we were admirably advised by the sommelier/server, with detailed explanations on the products. We were a little worried about the speed of the service, a group of 30 people dining at the same time as us, but this was not the case: the service was fast and impeccable. We plan to return again this year.

Lack of facilities for hanging towels in the bathroom, No luck, the elevator was broken, no luck either, the coffee machine was broken and the staff in disarray.

Already, during a preliminary phone call, I really felt like I was disturbing. The welcome, upon our arrival, was okay, bordering on cold. The same upon our departure, and throughout our stay. Well, still, a little warmth, kindness, is a minimum, for a hotel, right? There, it really "weakened" our stay. Really a shame... Only the lady in service, during dinner, was extremely friendly

The price for the room plus breakfast are higher than expected given the location and the fact that I stayed there off season. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, and excellent. So overall, good value!

I had a discussion about the half board that I had booked over the website. The Restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and we have to Pay for the half Board for Thursday and Friday an extra Charge of 25€ per person per day. The breakfast was okay for 16€ per person and the diner was good.

Friendly welcome, but unfortunately, no information on the Logis website that there was no restaurant service. Not the hotelier's fault, of course. A slightly unpleasant sewer smell in the hallway when you arrive in the rooms on the first floor. The hotel must have been great, but unfortunately, it's very old. A touch of renovation would have been welcome. This remains my only opinion, and I'm sure many people will appreciate it, but I like modernity. The setting remains superb, and the place is completely peaceful.

A pleasant stay in a welcoming establishment. A great indoor pool. The restaurant has been renovated and is very pleasant, with a fireplace and billiards area. The bedding is too firm and there are a few small things to be done in the bathroom, such as the leaking shower faucet and broken sink drain. The curtain rod is broken. In short, good value for money.

The welcome was very pleasant upon our arrival, the location and the property were great. The owner was very cheerful and welcoming, seemed very happy to be among the customers and communicated it, just perhaps a little less haste would allow us not to serve too quickly and bring the starter while we started our aperitif. The first black point is the diversity of the meals, on Friday evening the salmon was accompanied by potatoes, flat beans and julienne of carrots, parsnips with winter radishes as decoration. On Saturday lunchtime we had decided to stay on site, the €35 menu offered a plate of foie gras accompanied by jam and gingerbread, the only sweet side with the foie gras is not really judicious, a chutney would have brought a welcome acid note, then we decided to choose a dish of vegetarian tagliattelle with mushrooms because the meat offered was chicken breast and in the evening we knew that chicken was planned. We were disappointed because the dish was not salty at all and even with the salt shaker on the table it was impossible to get the taste back. In the evening the chicken, although good, was accompanied by the same sauce as the pasta at lunch and we found the vegetables from the day before with a potato gratin, green beans, julienne of vegetables, in short, no change. If we are aware of being in a family hotel and not a gourmet restaurant, a little diversity would be welcome. There are enough winter vegetables to vary the meals. The last black point was the overly pushy attitude of the waiter, we were with a young German shepherd which is apparently a breed known and loved by him, so from the start he came to us to talk about it, insisting despite our refusal that we come with him to the dining room. At mealtime, the conversation quickly became directive. We told him that we had problems with our dog, who is being monitored by a behavioral veterinarian and an educator, but he absolutely wanted to convince us that we had to change our way of doing things, and in particular, no longer use the harness but a collar. Even when explaining to him that everything had already been tried, without any real progress and that we were following the training instructions, it was difficult to make ourselves heard. I had to raise my voice and ask him to stop judging our method of training an animal we had seen briefly in order to stop a sterile conversation. It would be good if this person remembered the main quality required of dining room service, namely discretion and customer service. I can tell you that this weekend in your hotel was not what I wanted, namely a relaxing getaway for our wedding anniversary.

Hotel in a magnificent location, ideally located for visiting this corner of the JURA, close to Les Rousses, the Hérisson waterfalls, the Pic de l'Aigle and the 4 lakes.... Numerous hikes. The hotel is very pleasant and well-equipped (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, haman), which is appreciated after a day of sightseeing and hiking. The team takes great care of its guests. We had an excellent stay. We opted for half-board and we were very satisfied: unlimited buffet breakfast; hearty dinner, with elaborate dishes; all this with homemade or regional products. I recommend this option. We thank our hosts for this very pleasant stay.

Mixed experience in this hotel, especially on the catering part. The vegetarian half-board option is not offered. For a stay of several days, the menu offers tagliatelle with mushrooms at 20 euros as a vegetarian dish. Few alternatives and no suggestions to adapt (omelette or others). In addition, the service is endless (2h30 for starter, main course, dessert in the evening) +. A glaring lack of staff in the restaurant who do their best to keep us waiting. The room redone in a hurry (the duvet has just been raised, the bottom sheet not repositioned which was hanging down). And concerning the wellness area, hammam and sauna operate alternately 1 day out of 2 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The welcome brochure specifies that hammam and sauna can be started on request, but this was refused for Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Too bad!!!

A hotel ideally located on the edge of the lake. No close neighbors so quiet. Parking without problem and quite far from the road. Ideal for resting if you don't feel like visiting. The staff is welcoming and available. An excellent stay.

We had a very good stay, the hotel is very nice (the owner and the owner are very friendly) just a little service missed on Valentine's Day. But overall it was very good.

A very nice stay in this establishment. Spacious and renovated room, very appreciated facilities (swimming pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi), a restaurant where local products are acclaimed. If we have to add a downside, perhaps some members of staff could be more smiley...but that does not detract from their professionalism :-)

What a fabulous place. In the heart of nature, in front of the Abbey Lake, you can completely disconnect. Warm and caring welcome. The view is breathtaking. The small dishes are delicious. And the swimming pool and the spa allow you to relax after a beautiful walk around the lake.

Very well located hotel on the edge of the lake. Magnificent view. The bathroom does not have a towel rack. Poor WiFi performance in our room. We had an excellent stay just like the first time we came.

We spent 4 days half-board for New Year's Eve and we had an excellent stay: top welcome from the owner and the waiters, quality of the cuisine and entertainment for the evening of December 31, everything was perfect!

Recently refurbished hotel. Our room was also renovated except for the bathroom and main entrance. The restaurant and our room had gorgeous views over the lake where we could see people ice skating.

Well-run family establishment located in a very pleasant natural setting. Comfortable and well-maintained accommodation with satisfactory facilities. Very good cuisine. I recommend this establishment for short or medium-term stays in any season. The Jura deserves to be discovered or rediscovered in any season.

We had only come for one night and wanted to enjoy the spa. Unfortunately hammam does not work jaccouzi the water was very cold because it had just been changed the pool a little cool than the sauna which really works. A little disappointing when you want to come and relax and who. Pay for a service to do 15 min of sauna only. I reported it twice but no commercial gesture we asked if we could enjoy the spa a little before leaving the next morning this was refused ... I find it a shame for the commercial side it cools especially when you go out and pay for the service that we did not have. Pat against the restaurant is really delicious a high-end meal nothing to complain about

Welcome and departure a little distant, it's better in the restaurant. Good dinner, sufficient breakfast with sweet and savory products, yogurts and cheese are excellent. Nice room for breakfast, but canteen style, no tablecloth, plastic tray... not very cozy, the restaurant room also lacks a little warmth.

We have just spent Christmas at the Lou Granva hotel with our children and grandchildren (3 days for 15 people)........everything came together to make this stay magical! the snow and the sun were there! the owners and their children were welcoming, accommodating and very pleasant as well as the whole team including David who was attentive and so helpful! Simple and family atmosphere as we like! swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam, cozy lounge area with its fireplace very much appreciated by all! quality meals! Excellent Christmas brunch! Varied and plentiful breakfast! We are delighted; our children thank us for this good choice; young and old loved it! we will return for sure! and many of our friends ask us for the address.............. Thanks to Dolorès, her husband (chef) and her children, you spoiled us and treated us! Good luck! May 2025 bring you the best and a well-deserved additional star!

Great, it deserves much better than a 2 star (we learned on site that it was going to go 3), great spa (free to boot), great restaurant, bravo to the chef, and David's service is TOP! We are delighted and I shared it on Google too

Nous avons apprécié la vue et la tranquillité. La literie est confortable. Mais nous avons quand même été déçus. Cet hôtel n'est pas convivial, c'est très sobre, il n'y a pas de décoration et les gens qui y travaillent ne sont pas aimables et il manque du personnel, il faut un peu se débrouiller tout seul. L'hôtel a une piscine et un jacuzzi mais ils fournissent les serviettes uniquement contre une caution et les peignoirs sont en location (on aurait préféré être avertis avant, nous aurions pris des serviettes dans nos bagages) Il n'y a pas de chaises sur les balcons ce qui est vraiment très décevant. Au restaurant le prix du menu est cher par rapport à ce qui est servi et nous avons été surpris d'avoir en accompagnement du risotto au comté avec des filets de perche et du poulet.

Well done to the chef in the kitchen...who offered us excellent food even if too hearty for the evening.
