The room #7 we had (room with terrace) was spacious and pleasant with a large bed and quality bedding. A small bottle of water would not be a luxury!

I find the night a little expensive. I had asked for special attention for my friend's birthday which had been confirmed by email, but not respected in the evening at dinner. So I was disappointed on this subject.

Excellent restaurant. Room well equipped and met requirements. Only comment is that the room had a kettle but we couldn't find a plug to use it safely, although this didn’t really affect us.
A very nice discovery of the Hostellerie des Ducs, we stayed 3 nights in room 7 with terrace and view of the castle of Duras and the countryside and we took advantage of all the relaxation and comfort services that the establishment offers pure happiness In addition equipped with free and secure parking We feel like we are We also appreciated the restaurant and the quality of the dishes Not to mention the Blanchet family and its smiling, friendly and very professional staff always ready to help you so that your stay is perfect Restaurateurs and hoteliers with great professionalism and who love their job thank you again We will come back it is on Mr and Mrs Perez
Lovely hotel and wonderful dinner!
Very picturesque property with nice outdoor seating area. Hotel set in a beautiful area. Room very worn and in need of make over. Floor was lifting and bubbled and needs maintenance. Wifi was an additional charge and was the worst ever experienced! Did not participate in breakfast as additional charge, did not use the gym or pool area as additional charge. All quite disappointing at nearly £100 per night!
A warm welcome from a team that bends over backwards to satisfy customers, a pleasant place and an exquisite meal. I obviously recommend making the detour to enjoy it.

The Hostellerie des Ducs is an establishment where we always enjoy returning. The quality of the welcome but also the comfort and the very nice menu of the restaurant make it an essential hotel when you come to the region. When I am less than 100 kilometers away, I make a detour to come and stay there for my greatest pleasure!!! I would come back with great pleasure to this very good establishment.

I had booked a standard room but it had no power outlets. So not up to date anymore. Complained at the reception and after a phone call by the receptionist we were rebooked to another, more luxurious room with sufficient power outlets.
Address to recommend without hesitation. Very high quality establishment, run by the family for over 40 years. Charming, friendly, delicious.

A hotel where you feel good. A very friendly welcome a stone's throw from the Château de Duras, and with a small swimming pool and parking, ideal as a base for visiting the northwest of Lot et Garonne. And an excellent restaurant. In short, a very nice experience.

We went to this establishment on recommendation, we were delighted with our short stay. We will come back without hesitation. Everything is perfect and beautiful. Breakfast and dinner: excellent. If you are in DURAS, stop at this establishment, you will not be disappointed.
It was ok. Easy check in, no forms. Easy out bill pay by card. Rooms are upstairs, no elevator, you carry your havy luggage. Nice Airconditioning, clean and lovely beds and sheets. Tiny bathroom. Also everything seems small, narrow and a bit outdated. Breakfast buffet good and plenty of choices, but in a small area. Great parking, nice garden, small pool with closing hours at 7.00 pm evenings in Sommer time!!

Despite deplorable customer relations and room decoration that is not to my taste, the hotel stands out for its enchanting setting. The chef's cuisine, a true gastronomic apotheosis, elevates the experience to a divine level.
The hotel setting is very pleasant and the chef's cuisine is simply divine. However, the decoration of the rooms is not to my taste. The big downside remains customer relations, which really lacks professionalism and is borderline aggressive.

Our parents stayed at the Hostellerie des Ducs in 1980, a year after it opened. They really enjoyed their stay... We came for one night on May 31. We appreciated all the services at their fair value: the magnificent setting, the cleanliness of the rooms, the breakfast. Very nice establishment, with very efficient seminar equipment (team of 20 people). Plus the setting and the table are exceptional!

Overall, a stay with good value for money but mainly for the catering part. Stopover package is around €105, which is correct but there is a big difference between the restaurant which is really excellent, in particular the evening menu offered which is copious, elaborate, and the hotel part which is a little bit aging, the rooms correct but nothing more (notably the bathroom with very narrow shower and curtain... Breakfast between the two, the products offered are correct but little choice and above all lack of quantity (many customers have couldn't get any pastries) and the staff doesn't look to restock So overall, a bit in between but to go there at least for the catering part A little disappointed also with the parking which only allows for a few cars.

Rooms are rustic, cozy, comfortable and clean We especially enjoyed our evening meal in the hotel restaurant, it was honestly suberb! Duras village is beautiful with the castle, a couple of cafe/restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance. An added bonus to have on site parking. We would highly recommend this hotel, would definitely book again.

I have been frequenting the Hostellerie des Ducs for over 20 years. It is a blessing to be able to frequent such an establishment which, for 4 generations, has held French hospitality very high with a touch of the South West. Quality local produce with culinary creativity always revisited, all this with a generous smile, what more could you want? May it last as long as possible!

Despite arriving quite late, I was able to dine in an excellent manner where the quality of the food and choice were excellent. There is nothing to complain about the room and breakfast, everything was perfect. In summary, an excellent stopover at DURAS that I would happily repeat.

The room looked exactly like the pictures but it was not clear that the suites were in a separate building from the hotel. This involved crossing a road and climbing a fairly steep hill and a flight of stairs. Since these are the accessible rooms, this should have been specified on the hotel website. In practical terms this means that you cannot use the pool unless you are prepared to walk down the street in a bathing suit and bathrobe.

Hotel in a lovely setting … room exceptionally clean nice touches with tea making and tissues soap etc. room a little small and not sure about sliding door separating loo from bed which was broken and kept swinging about. Very thin walls could hear conversations and people using the toilet. Restaurant and staff amazing the food was exceptional. I would stay again but probably for one night whilst travelling through.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot in a beautiful area/village. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high when choosing a “hotel élégance” because this was not it. A lot of faded glory, small rooms (the owner offered us a larger room that was more expensive but still very small). We ate well, but we missed the “passion” that was in the description. The staff is correct but not enthusiastic. No love for the profession. The job must be done…
