I chose this hotel for its slightly old-fashioned charm, in the best possible way. I wasn't disappointed, as the room (junior suite) was very pleasant and the hotel is perfectly located for walking to the center of Auxerre: you park your car in the hotel parking lot and it becomes unnecessary. I didn't have time to stroll through the grounds or try the pool, but I will definitely return. The check-in/check-out process was very friendly, and you can enjoy a little pat for the adorable dog or admire the resident parrot. A few points for improvement: - When I arrived, as I was going up the front steps, a staff member was taking a cigarette break. I understand that everyone has their problems, but she barely acknowledged my greeting. This is detrimental to the hotel's image... - At breakfast, I had to choose my own knife and spoon because three or four were dirty... really dirty. The dishwasher needs replacing or the dishes need to be sorted before being made available to guests. There would be a wider selection of jams at breakfast: offering yellow fruits would be great (orange marmalade is usually a classic in hotels). But overall, please don't think of me as a "troublemaker" because I really enjoyed this hotel and I recommend it!

Hotel located near the city center, with parking and pedestrian access for sightseeing and outings. Beautiful urban park with a swimming pool. Check-in was quick and easy, yet courteous and friendly. My room faced the street but wasn't noisy, very functional and well-equipped with a large bathroom. A good sweet or savory breakfast is offered, accompanied by the regular "Have a good day" calls of a parrot (a real one!). I recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The managers are very welcoming and attentive, always ready to share great tips for exploring the city (their restaurant recommendations were perfect!). The place is peaceful, with a lovely little park, a parrot, and a cat that add to the friendly atmosphere. We can't wait to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy breakfast outside and the pool. A real gem!
A magnificent building right in the heart of Auxerre, where I'll gladly return this summer to enjoy the park and the pool. Just a short walk from the city center, with super friendly owners and a gargantuan breakfast! Not to mention the animals: the cat, the dog, and the parrot 😂

The hotel is currently being renovated by new owners who are gradually improving the premises. The parking is very convenient and the location is ideal for visiting Auxerre. The hosts are very welcoming. We highly recommend it.
