Quality hotel in a quiet location with a magnificent view of the countryside, warm welcome. Very pleasant restaurant. Everything is perfect, the meal was delicious as was the breakfast. I highly recommend it.

Just stayed for one night during travel through. Very nice region and I suggest the region delivers activities for more days. Nice breakfast and excellent Dinner opportunities. Dinner was extraordinary for meat lovers with excellent cost Performance Ratio. Little opportunities for vegeterians.

Very warm welcome and very pleasant establishment. The breakfast is fresh and varied, the swimming pool is welcome in the hot weather. We appreciated the quality of the room, both in terms of comfort and decor. Beautiful panorama...we will happily return for several days.

Superb hotel on the heights of Cublac, in the countryside, with a magnificent view and a large wooded park, ample parking and a superb swimming pool. Great welcome, kindness, very warm. My comment would be incomplete if I did not mention the kindness of the hostess whom I thank. We just regret that the fog did not allow us to enjoy the view which must be superb We highly recommend this establishment especially for travelers looking for parking away from risks, a comfortable and quiet room and a good restaurant on site

In our room, the television was far too small and the channel reception was very poor. Regarding breakfast, the pastries were poor quality and ridiculously small.

The hotel is located on top of a hill, hence the name. The view is absolutely magnificent over the landscape and villages below. The swimming pool is magnificent too, 16m long. The layer of paint on the bottom of the pool is coming off a little but the water is clean and the deckchairs and parasols are quality. The room was clean but the sofa bed for 2 was small and not straight when unfolded. The sheets were clean but the blankets were outdated fleece, 70s/80s style. These covers are not inspiring. A summer duvet with a duvet cover is better. This type of coverage is old fashioned and I don't understand why hotels still use them. I imagine they aren't washed for every new guest. Haven't had this on my body yet. There were only 2 armchairs quite stiff to sit on in the living room so not very comfortable, there is a lack of plump chairs in this room. Once the sofa bed is unfolded, only these 2 armchairs remain. The decor needs a facelift. The old cupboards don't look good either. There is also a lack of tea and/or coffee making facilities in the room. There is a small fridge to share on the landing. The room upstairs was clean with the bathroom clean but again the horrible fleece blankets. The bathroom was large and clean but the sliding toilet door opened by itself and had no lock. Clean towels and a good quantity. Balcony with view onto terrace ok but could have been a little cleaner. Expensive breakfast for what it is with very little choice. No choice of milk or plant-based yogurts for example. The sweet cakes were plentiful. Small pastries ok and the bread was good. Only soft, unsalted butter and no other choice than butter, so nothing for vegans. No breakfast tea, only Earl Grey. Good choice of fruits and jams. Dinner a bit expensive for what it is. Flavors ok but small quantity. The trout was decent but very few accompaniments with it. Service The gentleman was a bit cold in our opinion, the short-haired brunette lady very friendly and sympathetic and the blonde lady, cold during dinner service but nice the next day. Dogs are welcome which was great for us. Well-maintained gardens and terrace furniture ok, interior decor to be redone I think, especially the chairs in the restaurant which are a little outdated. The place is really beautiful and we would come back but we need to work on the details, particularly the hotel linen and breakfast. Outside The hotel is located on top of a hill, hence the name. Chalet 2 nights. Overall a feeling of abandonment! Entrance French window and almost HS wooden shutters. Out-of-date water heater. Gas pipe expired since 2022. Outdoor fire extinguisher without annual inspection sticker. Old equipment. Shower cabin and gas stove in good condition Too bad because the place is nice! The chalet deserves a serious refresh to bring it closer to the standard of the hotel. Nearby... an outdoor barbecue forgotten by the gods!
Very nice hotel, surrounded by nature, in a very well restored building. Good welcome. The allocated room was large, very well equipped (office a bit small for working, but what an idea to work in this place!), very clean. Very good bedding. The bathroom is also very clean and functional. Good quality WiFi, allows you to work. Very good quality restaurant (even for the evening stopover menu), very good service. Simple but complete breakfast.

Everything is perfect but one small downside: perhaps specified that not all services are accessible all year round, such as the swimming pool which we were not able to take advantage of.
