Alright
This is the third year and third time (stopover) that we have stayed at the Vieux Logis. Still as charming and with very dedicated and attentive staff. The food is top-notch, as is the wine cellar. We recommend it.
The welcome was friendly, the meal tasty, the staff attentive to our needs, we had a great evening. Breakfast offered a large and delicious selection.

unpleasantly disappointed head of establishment who called me the next day to tell me that I had made a noise at night while I was watching TV and that I had made numerous trips back and forth at 6 a.m....soundproof your rooms and your entrance doors and other customers will not come and complain but when I rent a room I watch TV if I want to watch it and I come and go freely if I need to and that's it!!! I was outraged by the content of your conversation the next morning

Negative point: opening only from 6 p.m. / no outdoor bins on the garden side / lighting too poor on the garden side / no air conditioning / poor hairdryer / shared parking for the hotel and the restaurant when you arrive on Saturday evening after 8 p.m. there is no more space to park. It should at least be marked on the ground to avoid leaving 1 m between each car. Positive point: very large room / great bedding / very large shower / very large television / magnificent and well-kept outdoor setting.
Night in the caravan for our return from vacation. A wonderful experience with a calm and relaxing environment.
Big mess in the reservations not taken care of by the owner, we had reserved a room with a double bed and a single bed, on arrival we were given another room with only a double bed, thank goodness we didn't have children! It was supposedly to avoid the heat but since the hotel was full why give us an advantage over another couple? Especially since there was no air conditioning and it was difficult to sleep in the heat that day. After complaining she ended up giving us the price of the room we actually had (cheaper than the one originally reserved) no extra gesture even though we ate there for around a hundred euros. In the photo we were also supposed to have a terrace she told us that the images on the site were not contractual. The meal on the other hand was very good and the staff professional. Cleanliness ok, shame to have your head against the shower wall when you go to the toilet, small power cuts of a few seconds.
We spent 3 nights at Vieux Fusil with our family, it was great. Restaurant: Simple and delicious cuisine. A treat. Hotel: perfect, very clean. Friendliness and top-notch service. A very pleasant setting. We recommend this establishment.
Excellent meal and breakfast. Nice room but a bit noisy on the road side and without air conditioning, it's hard to keep the windows closed in the summer.

2-night stay on a business trip as part of a stopover package. Le Vieux Fusil ticks all the boxes: friendliness, availability, comfort/price, quality of the cuisine, variety of breakfast items, access, parking. I will return with great pleasure.
Disgusting treatment. We booked, had confirmation. Then we reserved a table for dinner, this was also confirmed in February. We arrived and the hotel was locked, no one there. I telephoned eventually and was told the hotel never opened on Sunday. Was also told Booking.com was at fault. Then was told a side door was open and room 2 was ours, the key was in the door. We never ate as the whole area is dead on Sunday. I am 75 my husband 77. We left next morning with no breakfast because we did not wish to give this awful place more trade. Later in the day we checked our bank account and the hotel had taken the full amount. We had no check in, no restaurant, no bar, no service.
Beautiful countryside setting. Terrace was peaceful after a long drive. wasn’t going to eat but got tempted by the ambiance and menu. Very good.

We chose this hotel for its location as we were visiting Beauval Park with our family. We really enjoyed the hotel overall. It's a very warm and friendly atmosphere! The welcome was lovely and the rooms very comfortable.
Exceptional originality at night in a caravan and very beautiful layout
We chose this hotel for its central location between the sites we wanted to visit. Overall, it was just for sleeping, but we were happy to be able to have dinner after our day of traveling. The meal was good despite a rather limited menu. The room was adequate, although a bit dated and poorly soundproofed. The nearby road is not a plus... Regarding breakfast, we were disappointed with the value for money.

Good hotel, very rural. Food: watch the bill, they charge you an extra aperitif for two people. On the road, road signs are too small. Electrical sockets a little low for elderly people.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hôtel du Vieux Fusil. It is a half-hour drive from Beauval Zoo. The parking lot is large and very easy to access. The welcome is warm. The room is very clean and functional. The breakfast is perfect, which can be enjoyed on a sun-drenched veranda overlooking a garden. I highly recommend it!

The family room was very comfortable (2 bedrooms, one with 3 small beds, and the other with a large double bed). Beautiful decoration, two TVs...very good! The dinner was more disappointing, however. Rather high prices and average quality of the dishes. We expected a better service for the restaurant, it's a shame...
In the middle of Sologne, an unusual place where you can eat really well. The setting and decor are very nice. We will come back during a more colorful season.
