Came on the occasion of the Marathon: a "comfort" room (15) that we paid overpriced, reserved on booking because there was no more availability on the hotel website (whatever people say), with two windows opening into the entrance to the building, without privacy, a bathroom with toilets not even separate because the door was removed. The sink is a simple column, with little space to place the essentials for 2 people. The shower: a kind of mister, which cannot even be attached to shower hands-free... The photos of the rooms are misleading: this one is obviously not shown. we did not dine in the hotel, the breakfast was satisfactory and quite plentiful. We were not able to take advantage of the spa because the times and availability did not match. In short, very disappointed with our stay, fortunately it was only one night. I would have appreciated being warned in advance of this possibility. No network :-(. Positive point: Connect holiday vouchers accepted, this is quite rare.

The hotel is clean, the place friendly and the building very pretty. But at the beginning and middle of the stay everything seemed complicated: - add one person to a table of 6 for dinner, - add one person for the SPA (even though the latter was only occupied by our group of close friends at this time). hour there), - point out to us that the person in charge of the restaurant bar had worked 2 overtime hours (largely compensated it seems to me by the miscellaneous note applied to our rooms), The staff relaxed gradually of the stay, but overall, I think that a certain awkwardness was present, really not malice, just a rather "original" awkwardness for a hotel. Furthermore, I was surprised at the cost of our dinner. It would be important to give the details of the table and not simply distribute it over 3 rooms. This would dispel doubts.

I admit that I chose room 5 because I had a strong need to rest, due to a 6-hour time difference. After paying 120 euros a member of staff (not friendly at all) asked me for 80 cents tourist tax.... From the parking lot to the room, a long climb then a steep, almost dangerous staircase to reach the threshold of the room. Fortunately the bedding is good. More than average decor, the bathroom beats records, in fact the color of the walls is horrible, the shower head cannot be adjusted (poor quality in which three pseudo jets come out a monsoon and not a stream of normal water) I save the best for last, in fact the protection of the electrical system of the towel dryer was disconnected from the system and therefore dangerous. I explained this problem to the owner of this establishment who was of course surprised. Unacceptable that this establishment can claim stars. The friendliness of the staff leaves something to be desired. I took some very explanatory photos relating the words

A nice little establishment which promises a lot but which is therefore a little disappointing because not all the promises are kept. We did not understand why the room was made, the towels changed when we did not ask for anything and this goes against environmental protection messages. The setting is very nice. Be careful, it's a good establishment, but it's a shame to forget a dietary specificity when this is specified well before arrival, the spa is nice, but very small and there are only 6 of us in the bath! Plan fewer people at the same time. Excellent breakfast and very welcoming and friendly weekend staff.

Excellent stay. Hotel with character and charm. We were upgraded to our greatest surprise due to lack of a twin room. varied breakfast, the space around the central buffet a little cramped however. The spa is spacious, very pleasant and the spa manager offers excellent advice. Also a nice outdoor swimming pool. Small problem connecting to the free wifi, perhaps due to the thick stone walls of our apartment.

I am a regular at this hotel which I highly recommend both for the welcome and for its location.

Just 1 aesthetic opinion. I was in room 7. As much as the room is beautiful, the tiles on the bathroom wall clash with those on the floor. It's really a shame.

I chose this hotel based on the photos posted on the site, but personally was disappointed. The exterior is beautiful but lacks maintenance, the swimming pool between the access path and the road! the room for a three star, very dirty windows, average cleanliness, a small bottle of water for two people, no kettle or coffee maker.

Water outage in the village, so no water in the hotel Not even a basin of water per room to help out, and when I spoke about it at reception I was told "you will give the bill to the town hall we don't do anything"

We were accommodated in a "comfort" room...without windows to the outside, the sanitary facilities are dilapidated (bidet, the toilet seat is not suitable for the toilet, the joints of the bathtub tiles are black, a tiny window that only opens by tilting and turning). The air conditioning makes repeated noise (it seems to be a special system...). The single meal offered for dinner, it is true at the price of 27 euros, is not up to par either (a wrap as a starter, well-cooked veal with parsley potatoes and a fruit salad, fortunately fresh). The service is very unprofessional. It's a shame, the setting is enchanting and the building authentic and exceptional!

I liked the rooms a little less: the shower head is unpleasant and you have to hold it with one hand, not unusual in France, but I'll mention it anyway. Furthermore, a loud rattle could be heard in room 5 from about 5 o'clock in the morning that sounded every three minutes and deprived me of sleep from then on

Former wine property superbly renovated, very quiet, in a peaceful village 15 minutes from Villefranche, very friendly service, ... During the heat wave, the second bedroom of the apartment was not air-conditioned, we asked for a fan. It was acquired by one of the employees after having toured the stores in Villefranche and installed the same day in the bedroom. To recommend.

Charming hotel: stone facades, outdoor terrace under the trees, quality rooms… It was a very good night's stopover on the way to vacation. A few ideas for reaching 5 stars: adding bathrobes in the room, putting on a quality shower head, 1 bottle of water per person included (not 1 for 2) and above all reviewing the breakfast (lack of natural yoghurt, putting on jams from better quality, put portions of nutella not a big pot, make homemade fruit salad, offer fried eggs). The restoration could also be more worked to make it a "real" restaurant which I am sure would be a success because the terrace for dinner is very pleasant

PERFECT HOTEL welcomes wonderful

We had a good stay at this hotel. Very well located, on-site parking appreciated (narrow places). Check-in was very easy despite the late arrival. The room (n°7) was spacious and pleasant, very good quality bedding concerning the mattress, on the other hand the bed base creaked horribly, to change! The pillows, duvet, sheets were extremely comfortable, everything was very clean. The air conditioning was much appreciated, although noisy at times (even turned off?!). The room lacks a bit of privacy, as it overlooks the terrace, where everyone takes their breakfast, or has a drink in the evening. The welcome was pleasant, the staff does everything possible to make our stay pleasant and to respond to our requests. The breakfast is very satisfying: bread, pastries, homemade cakes and pies, eggs, charcuterie, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, homemade compote... Everything is there. The exteriors of the hotel and the terrace are very beautiful, with trees and flowers. The swimming pool is unfortunately undersized: 15 rooms in the hotel but only about ten places around the swimming pool, we could not take advantage of it when we wanted to because it was more than full (on Saturday afternoon in particular), too bad it was one of the reasons for which we had chosen the establishment. Overall a very nice base in the area and a good stay but some points can be improved for the price.

First x been and we liked it fine. The welcome was warm and helpful. We were helped to carry our belongings to our room. Room looked cozy including air conditioning .. Had ordered dinner could choose from a meal consisting of three courses for 25 euros per person. Fit was well worth it. Even a bowl of water for our dog, without having asked. Ben was fine, so was the shower.. Was nice and quiet and dark. Room 7 sitting in front of the door food could be served there. Breakfast also good choice enough .. Parking good. Small swimming pool, nice to use after the trip. There was also a spa but we didn't use it. Was about 7 km from the highway. All in all very satisfied.

The exteriors are magnificent and perfectly maintained. We also particularly appreciated our room, large, well decorated and comfortable. Just a small downside, however: the bathroom, more "in its own juice", deserves a bit of modernity :) otherwise, everything was perfect!

We only stayed one night (passing through for a wedding), unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool and the spa, but we found the hotel to be magnificent. The person at the reception very friendly, smiling and kind On the other hand, we found the price of the room (115€) relatively expensive for a standard room, this price not including breakfast so we did not take it! We put 2 stars for the comfort and cleanliness of the bathroom because the toilets are not comfortable because of the lack of space (closing of the door at the level of the feet !!!!). Some dirt in the shower, at the price of 115€ we expect impeccable cleanliness! But overall for one night we were satisfied.

Our room was small but pleasant and clean, large spacious bathroom with access to the roof terrace, deckchairs and a magnificent view of the Beaujolais. Too bad there are no shutters or blackout curtains... and a kettle to have an herbal tea in the moonlight on the terrace.

Good stay in this hotel. The building and the setting are pretty. The location is ideal for exploring the Beaujolais and Mâconnais region. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, the bedding of very good quality. We took advantage of the SPA twice (jacuzzi, sauna and hammam) with treatments on the second time (duo massages of 50 minutes, a great moment). Some areas for improvement can however be noted: - our room was adjoining another, the insulation is not optimal so it was quite noisy - the bedroom doors, if they are not retained when closing , slamming very noisily - the bathroom, in its own juice, deserves to be redone, ditto for the toilets - the plan of the SPA is not well thought out: you don't find yourself having to walk with your shoes to the locker room + there is no airlock between the entrance door leading to the outside and the SPA itself

€117 for a dark room, with a view of a ruined building. Bof! The price is too high. The stairwell smelled of cat pee… The €25 meal was disappointing: a simple starter salad, lamb and boiled carrots/potatoes. Reheated omelettes with 2 pieces of unsalted boiled potato for me who didn't like lamb. Creme brulee on the other hand very good. The server was overwhelmed … the breakfast is nice. Big disappointment not to have been able to take advantage of the SPA (we had chosen the hotel precisely for this) which is only accessible from 10 am to 7 pm … we arrived at 7 pm and would have appreciated a short hour of relaxation before the meal or after … But for us the quality/price ratio is not present

Very good stay in the Savigny hotel, we booked the Gourmet Getaway formula and we were not disappointed! We were very well received, the room was very comfortable, clean, the evening meal was plentiful and the breakfast buffet varied and delicious. The place was very quiet, ideal for resting. We also took advantage of the Spa and enjoyed the moments of relaxation in the jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. Only downside: the locker rooms are a bit small for changing.

Room 7: the bed squeaks a lot! Otherwise it was great

Charming hotel with very clean spacious rooms. Avoid room 7 which is a little damp and therefore gives off a not very pleasant smell. To have been there several times all the other rooms are very good

Gem in the Beaujolais region, friendly ladies, delicious cuisine, in short, we enjoyed ourselves and our dog too

Hotel very well located, perfect welcome, perfect meal. Perfect room only small downside breakfast. Indeed at 8:20 there was no bread or pastries. Really a shame because everything else was great.

Great stay at Le Savigny hotel. We had come for the Spa and took one night at the hotel. The room was sublime, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was gargantuan with fresh produce. The bar area is also very pleasant. Our disappointment: the spa area, a bit small, people come in and out with their shoes on. Indeed, there are two entrances and it's a bit of a mess. People arrive fully dressed in the middle of the relaxation area where others are in bathing suits in the jacuzzi or are coming out of a massage. Organization to review....

In the standard rooms, the toilets are much too small, otherwise very quiet and clean...

Everything was super nice. I had the junior suite, beautiful and spacious. Unfortunately in winter a bit cool in the room if not all as I expected (my first stay at the hotel).

The hotel is expensive compared to my second night in Lyon. The prices can be justified if it is possible to take advantage of the swimming pool. The spa is very poorly laid out! 4 lockers!!! Too small and bad sense of traffic between shoes and bare feet... It's not hygienic at all!!!

As we said this morning to the receptionist, we were disappointed with the size of the room. On your site there are two rooms for the superior double choice but we did not have either of them. The one with the gray carpet is not the one in the photo and is really small. The terrace is a plus and very pretty and indeed the season means that we could not enjoy it as it could have been the case in summer. Even though the room does not correspond to the photos and we have the feeling that we have been cheated, which is very unpleasant. Maybe you need to put the real photos and the difference between the two rooms. Also when we spoke to the person she was surprised when we have just read comments that are close to our feelings. So it's something that comes up quite frequently and you don't take notice. It's a shame because the place is beautiful. Very friendly staff. The spa is also very nice.

Very nice place, very well restored buildings. But we had a small water problem in the bathroom (perhaps a rise in the floor following a heavy storm during the night). Small permanent smell of humidity in the bathroom despite a VMC which turns at the same time as the light. Regarding the bedding, the mattress was quite hard, and it was not possible to have a blanket rather than a duvet. When it's hot, the duvet is unbearable to me. Damage.

I had made reservation for a room with dogs. The staff at The hotel sade they did not know I was traveling with dogs. I have a confirmation mail from The hotel confirm dog room. I also had look for that The hotel had restaurang wich they did. But it was closed this evening. You would expect that The staff would be able to help in some way, but it was impossible. I was nit prepared to go by car to city 5-15km from The hotel, since been travveling all Day by car. For example I asked if they could not bring a pizza or something but no help at all from The staff. My room was located 2 stairs up with very narrow steps wich for my older dog was Hard to do. In total this was oe of my worst hotel when traveling through Europe as I fo this 2 tome a year on my way to our apartment in spain where we spend The vinters.

Very nice stay at the Savigny hotel. The setting is beautiful! We loved the very quiet setting and close to beautiful things to visit! We would note that our room lacked a small fridge and brightness, but otherwise the cleanliness was very good, well equipped and heating at the top!
