Very nice comfortable hotel.
This hotel has the same feel as a guesthouse: the owner is welcoming and eager to please her guests. She let us choose our room: on the first floor, a small but quiet room overlooking the back, or on the 2nd floor a larger room overlooking the street. We opted for the quiet of room 8. The hotel has not been completely renovated, and this was the case with our small room; the shower room, accessed via a sliding closet door, is not the most modern and needs to be completely redone. Regarding the room, the 160 cm bed is excellent and a courtesy tray is available. Surprisingly, the floor is not flat and leans towards the door, in fact the wardrobe resembles the Tower of Pisa. This can be disturbing. But the other rooms that have already been renovated may no longer have this small inconvenience. The rest of the hotel, the common areas, are perfect: huge breakfast room / relaxation lounge. The breakfast is simply delicious, the bread still white, choice, eggs and hot milk on request, a luxury breakfast. Here again the owner does everything to satisfy us. Location-wise: the hotel offers free parking in the private courtyard behind the building, and the city center is a 500 m walk away. I would gladly return to this establishment, which I recommend without hesitation. Thank you to the owner.
Our two hosts were warm and most helpful . The food was excellent . Our room was spacious and clean with what looked like a new bathroom installation. The bed was most comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, eggs any way you might like. We liked this place a lot and can’t say enough of our hosts. We would definitely stay there again.

Christine and Lydia are wonderful hostesses, attentive to their guests' every wish. We can only praise their management. The meals, dinners and breakfasts are hearty and abundant. Homemade as a bonus! The room is very spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything is pleasant, right down to the bathroom and its shower. We were delighted with our stay at the Hotel Le Lascaux.

Everything was perfect
We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. But the room we were given, very small, with a dilapidated, tiny bathroom, and separated from the bedroom by sliding partitions, was not worthy of a 3-star hotel. Fortunately, everything was very clean and the bedding was extremely comfortable, which tempered our disappointment. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open, so we were not able to taste the cuisine of this Logis (in general the food is always good in these establishments). But the person recommended an excellent restaurant in town, not far away, so it was the lesser of two evils.
Very friendly welcome. We are so grateful for the offer to order our dinner in advance of our evening tour of Lascaux and return back at 21:15 to have it waiting for us. Excellent food dinner and breakfast. Perfect for Lascaux visitors.

A fantastic tandem, Lydie and Christine provide a more than pleasant and professional welcome, generous and excellent cuisine, the room is spacious and the bedding very comfortable. The copious and complete breakfast allows you to start the day perfectly! We recommend this establishment and had a pleasant and enjoyable stay like our dog Tinkie who was received like a little princess! Thank you both and keep it up!

We were satisfied with the welcome, kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Clean, fragrant and comfortable room; varied breakfast suitable for all dietary and non-food needs. The property is a 5-minute walk from the center and 15 from the Lascaux caves (5 minutes by car). Montignac is a very pretty and tourist-friendly town. The Lascaux caves are well organized and managed by prepared and kind guides. There are other attractions to visit in the surrounding area. We highly recommend the Logis hotel.

October period not very obvious from a tourism point of view: weather, cold morning, rain and sites that close soon but in this hotel heating at all levels. Good atmosphere and good restaurant. In addition it is located near Lascaux 4 and also many other tourist sites. The rooms are spacious, comfortable.

The hostess went out of her way to accommodate my wife's dietary requirements. The shower was good but my wife (80+) could not access it because of the step up and lack of handrail. Otherwise the room was good.

The hotel has been recently renovated and everything is very nicely done. Very good cuisine! All the products exceeded my expectations - the owner cooked herself and, as she said, she is a cook. Even the products at the breakfast buffet were better than in all the other hotels before. Definitely recommended!

What can I say, perfect in every way!! I highly recommend.
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel with half board and the welcome was always the same, top notch! The meals were varied and the food delicious, REAL food. In addition, Vhristine and Lydie were always available and attentive throughout our stay. We will know where to go if we ever return to this area. Thank you again for this great stay.

Very nice people, very good breakfast, wonderful!! Unfortunately, my GPS couldn't find the address, but that wasn't a problem.
