Hotel staff is welcoming. Quality breakfast, a gourmet buffet, with quality products. The room was ok.
The entire room, bathroom and toilet not very clean. Everything is old, bathroom mirror damaged by wear. No soap in the shower, we had to ask for it. In the WC there are holes in the paving stones....In short, we have been there twice and the rooms are not worth the price at all given the damage.
Very pleasant welcome, full and friendly breakfast. Good table and fast service in the restaurant.

Disappointing. Old furniture! A mattress far from being made to accommodate travelers who have made long journeys! Mold in the shower. Dust on the bathroom pipes. Shower with tray high enough so if you have trouble lifting your legs… problem. No hand soap.. container empty. Room without air conditioning so the window must be open .. it overlooks the pedestrian street .. we had the impression of being in a low-end formula 1

Hospitality as we like them: family, classic, traditional, with its strengths and its small faults
room clean but smelled of tobacco. It is true that I forgot to specify non-smoking room but it is so rare today to come across a smoking room. We went down at 8:30 for breakfast and some things were missing and were not replaced.
A very warm welcome upon our arrival. A very good hotel, hearty breakfast, varied in a cozy atmosphere, We had dinner in the restaurant. Really very good dishes, the tiramisu with red fruits....a treat. The servers friendly and smiling .. nothing to complain about. Thank you all for your kindness. Our stay was great and you participated in it. We travel regularly and this is far from the case! I would come back to this hotel each time I stay in Mende, I highly recommend it for anyone who likes conviviality.
I could not ensure my stay due to illness. As I knew that the reservation was non-refundable, I contacted the hotel to find out if it was possible to postpone the reservation to another weekend, it was only a postponement as they say. The hotel didn't even bother to answer me. I was charged with no response. Damage in terms of customer communication and image.

Arrived at 6:30 p.m. at the hotel, the room had not been heated and had certainly been for several days. We were told that we would warm up in the dining room during the meal. At mealtime there was no more soup and not much to warm up. Hotel to forget in winter and no consideration, it is an oversight of the staff it took until the morning to find a normal temperature, no heating in the bathroom. Very bad experience.

We therefore looked for another hotel, and it was not until 8 p.m. that we received the access code to this hotel by text message...... I find it deplorable not to have had a human welcome in this establishment. Please consider our inconvenience.

Hotel very well located in the city center, but with no parking reserved for its customers. Difficult to find a place available at the end of the day. The reception was brief. Presentation of the even faster "credit card" terminal. As for accommodation! It is not because the room and especially the bathroom which is very old must be dirty! A filthy, clogged, disgusting shower hose that will kill you to take a shower. When at breakfast, the bare necessities.

Nice and well located
It is an odd place, with the reception area reached through the bar. With luggage and small spaces full of waiters, it was not so easy to find the reception, and when I did, no one was there. The "lobby" was cluttered with all kinds of boxes and stuff, but someone finally arrived and after that all was fine., He noted that I had a room with 2 single beds and asked if it was OK to remove one for another room (it was). Later he was my host in the restaurant and was fun to talk with.

Hotel well located, in the center close to all services. The rooms are a bit old but the hotel is just being renovated. Only really negative point: very poor insulation between the rooms. Fortunately the customers are calm and sleep early :-)

Very disappointing accommodation that we will not advise anyone: Unheated room on our arrival Bathroom in the restaurant room (strong smell of urine and very sticky floor) Initially, the manager wanted us to charge for 6 rooms when we had occupied 2 rooms , because according to her an internet reservation had been made. Her behavior was odious, she called the police who came and understood our good faith. However, to calm the situation, we had to pay 31 euros more to supposedly cover the supposed reservation costs. Unacceptable!!

A warm and friendly welcome. A simple but comfortable room. An incredible location at the foot of Mende Cathedral. Very nice view from the room on the forecourt and the spiers of the cathedral. A full breakfast served on the table: hot drinks of your choice, fruit juice of your choice, basket of fruit, honey, jams and spreads, pastries and local bread as well as cheese and charcuterie. Hearty and delicious. All served by a very friendly person. Also very cheap. To recommend and to do again.
