We booked the hotel as it was in the area we wanted to be in to break our journey from Italy back to the UK. The location is superb. We were too tired to justify the gastronomic restaurant but the breakfast was good. The room was adequate but somewhat dated and quirky - but that’s part of the charm of a Logis stay for us
Nice location, large garden with water canals, good beds and bathroom. Needs investments. Restaurant adequate, servant needs training (just delivers and takes away plates). without any comments). Wine list is good. Self service breakfast adequate. The whole feels somewhat outdated.
We were the only people staying the evening we were there but overall this was a great stay. Very nice location, room was average but good value and the welcome was great. The breakfast was great and the restaurant was superb. We were very pleasantly surprised and would stay again.

Disappointing evening stopover. Cozy hotel yes but only from the outside which must be very pleasant in season because of the river and the terrace. For the rest, the room is very very very dated. Bathroom with linoleum and paper on the wall even in the shower, probably water-repellent but still. Very thin mattress. low bed, TV small and too high. Pillows too thick! Room 5 Dinner OK but no choice at all. The dessert didn't suit me (apple pie). Impossible to get another one. Good. On the other hand, excellent breakfast with fresh and diverse products in a room with a lovely view of the river. The best part of my stay actually. Unsatisfactory value for money compared to other accommodations.
The accommodation is slightly off the normal travel route. The detour was worth it because of the scenic and quiet location on a small body of water. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the owner was very nice.
Very pleasant and calm environment in the middle of rivers.
Wonderful. A little off the usual tracks but worth a diversion. Lovely old mill house establishment spread in various buildings around ponds. Maintained carefully outside with lots of well kept plants and shrubs. Clearly a loved and nurtured place. Hotel and restaurant building quirky and fun. Sleeping and breakfast room building a little more modern. Operated by extremely friendly welcoming hosts who spoke English. We had two different set menus, from choice of three (or a la carte). (Noticed they had a children’s menu as well, which would have suited our children years ago and we were always hugely relieved to see on a menu back then). Good choices, beautifully prepared and served. Attentive friendly service. Highly recommend food. Quality of produce clearly very high. Our breakfast array was a delight. Masses of delicious foods. Homemade yogurt, large choice of home made jams, large choice of breads/croissants/cheeses. Big cafetière of coffee. We chose eggs and boiled them ourselves. All consumed by a large window overlooking the millpond. We felt very generously attended to. This hotel restaurant deserves to be a great success. If you think you might be passing we urge you to try it, we were extremely happy and satisfied by it.

A very nice, typical and lovingly managed LOGIS - again at any time
It was a second stay the first having pleased us very much
The only negative comment I would make is that the hotel and grounds feel jaded and out of date. Having said that, the rooms were clean with a good shower, and a kettle!
With the menus being covered in plastic there’s a feel of a chain restaurant, but the food was delicious.
It is very easy to miss the turning into the hotel…
