Maybe engaging conversation with the customer to welcome them. Being friendly . It was very formal between us. The othe issue was , there is no elevator to take the heavy luggage to the second floor.

A very good stay, with a choice of breakfast. A small downside for me: the bed was much too soft, I sank into it, I prefer it when it's harder. Each to their own taste 😏. A hotel I would gladly return to during stays in the area.

Very quiet and laidback location. A short drive into the hills, nestled near the forest in a small village close to Soultz - Guebwiller. Freshly renovated, very clean, very bright, very comfortable. Fantastic value for money. Simple efficient service, warm and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel, we would stay again without hesitation!

I would say it's a hidden gem if many others hadn't discovered this small hotel on the mountainside. I missed air conditioning in the room, but luckily you can keep the windows open at night. You can charge your electric car at the parking lot for a pretty cheap price. Our dinner was delicious and inexpensive. Good wine list is a bonus.

Beautiful, quiet establishment in the village, the phone network is unstable, a day without a phone at all, the Wi-Fi is spotty, not enough capacity if everyone connects at the same time. Over 3 evenings, two dinners in the back room of the restaurant where it is hot and where the chairs are from another time. The menu announcement is not exactly what is on the plate, mashed potatoes instead of rice advertised etc..... Very good breakfast. Too bad it could be better!

We are returning for the third time to this hotel, which offers consistently outstanding service and excellent food. The value for money is incredible. The establishment is very modern, yet located at the bottom of a very peaceful valley, a 1.5-hour walk from the summit of the Grand Ballon.

Superb hotel. Lovely room with lots of space, very comfortable. Very friendly welcome and all staff lovely throughout our stay. This is a lovely calm and peaceful spot. We had an excellent dinner. Great breakfast, nice to have a proper pot of coffee rather than a machine!

More stars, is it possible? My stay, in fact in the case of my work, was similar to what I like to organize for my better half. I didn't want to leave the hotel. Truly exceptional in a superb setting. It's worth going out of your way to find a stop like this. The equipment is impeccable.

Everything fine

The hotel is in a beautiful setting with walks from the door into the Vosges mountains. Very welcoming to us and our dogs, who were welcomed into the restaurant, which was great. The rooms are comfortable and, if too warm, the windows can be opened.
The food in the restaurant is excellent with a good choice of local wines.

The hotel and restaurant services are generally very satisfactory. However, there is not much space in the room for clothes and in the bathroom there is no place to hang wet towels. In addition, the value for money in the restaurant is average.

Great service and welcome from the owners and all the kind staff. Very comfortable and good location in the valley. Perfect location for day hikes or hiking en route. The view from the Grand Ballon is incredible. The cuisine was delicious & we enjoyed it immensely especially after hiking all day.

Very nice establishment, located in a very quiet little village. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding nature. Many hikes possible at the foot of the Grand Ballon. However, the small towns of Soultz and Guebwiller are close by. Beautiful decor, pretty adjoining park, good food. Also note the friendly welcome and kindness of the staff. Our stay was short (2 nights) but very pleasant, and we will return with great pleasure to this idyllic place.

Great place for a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a very calm village and has a very extensive garden where you han relax after a firm hike. Drinks are available all day. The restaurant is a real great restaurant and has a fixed menu. That makes it less suitable to stay more than 4 days as you may end up with the same dish again. But there are some nice brasseries nearby too. The hotel is ideal to stay when wanting to visit le Grand Ballon. Parking space in the immediate neighbourhood.

on the downside ...

The rooms ( at least ours) are not that large but pretty well equipped with very modern and clean bathroom and toilet. One remark we had ( we informed the owner about it ) is that the carpet needed some cleaning as it had an unpleasant odour. I have to add that during our stay it was pretty hot these days, close to 30 degrees. The restaurant is also open for non hotel guests and is full most of the days. As a guest it is a pretty busy (but tasty) evening. We stayed for 5 nights but 4 would have been the beter choice.

All in all great value for money, the carpet in the room was our only negative remark

Very very good experience! Everything is perfect, the welcome, the cleanliness and the comfort😃 I have rarely had my breakfast on a fabric tablecloth and with a small bouquet of real roses!!!! Bravo for these little details that make the difference!

Dear Sir or Madam, we visited your hotel for business reasons. We felt very comfortable in your hotel! The ambience/well-being was very good, and the owners and staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The hotel is in a very quiet location and easy to reach; there are also parking spaces. All in all, we are very satisfied. Disadvantage: In room 17, the mattress is completely saggy on both sides = very poor sleep quality because you are lying on the slatted frame. It would also have been nice if the heating in the room (=at least in the bathroom) had been turned on, as it was cold and rainy that day. Otherwise, my colleague and I felt very comfortable with you. Thank you very much!

We arrived late in the evening, and this was no problem for the hotel, we even could have dinner in the restaurant. Because the food was so good, we even decided to have dinner a second time.
We had the junior suite, very large and clean room with big bathroom. Also breakfast is very good. We also liked the terrace and garden.
Extra plus is possibility to charge electric car and storage bike in separate garage.

A calm and relaxing setting with quality service

Very comfortable room, exceptional bedding and wonderful welcome. Exceptional dinner. The only areas for improvement for room 22: - you can hear the neighbor in the next room walking in his room (the floor creaks) - the lights are very white. A warmer color temperature is more pleasant and makes it easier to fall asleep.

It's worth more than its three stars.

The hotel restaurant is very good. It is nice to be able to sleep at the hotel so that you can fully enjoy a good meal in the evening. This time I was able to benefit from a very nice and large room at a price below the normal rate. The bread cooked by the owner's father for breakfast was very good. If it is possible for me to free myself from my appointments in the coming weeks, I would like to be able to spend a few days at the hotel and take advantage of the paths around the village for walks. The quality/price ratio of the hotel and especially the restaurant is excellent.
