The charming "La Magnanerie" hotel and its bistro style restaurant "Côté Bistro" are located in Provence, between the Alps and the Mediterranean, 15 minutes from the historic Citadel of Sisteron Read more and 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, Digne-les-Bains and the skis resorts. Our location between Gap and Marseille, in the heart of the Haute-Provence Alps, offers a wide variety of activities. The accessibility via the Route Napoléon, as well as our garden with its shaded terrace and its verdant environment offer an ideal designer setting for a breath of fresh air, to relax or rest in our three kinds of room: Comfort, Superior and Suites. Nice quaint hotel. Friendly, easy check in. No elevator.
The reception was not manned when we arrived. There was only a telephone number at the entrance that gave us the code for access. After 20 minutes, a member of staff appeared. The shower was broken. They didn't want to give us a discount for that (!). After good experiences in previous years, this was our fourth and last time at this hotel.
good stay, problem with the digital code to enter the hotel on my arrival, faulty contact only worked after more than 10 attempts.

Very disappointing, no air conditioning, small fan, no dubious halo pillowcases, mattress placed on a wooden board one hell of a night I had booked 2 nights I left without breakfast feeling sore and very disappointed.

Despite reception opening hours, all access doors are closed. You have to call the boss to get an access code, because no one is there. It took several attempts to get the front door to unlock! The boss almost took us for idiots. No excuses when we met at dinner. Very minimalist pattern.

Your hotel was closed on July 14 (2024) at 7:30 p.m. and I did not set foot there. The manager, who agreed to answer the phone, offered to give me the "code" for a room, in an empty establishment, deprived of any catering service (dinner and breakfast). I refused, with his agreement, and tried to cancel on the Booking.com website. And you persist in asking me to share my experience! That's it and don't you dare charge me anything. Serge PIERI

I regret having stayed at this hotel. Opinions on the internet differed but the photos looked good. There is no one to welcome and hand over the keys. The room is dated, as soon as you dwell on the details, nothing goes right... The air conditioning is broken, it's hot, you open the windows and you can't sleep with the noise of the road nearby ... The TV turned on at 6:30 a.m. by itself, spoiling our night even more than it needed to. The decor is old, everything is coming off the wall, it's torn, pierced. The chandelier hangs crooked, the wires are visible. The cleaning if it is done is not given as proof the multiple cobwebs. The Vmc shower and bathroom does not seem to work. The bathroom is the epitome of desolation: mold on the ceiling, shower screen that blocks opening/closing, broken mixer button, dirty mirror. We wasted 172 euros for one night and 2 breakfasts for a "superior" double room, I don't dare imagine the state of the standard rooms. This is the first time such a bad experience has happened to me, I hope that the owner is aware of the extent of the problem and will do what is necessary for future customers. I do not think that such a hotel deserves 3*, it is clearly misleading and I will no longer trust the Logis Hôtel group.

We arrived at around 4 p.m. There was no one there. There was no sign at all. After contacting them by phone, we were given an entry code and were able to move into the room. The room was fine (worn out). No WiFi in the room. The evening meal was disappointing (too little and unloving). The breakfast was a disappointment. Too little bread and croissants. The basic selection was also sparse.
Spacious room in a well located and well maintained establishment. I recommend for a stay.

Very warm and very professional welcome. Very pleasant and quality dinner at the restaurant.
Reception limits no evening stopover if you have reserved a room at the base because the gentleman is commissioned by your central office for this room where you can hear the neighbors talking and snoring so there is no way to modify it!! No commercial gesture! A walk-in shower where you would need a stepladder to access the shower!

Friendly welcome, clean establishment, correct value for money, large room but outdated decoration, used bedding… A plus for the air conditioning and the toilet separated from the bathroom. Breakfast just okay! Filter coffee, yogurts and fruit juices not chilled, no salted butter…
Great welcome hotel well located very good value for money
On the edge of the national, this was not expected; the site is a bit too flattering hence the disappointment.
The photos on the site are no longer up to date, the hotel is aging and poorly maintained, only Fabien and his wife are worth the detour because they do everything to make your stay pleasant.
Superb discovery!
We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had been satisfied with both the accommodation and the restaurant. We are very disappointed with this second visit. The accommodation is ok but the restaurant and the service leave something to be desired. We had taken half-board. Ordinary untasty food. At breakfast, no more bread or croissants. After a quarter of an hour we received defrosted bread and a barely baked croissant. Finally, an error in the bill where the half board was counted but also the dinner dishes. In short, a lot of amateurism.

Evening stopover, no evening meal not indicated on the reservation (meal tray) - we therefore decide to find a restaurant in the area. The hotel charges 123 euros including the meal not taken knowing that the room is displayed at 88 euros… it is the first time that I have seen such a practice in hotels and very surprising on the part of Logis de France!!!

Very small room for a couple. The room and bathroom were very damp with water on the floor when we arrived which came back later. Room was shabby and bathroom too. To be renovated.
