Soul and character in this hotel. Very nice welcome. The team is caring and smiling. The Thai restaurant is excellent! I recommend.
Large bedroom and large bathroom. Swimming pool very pleasant especially in hot weather. Convenient guarded motorcycle parking.
A hotel ideally located in a quiet place with an owner who knows how to welcome his customers. The room nevertheless deserves to be brought up to date (carpet everywhere)
On the hotel website open at 3 p.m., we arrived at 3:30 p.m., the staff arrived at 4 p.m., without warning us. We had to wait 1/2 hour. On arrival the receptionist no apologies.

Very good stay in this hotel, the meal was delicious and plentiful and the breakfast very well supplied with many fresh products (squeezed orange juice, fruit, etc.). The room very clean and well equipped. The reception of the very pleasant bosses and the terrace as well as the Wifi are perfect for working with a nice view. I recommend and I will return.

Friendly and family hotel. Quiet with a beautiful view of the landscapes of the lake. The restaurant at the top only fresh and excellent. Lots of little attentions during the stay from the master of the place and his companion, the excellent chef. Thank you for this stay.
From many years of sales and customer relation I have learned one important thing (from many others) : never act in bad faith. When you are wrong, you are wrong, you do not try to report the faulty on your customer.
I arrived at 8 pm. Asked for dinner. « No problem sir, your table is booked, come whenever you want ». Took a shower and have a moment to check my email. Returned to lobby at 9.10 pm. « Sorry sir the kitchen are closed, I told you to arrived before 8.30 pm ». « Really ? You never specified that point !! ». They finally accepted to serve a rest of a reheated dish after I insisted (40 minutes of car to go and return from the first city near to this hotel…). Good news is the owner’s wife is a very good cooker and especially a nice person like all I met so many in Thailand. So the experience was not horrible as it should have been otherwise.
But prices are a little exaggerated, 27€ for only a play starter and a dish. Hey, we are in Cantal or what ?
Additionally, the swimming pool was in renovation and this detail was never mentioned when I booked the room.
Will not try again this place.

Proprietaire non commerçant et n’aime sûrement pas les réservations sur internet et nous considèrent comme des sous clients !
Dans la chambre, poubelle salle de bain pleine à notre arrivée et pas de draps de bain. Nous avons signalé le problème au propriétaire qui nous a dit qu’il ferait le nécessaire pour la poubelle et rien na été fait et pour les draps de bain que nous allions les avoir le lendemain jour de notre départ, mais pas eu!
Au restaurant nous avons demandé un plat composé avec des nems, servi sans Nems. Le patron nous a dit que c’était pas normal mais rien d’autre ! Pas de geste commercial !
Petit déjeuner les mesures d’hygiène sont à revoir, pas serviettes pour tenir le pain, pas de pince pour les viennoiseries et pas de serviettes pour se nettoyer les mains pour le service du jus d’oranges frais.
En conclusion à fuir!!!!
The very friendly owner has a sense of service and hospitality. He is very committed to this hotel which he has just taken over. In terms of comfort, the lack of air conditioning is really a handicap in these hot periods. Despite everything, good value for money.
Both the owner and his hotel are very friendly and welcoming. We didn't go to the restaurant but the breakfasts were very generous. My night was calm. The lake is worth the detour, the Cantal charmed us, as well as of course the mountains a little further.
